This is one of the few ways go get over go Peanut Island, and it's very fast, and easy to navigate. (Not accessible by car) When you arrive at Marina Village, free parking is available for guests going onto the island. The shuttle boat costs $25 for adults, and $12 for children. It's a quick boat ride over, approximately 5 min. Shuttles run about every 15 min to and from the island. Tickets can be purchased online, or in person. Everyone is given a wristband which is how the shuttle employees keep track of who's paid for the round trip shuttle service. It's important to note alcohol is not allowed onto the island, if you're carrying bags, coolers and carts over it will be checked. The process to book online is very easy. Just don't get there early because they start checking in about 10 mins before your departure time. They just need a better system for when they ask people to move to the side, they already made the line, Just have someone check them In or use different color bands for the different times. Got the shuttle passes online to ensure I got a spot to go over to the island. Process went smoothly. Some of our group did the walk up and didn't pay in advance. Though they chanced it, they luckily were able to get across... although they had to wait. I suggest that if u plan to do a walk-up, either go as early as possible.. or go later in the day to avoid the crowds. Also, be on time as they stick to the schedule. The website answers most of they questions you may have before going, so be sure to check that. For parking, the marina alhas a substantial amount btwn the overflow lots and the main lot. This is THE ferry to Peanut Island, and I am so glad there is such a thing, as a trip to Peanut Island is lovely. The cost is not cheap, but definitely cheaper than renting or buying your own boat. The directions online are accurate, and even on a weekday not in the summer there are people waiting. It hasn't been as full as that first time I went on it. Parking is also easy when it isn't super crowded. It is a very, very quick trip, and this business runs a 'tight ship,' as it should after doing this countless times each day for years. Horrible Company, out of no where mid day around 1pm on a Monday during the week they said they were no longer accepting riders and people could not buy tickets. If they are monopolizing the only way to get to the island this should not be the case. Also if they were at capacity they should have someone at the street to the entrance of the Marina saying no more tickets available before people pay for parking. Enjoy going to peanut island my family had a great time but upon pickup at 5pm the people that picked us up in the shuttle were extremely rude and condescending about us not having on our bracelets that were given upon purchase of the shuttle ride. We explained that we were not told to wear that bracelets but simply to have them for when it was time for pickup. PROS: this is the fastest way to get to and from the island. CONS: this is $18 round trip per person which is a rip off. The customer service on this day was extremely terrible and disrespectful! Upon parking following 7-10 cars rushing to not miss the ride we park I "wrong" section (boat owners only) the sign was so small. Old man in cart decided to come and disrespect us so badly and loud another attendant driving on another golf cart rushed over to remove him before getting reported! 17 counted cars parked in this area and he did not approach them!!! I would like them to explain why out of 22 people/cars miss parking the only ones disrespected were "brown" I really hate to think that this is people are going to start behaving!!! On shuttle itself::: captain was extremely rude! Talking to 50 grown people like we were a bunch of toddlers. Yelling "everyone sit I have things to do and I've been working all day driving you people" this was not a joke! He also tried to rush everyone in line back on the boat before all the others were even able to get off! Not safe! Immediately I put my $10 tip back in my bag. I am huge on customer service and never have cash! I went out of my way to make sure I got cash out for tip! There are a lot of travelers and also local residents that Come and support this business! Mind you this isn't a business that is necessary to be open during these rough times but people like myself still come out to support!!!!! You all need to learn some customer service! We had a great experience taking the water shuttle to Peanut Island. They have free parking. You buy the ticket at the dock. They have chairs under a canopy to sit while you wait for the boat. They run every 15-20 minutes. You can bring chairs, carts, & dogs on-board. The boat ride takes about 10 minutes. We went on a slow day so we got on the boat when it arrived and didn't have to wait for another boat. The staff is friendly. Dogs travel for free. Adults are $12. They also gave is info on the current weather and tide and said we can call them anytime while were on the beach to ask for a shuttle back. There is infinite room for our stuff. Pre-purchase your ticket. Do not wait and think you can purchase on site. I share this opinion because of my experience. My party of 9 arrived at 10 am only to be told that all rides are SOLD OUT for the remainder of the day. Memorial Weekend starts 9 am departures btw. We thought that some tickets would be reserved for online (a skip the line for $25 deal) and some would be available onsite; but quickly discovered that to be incorrect. There was some confusion as to if people returned from the island that our party would be able to go over via shuttle but that was misinformation as well. After about 60 minutes of googling other ways to get to Peanut Island , (Sailfish Marina never answered their phones) we were told that first come first serve tickets would be available at 2pm, leaving us with about another 90 minutes of waiting and limited time on the island. Tik Tok videos brought us here and possibly others. I'm sure this place will be popular for some time to come. A little disappointed we didn't get to snorkel but had a great beach day at Singer Island. All in all the staff was helpful with suggestions to surrounding areas. My best advice is to avoid my experience of disappointment, confusion, waiting around & wasting gas because you drove over an hour purchase your tickets ONLINE and show up for your booked window, trust me. read more

I came on memorial day and the island is packed. They will most likely sell out bringing people to the island which holds 900 people. They charge $25 for a round-trip per adult and a little less for children. The trip takes 5 minutes . There are the two things that I'm not happy about. 1) There are no lifeguards on this island not even on a busy day like memorial day . They're waiting for death to occur before they get Lifeguards. That's not the shuttle's s fault. However, I did leave my wallet in the car by mistake, and I asked if I could ride back to get it. They literally said that I would have to pay an additional $25 to go get my wallet. No grace or mercy The shuttle is not in a safe place of town and they know that. Staff was extremely rude. There were two Ferry's yet they made 40 grown adults basically sit on laps. Captain made rude remarks about how he assumed everyone on the boat would act on the beach. Blew my mind they enforce the no alcohol rule despite having no way of stopping the people who enter by their own boats, or paddle boards. In my opinion, go to Juno/ Jupiter beach. The peanut island ferry staff was rude and not helpful. My group and I were charged $20 per person which i think is very expensive for what the service and the actual ferry ride is. In order to take the Peanut island Shuttle boat you park at the Marina Village. First you unload the items you want to take with you by the shuttle and then you park in a back unpaved lot and then walk back to take the shuttle. It's not a terribly long walk and it avoids paying for parking in the marina lot. The shuttle to the island is $12 round trip. It's a five minute trip so I think that's a little expensive but it's the only way to get the island if you don't have your own transportation. Peanut Island is so close you can see it only a few hundred feet from the marina. On the Saturday we were there the shuttle was leaving every 20 minutes but it was even faster than that so there was hardly any wait. I had my daughter buy our tickets while I handled the parking situation. They had no problem taking my money but they failed to provide any tickets. It was only when I sat down and overheard the instructions given to other people that she realized we weren't given what we needed for the trip. It was quickly remedied but it could have been a problem getting back if we hadn't realized we didn't have the needed tickets. Once you pay you are supposed to be given a red plastic tile for the trip out and business card looking tickets for the trip back. The trip back has the phone number of the ferry company in case you need to call them if you are having a problem. Once you have your tickets you can wait on some chairs under an open tent they have kindly set up to provide some shade. You can bring coolers, chairs, and all of your beach gear with you on the boat. I even brought my foldable trolley. I believe there is an extra charge if you are bringing a lot of camping gear. Once you have boarded the boat it is just a short trip to the island. The boat staff provided information about where to snorkel. The guy on the way out over exaggerated the difficulty of the trip back. According to him the line back would be as long as Broward to Miami and people would be aggravated and looking to fight. It was completely ridiculous. They were 15 people on our return boat at 5:30 and there were no problems at all getting our ride back. read more

For the regular people who don't have boats this is a great service. It is $12 per/person (round trip) and parking is free at the marina. The only reason I took off 2 stars is because of the wait. I went on a holiday weekend and they said the last boat back is 5pm. So us expecting there would be giant line we decided to get in line at 4:20pm. The line was super long at 4:20pm and people were cutting in the line, so we were only able to get on the boat at 5:25pm....more than an hour standing in the sun. I understand it's a holiday weekend and there will be lots of people, but management should limit the number of people they take over so that people don't have to wait hours in line. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. It shows the company cares more about profit then the customer experience - which I hope is not true. read more
