I showed up when I thought I made the appointment for. There was another customer that walked in just in front of me and she sat in awaiting area. I asked her if there was a receptionist and she said she just text her stylist to let her know she was there. I had never been there before and didn't request a particular person. Also, no phone number like that was provided to me. I looked around and could only find two staff members in the middle of cutting other people's hair. They have no receptionist and were completely ignoring me. After walking around the front and side entrance area for about 15 minutes someone finally came out. She apologized saying that she thought I was friends with the other lady and that's why she didn't check on me. She went to look up my appointment and found that it was supposed to be the week prior somehow. she was nice enough to make me an appointment for the following week and I was not charged that other deposit. When I came back the following week for my appointment, the stylist was about 10 minutes late and took forever to cut my hair. It's a simple haircut and took an entire hour without washing or styling. She also took a couple phone calls from her daughter during my appointment and apologized multiple times stating that was out of the ordinary. She was very nice but I would not come back here. During my first visit, I noticed a sign on the front entrance that there was absolutely no children allowed. When I was waiting to be helped, I noticed there was a child about eight years old that seemed to be one of the stylists' children that was in the main work area watching cartoons while people are getting their haircut. This is not a professional salon. I was really hoping this would be a good place. It was a similar haircut to what I received at Great Clips but took four times as long.

When booking, I disclosed that I would be using a gift certificate purchased and paid in full in 2015 and was explicitly told that their policy is that gift certificates never expire. Upon arrival, staff claimed the certificate was "too old," blamed system changes, questioned me about my daughter who gifted it, and delayed my scheduled service. After the service, the gift certificate was refused, referred to as a "coupon," and discussed loudly in front of other customers. Instead, we were offered only a 20% discount as a substitute, forcing us to pay again for a service that had already been paid for. I was a long-time customer but will not return due to the lack of professionalism and failure to honor their stated policy.

Theresa (the owner) is by far the best provider my wife and I have ever been to. She does excellent work. I am a diabetic and I need to have a pedicure regularly. I have been to many different places, and the vast majority of larger shops have such high turnover which means that you have to deal with inconsistencies. With Theresa, I know that i will always get proficient and professional service. She has a steady flow of loyal regulars and for good reason. Since she is the only provider, I suggest that you call to make an appointment. For me, getting a pedicure is a necessity, for my wife it is more of a luxury, but we both are thoroughly satisfied.
