I'm between 3-4 stars, but apartments get bad reviews because we spend most of our time here and see every small detail- good or bad! It's hard to please with that continuing scrutiny so 4 stars it is. The good: Very customer service oriented staff- Autumn has been here since I came 2 years ago and always has a smile. (Anne A you're crazy) She does a great job! Everyone else, always greets me with a smile. -Apartments are good for roommates- across the living area so you never hear them. -Pet friendly. -Most residents are younger- 20s-30s so there's lots of opportunities to meet people. -Fun events! My favorite is the gift wrapping room they set up for residents for Christmas- that s* is expensive! They also have food and movies and a book club, they try very hard to make it a community. -Hot tub is awesome, pool and hot tub are heated- YEAR ROUND! One of my favorite things here! - Lots of smaller trash bins so I don't have to walk very far, emptied consistently. - Gym is 24 hours, I work at night and often work out around 11 pm, and I can plug my computer into the tv and watch an episode of something while biking. It's a really nice set up. -Location is so close to I25 you can get anywhere. And DTC is constantly expanding so there's tons of restaurant choices/ things to do. -They have great package pick up I use all the time. The bad: -The apartments seem cheaply made/ put together quickly. My floor has a wrinkle from my bar stools (sliding out I suppose) My cabinets don't shut quite right/ are uneven. I don't expect my deposit back for things that are not my fault. -Parking!!! Ugh. If they could take one thing from this review, it would be parking. Yes, you are informed when you move in you have first come, first serve parking. And that Wyatt towing (so many poop emojis inserted here) will tow your/ your friends' cars if you stay past 9 (or 7? I don't know). This makes it so I can't invite friends over. I have had a friend towed, cost him $300 because he stayed at our place until 10:00. You can only have your car plus two guests (must be registered online- makes it very inconvenient to add your guests' license plate online, and you get to PAY for it) You also get to pay for your parking pass and your guest passes each year! Outside of those two guests- their cars are subject to be towed. Makes a really great invitation to have a party at my place! Come to Pearl, but first send me your name, license plate, and Venmo me $10 for your couple hours visitation! Please come again. -Walls are pretty thin- neighbors have complained at very quiet music. (I'm on the 1st floor) - Greystar took over. It hasn't made much of a difference but being owned by them makes me cringe a little. Giant corporation. My renewal letter had my month-to-month rate $500 over what I'm paying now, each month. Of course they had no room to negotiate, they are owned by greystar. - I've had my bike stolen off my patio and my car broken into here. I don't hold them accountable for this though, there's nothing that could've been done on their part. All to be said, with the credits they give you for being a resident and overall good customer service and amenities, I do recommend this place. The giant kitchen island is amazing!!! read more

We like it here. It's suburban and close to the highway, has a gym, bbq area, pool and a place to entertain. I understand the parking needs regulated so forget having people over for a gathering after 7. We love an urban setting, but this place was great for its proximity to work. We have had things not work and it was fixed right away. All in all, we are happy. The light rail is a close and it's easy to get downtown. The office staff is great. read more

I just moved here and the location is nice especially if you want to be close to the city but not in it. My apt is pretty spacious and the complex has all the amenities I need. However, it would be nice if they had a bigger gym. They even have event for the residents which is nice. Due to my schedule I haven't been to one but I hear they are pretty nice and fun. read more

Do not live at these apartments! I've lived here for a year now and had to take my car to the shop. The dealer gave me a car to drive over the weekend. I had a courtesy vehicle parked here for less than 8 hours and it was towed. This parking policy is ridiculous! It's $300 to get your car back. read more

Super clean, quiet and beautiful. Everything is very tasteful and high quality, which was a huge selling point for me as a renter. I love living here! The only complaint I have is the lack of parking and the fact that you have to pay every time a guest stays over after 7 p.m. You get five nights free for guest parking then you pay afterwards, which isn't exactly ideal. read more

These apartments are really cool. Nice, contemporary designs & great floor plans. More spacious than most; great layouts. Washer/dryer in unit. Garages available which is really great with the snow & sudden hailstorms in Colorado! Community amenities include pool/spa, fitness center. Convenient DTC location. My main objection is the road noise from I25/I225. If you get a unit further from the highway, should be fine. read more

Recently moved from TX. I selected this apartment complex from online and wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. Turns out it was a great decision! The staff is so sweet and always willing to assist where they can. The location is near the light rail which is beneficial for those Weekend outings! Last but not least my one bedroom apartment is absolutely a perfect for me! It's just what I needed and wanted. With upgrades features and garden bathtubs - I'm a very satisfied neighbor! read more

I've been living here for a while and it's been great. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I have never had any problems with them. The biggest problem I have is the other residents. It's more like living in a college dorm here, which I wasn't expecting. Recently, some people were having a big party with 20 of their friends in the parking lot outside of my apartment. They were sitting in the middle of the asphalt blocking local traffic and grilling in their garage. (It was a holiday weekend, but still, there IS a grilling area with ample seating for this kind of event.) There was also an incident with a resident spraying a fire extinguisher in my hallway. I was really hoping since the price was higher that the people moving in here would be the type with a good social conscience; nope. I can hear my upstairs neighbors, but I don't have a problem with that; part of living in an apartment. Parking is fine; I understand the guest parking rules because the parking spaces are seemingly limited closer to the apartments. Overall, it's good, minus the college dorm feel. read more

I haven't moved in yet, but I am counting down the days til move-in day! The apartments themselves are beautiful and feature a large modern kitchen and spacious upgraded bathrooms which I love! The community is clean and quiet from what I have seen while I visited. Really great location too! We didn't have any complaints regarding the apartment managers or staff. We finished our one year lease and got our full security deposit back, so there were never any issues regarding that. The apartments are nice too, with nice finishes and relatively soundproof walls (we never heard our neighbors to the sides of us). However, as was typical, we constantly heard stomping around from the neighbors above us. Parking was a pain. The guest passes are a good idea in theory, but the practicality is out the window and incredibly inconvenient. However, being next to i-25, the apartments are unbelievably, unbearably loud. In the one year that we were there, we didn't once sit our on our deck because it was far too loud. And trying to sleep at night incredibly difficult, as there were vehicles, motorcycles, and semis screaming on the highway all night. We actually bought sound insulation to put in our windows which helped only a little bit. The noise was unbearable. Can't believe they didn't pay more attention to this. One note of caution, when we went and initially viewed the apartments, we didn't notice the noise because it was during rush hour, where cars were going 10-20 mph, so be mindful of that. Access to light rail was awesome though, about an 8 minute walk to the Belleview station. On top of this, the amount they raised our rent during renewal was outrageous, but I guess that's commonplace for the rental market in Denver. I actually laughed when I saw the new rate. read more

I do not recommend living here at Pearl Apartments. Evryone in the office is rude!!! Parking is super strict. It's hard to have guest over and being a resident, you're not even guaranteed a parking spot. I always have to park so far from where I live. read more

I have been counting down the days until the lease is over. The leasing staff is rude and the apartments are definitely no where near sound proof. We can't have anyone over due to the ridiculous parking restrictions and that anyone extra walking in the apartment always results in a noise complaint. I'm getting married before the lease is up and my fiance and I can't even practice our first dance in the apartment or have anyone over to celebrate. Seriously, do not move here. read more

I have lived in the Pearl apartments for over a year now and couldn't be happier with grounds and the staff. Griffen and Ben are the friendliest guys you will ever meet and are always willing to help out the residence in anyway they can! I moved here a week ago from California. Being such a big move, the staff here made it extremely stress free and easy to get adjusted. Everyone is extremely friendly and works really fast to get things done. I put in a work order yesterday and someone from the maintenance department was here this afternoon to work on everything. Really glad I chose this property over all the others I toured. read more

PLEASE READ THIS What initially started as a great experience has moved toward strong dissatisfaction due to issue after issue that management does not seem to care about. First off, let me start with the good things. The location is wonderful, the apartment looks modern and tastefully designed, has great appliances, and we have yet to experience any leaky faucets, drafts from windows, or anything else that would speak to bad quality craftsmanship of the apartment itself. The complex is rather quiet, which is nice, and has a feeling of seclusion. Never had any problems with outrageous or obnoxious neighbors, either. Now that's all good and dandy, but there are outstanding issues that have made living here frustrating to say the least. What first sparked this trend of downward views was when we had a problem with neighbors parking their vehicles in undesignated spots. Management alleges there is a towing company who patrols to make sure cars that don't have a proper pass or are parked improperly will be towed. This must be absolutely FALSE. I spoke to a man in the leasing office who appeared to be shocked by this revelation and requested I send pictures to an email he wrote down of those offending vehicles, and that there would be a swift response. I did just that and never received any response at all. So I tried calling the towing company directly, and they said at our particular complex residents were not able to file complaints directly and that it must be handled through the property management. Great. I sent the email to two other emails I had previously communicated with Pearl management through, and never received a response back there either. Even better. The next thing was when my vehicle was stolen from the complex and I watched it happen with my own eyes. In the morning I went to ask if they had any cameras so I could see if the second vehicle that aided in my car being stolen was caught on camera. The initial, curt, and rather rude response I received from the lady that morning was "We don't have any cameras at all on any of the buildings. Sorry. Are you sure it wasn't towed?" Are you kidding me? What an uncaring thing to say. Especially given that I KNOW they don't care what any tenants are doing in terms of parking, given the previous history of not returning my emails for help with neighbors parking as they please. They offered no condolences, advice, help, or assistance. The woman seemed offended that I asked. This was strike two. Lastly, we just recently purchased two garages for our vehicles to help with the parking situation and hopefully minimize our chances of having another of our vehicles stolen. We were told that one garage was being used by someone who previously had access, so we couldn't use it for the time being, after we had already paid up the deposit and the pro-rated rent for the month. Great. The other garage was "good to go" and we were assured our remotes were re-programmed and no one else would have access. That simply cannot be the case. This morning, our first night of parking one of our cars in the garages, we walked out to find the garage open... How is this even possible?! We were assured that no one else had access, yet there is our garage door, hanging wide open with one of our vehicles parked inside. This is extremely unsettling to a couple who just had their other vehicle stolen, and were purchasing the garages in hopes of having a shred of peace of mind here. Strike three. As hopefully anyone who takes the time to read this review can see, there have been numerous issues from management that have been left unresolved or simply uncared for. This is the most frustrating thing for any apartment resident to go through - the feeling that the people who are supposed to "manage" the complex are not doing anything to help you or make you feel like your problems matter. BE WARNED. You will pay thousands of dollars a month to live here, but get pennies on the dollar back in respect or care. This will be copied to Google and other sites because people deserve to know what they are getting into. read more

We have been here for a couple of months and what a relief!!! We previously lived in an "upscale, modern" apt community about a mile away and were extremely unhappy. Living at Pearl DTC has been great so far!!! Our apt was very clean upon move in. The office staff is helpful, attentive, and friendly. The grounds of the property are kept very clean. The community seems pretty calm and quiet. Neighbors have been friendly so far. We live in the smallest one bedroom floorplan on the first floor, and the layout makes the small space very livable and inviting, and offers a significant amount of storage space. Our spot receives natural light and good airflow in the mornings and evenings when we open our patio door and windows. Very dog friendly!!!!! We have not had any problems with parking. We have seen a security patrol drive through the community in the evenings to "check things out". This area is very walkable. We walk to get coffee from Corvus in the mornings, walk to the light rail, walk to grab a bite, walk to work. There is a really nice park, Wallace Park, close by and great sidewalks and "trails" for running. This community is also a short bike ride or run to Cherry Creek State Park!!! No complaints. read more
