I loved the overall feel and vibe of this place! I felt immediately calm and Zen/euphoria upon walking in the front door. I wish I got there earlier before my appointment to enjoy the lobby with hot tea. I also appreciated how the pedicure area was back in a seperate room, set back. So, other patrons walking in the front door will not disturb you at all- there is the main lobby/entrance, and then the guest waiting room, and then my Technician took me back into a seperate room either more set-back. It really helped with the spa experience. My technician was really professional,and friendly with just the right amount of conversation. Do NOT come here if you have autoimmune or health concerns. They will not allow sick cancellations within 48 hours, encourage you to come in while sick (charge you a cancellation fee if not) and do not have N95s or even require you to wear any sort of protective gear if you are ill and come in. Very disappointing experience. EDITED: The owner response says I called five hours before my appointment. Due to waking up with worsening symptoms, I called the morning of my afternoon appointment, closer to six hours before the appointment. It would be great if people who were running a fever had the option to cancel without being charged (particularly those who can't afford the charge; are insurance billed). Would also be nice if the establishment encouraged the use of masks etc or had N95s around (they don't do either). Such a bummer, given I know other providers there have complained about frequently getting sick from clients :( read more

I recently was gifted a spa day from my daughter for my 65th birthday. I was so excited!! I was going to get a 90 minute massage, a foot flexology (1 hour foot massage) and a facial peel. The massage was ok. He spent alot of time on my shoulders and then said that he could not massage my neck or shoulders. Unfortunately that is an area where I carry alot of stress. I then went into my foot flexology. I was told that I was getting a pedicure. I said that we had signed up for the treatment that was given to men on their website "one hour foot therapy". She said that was the same as the pedicure but I had the option to get polish. I was disappointed because I was having issues with my feet and looking forward to a massage. I told her that I was prone to ingrown toenails and she proceeded to cut my nails extremely short and I am now dealing with multiple ingrown nails! Last and very least I had my facial peel. I realize it was my first time so that they were going to take it easy. She applied the liquid. There was very little burning and she said I will not see results right away as I would need additional treatments (which I was planning on doing). She mentioned there would be some puffiness and redness and stay out of the sun. For this reason I rescheduled my birthday dinner to the day before the spa treatments. There was absolutely no change/difference/redness/dryness. Nothing! I went back in and spoke to the esthetician supervisor to give them a chance to provide customer service and she looked at what was applied and said that it was very strong and did not offer any resolution. This was a major disappointment for my 65th birthday celebration and a waste of money. I advise you to go to another spa. read more

I genuinely hate giving this review. I still love the quality of the clinicians, what I have issues with is the management and the membership that I had signed up for. As soon as I signed up they appeared to have switched to a different way of scheduling. I wasn't able to get ahold of a human and the online appointment management system was difficult and glitchy so I wasn't able to make the appointments I was paying for with the therapist I was normally seeing. As part of the membership, if you don't use your prepaid appointment within a certain time frame, you loose your money, a cost that is not inconsequential. It was an upsetting process taking multiple calls and visits to get them to even take me seriously about the problems, I really just wanted to have my appointments but trying to make things work was impossible and in the end they finally (grudgingly) refunded me for only 2 of the three months that I had paid for but had been unable to use. I left feeling abused from the whole thing and sadly will not return. I wish things were different and I am hoping they have remedied the issues. Maybe because I spoke with them, they made some changes. I hope so, but for me, I just don't have that kind of time and energy to deal with it. I'll find a place that is easier and more relaxing. read more

I was so excited to try Pearl Day Spa after the Eugene Marathon this year- unfortunately I fell after finishing and dislocated my finger. I immediately reached out at 10am when I was at Urgent Care to let them know of the situation. My appointment was at 1:30pm, I did not think I would need to miss it, but then unfortunately my XRays came back and Urgent Care sent me to the ER. Long story short I did not get out of the hospital until 5pm. I completely understand any type of wellness facility to have cancellation policies, but for to not give any concession to someone experiencing a medical emergency is honestly mind blowing, and shows the character and customer service of the facility. I was not treated as a person, but as a $. I even asked if I could reschedule- anything, I sent them my doctor's information and my XRays, and all the replies I received pointed to the cancellation policy I signed. Very disappointing. This is obviously just my unique experience, from their reviews online they seem to be great, but my experience was beyond negative and I did feel I should share- I still can't get over a company charging someone while they're in the hospital. Filled out my questionnaire before going in. once there it started great, I soon realized I took the time to fill out the online questions in vain bc I just had to answer most of them all over again during services. everything was going great, friendly environment. then I got to the end to check out. I got the spa package for a Christmas gift and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I was there like 4 hours for a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure. I got lunch which was included and I got to relax in the lounge between each thing which had water and tea. You can also get alcoholic beverages as well. I definitely will be going back again.
