I've had ok experiences here a couple of times which is why I will rate 3 stars. Most staff is pleasant. But my most recent pedicure was terrible. She wasn't friendly and didn't say a word to me. She didn't ask if I wanted my nails cut or filed, instead she just started hacking away. I asked about a break on the side- if it could be glued- and that was ignored. Really disappointed about this place, I'm not sure how the reviews are so raving. Firstly, the area where you get your nails done was super messy. They was stuff leftover from the clients before me, the glass partition was dirty with nail polish on it. Afterwards, they told me to sit and dry for "a few minutes". I was there for about ten before I pulled her over and asked if they looked dry. She said yes then I go to my car and I see bubbles forming (photo attached). Then I go to start my car and my thumb ever-so-slightly touched the key, and the key sinks in and leaves a smidge (clearly my nails were NOT done). I looked a little closer and when she cut my cuticles, she didn't finish! There's jagged skin all around my nails that should've been cut off. Overall-- *MY pedi was good, my sisters person kept walking away and changing so hers took twice as long so then they rushed her mani (big thumbs down from her) *My dip powder mani was upsetting. The reason: He left the color all over my skin on each and every finger (see picture) and he was okay letting me walk out of his salon with my nails looking like that. The Full Experience: My sister had called and made a same day appointment for a mani/pedi for both of us since her normal place was booked. Upon arriving we were treated and asked what type of polish we wanted. We both wanted regular polish for the pedi, but hadn't decided what type of mani. They had use choose our regular polish and then decided we'd do the dip powder mani. I wanted mine to match--my sister wanted two different colors and they thought that was weird. They seated us together at the pedi station which was great! But then my sisters pedicurist kept walking away and switching people. They did offer us a beverage and chips which was nice. Unfortunately, my pedi was finished over 20 minutes before my sisters and I was moved to the mani station. My dip powder mani would have been good except he didn't want to give me an actual manicure (cuticle care) and I was made to feel uncomfortable. Right before my sister came over, my manicurist moved me mid-manicure so we could sit next to each other. (I chose red powder so I couldn't grab my shoes and he said he would grab them for me--he never did and later these two other chicks rolled their chairs on top of them.) On top of that, my sister was seated at the station next to where I originally was and the two other girls were seated together in my original chair and the last one. At this point I was the only person in the new row where my manicurist started asking me if I had a boyfriend and kept stopping and looking at my nails saying they were "so cute". Being that getting my nails done is supposed to be refreshing and relaxing, his behavior made me feel really uncomfortable. The main issue however, was the fact that he left the polish all over my fingers and didn't clean it up. The girl seated next to me at the end even noticed and said she was getting nervous for her mani. My issue is if I'm paying $78 for my nails to be done, I expect them to look like they're worth the $78. I shouldn't have had to go and clean the polish off my skin myself. read more

So I'm pretty disappointed. I am new to the area and was looking for a salon to do gel and came across Pearl. I made an appointment a week in advance. When I came in, I was attended to immediately which was nice. The girl who did my pedicure was friendly and so was the man who did my manicure. However, I felt that 78$ was really pricey for a pedi and a mani with just gel. I didn't get any acrylic or dip etc. I've paid less for acrylic in Florida, so I thought it was a bit high of a price. The women that work there are extremely nice so I will start by saying that most of my nails are my real nails with the exception of a few tips. I get dip powder I told him I wanted my real nails shortened just a little bit well he cut them too short he put the tips on. They are all different lengths all different shapes. He didn't listen to me and my nails look horrible for the amount of money they charged , I would not recommend this place and I would never go back especially since I now have to go pay another place to fix them. I've been here with my mom a couple times and have never had an issue with the quality of work, services, etc. So today I made an appointment for a full acrylic set at 12:30. I didn't wait very long and had a very nice gentleman do my nails. My issue at this point is the quality of this work because I know for a fact that this isn't what I usually receive. None of my nails are filed/shaped evenly or the same, I have cuts all over my cuticles and top coat on my skin. I truly do not understand all the good reviews, this place was terrible! My friend and I booked an appointment for a Saturday at 215. They kept us waiting until 3PM! The pedicures we received were completely sub-par. The man who was doing mine took forever, he got gel polish all over the skin on my toes, and wasn't even going to clean it up until I said something, and then after that, I still had gel polish on the sides of my toes and the tips of my toes. I had to have him completely re-do one of my toes because it was a streaky mess, and he didn't even put polish on my pinky toes. My friend's experiece was NO better, the woman doing her pedi cut her big toe nails WAY too short, so they'll most likely be ingrown, and she also had polish on her skin, too. This place sucks. This is the best work anyone has ever done on my nails. I also have to add that they were so gentle throughout the process - and I am a baby when it comes to pain! But they were perfect. Today I came in with out an appointment baby in hand. Tony tended to me and was awesome. Poor guy probably felt rushed because my little man was a bit fussy. Even though I'm not loving the color (no time for French) I chose much he did a great job! Thin, a little shorter and round than I'm used to but great job none the less. If I could give this place no stars I would. The WORST nail experience in my life. Went there on a Saturday after noon. Called first to see if they were busy and if walked ins were welcomed, the man on the phone was kinda vague and I can tell he wanted to tell me no. Nail salon looks ok in the inside - nothing special. I asked for a gel mani and regular pedi. I finally get to the chair and the woman is doing my feet. Cool. Then she starts painting my nails and I kid you not when I say this. Instead of using a bbrush and nail polish remover/acetone she digged her NAILS into my skin/toes to remove the excess polish and proceed to do it multiple times through my entire time there. After the pedicure we get to the table to do my nails. I told her what I wanted and she said she needs to add a base coat since the glitter is sheer. So I'm like ok she should know what she's doing since this place has 4.5 stars and very little bad reviews. Nope. I was so wrong. The color she chose was a magenta purple. After she painted the nails and the put the glitter on. I told her that isn't what I wanted. She then started to huff and puff and talk in her language. Another lady walked over and asked what's wrong so I told her this isn't what I wanted. They asked me what I want to do then. I told her to take it it off since this isn't what I asKed for. The women that was doing my nails told the other woman that is just too much work and that she doesn't want to do that. Me already frustratted and upset told her forget it and just finish so I can pay and leave. $50 for a mani and pedi that i absolutely hated. This has to be the worst nail salon experience in my life. I went to Pearl Nails & Spa for the first time yesterday and I'm thrilled with my nails for the first time in a loooong time! I didn't make an appointment, but only had to wait about 10 minutes to be called in to begin my manicure. I came in for an acrylic fill, but was talked into having my acrylics removed and getting dip powder instead of gel color. This was the best suggestion, and I'm so glad I went with it. The woman who removed my acrylics was very gentle and did a great job. We talked about the nutritive benefits of the dip powder as opposed to the damage that acrylic nails can cause. She answered my questions and explained the process of the dip powder. I brought photos with me on my phone of an ombré French manicure that I was hoping for, and have been trying to get for a year at other nail salons. Every other salon has told me that they can't do an ombré French manicure, and wouldn't even attempt it. Tru worked to create the ombré French that I was hoping for, and even offered to add in some beautiful sparkles that really made my manicure extra special. The salon's hours on Yelp said that they close at 5 on Saturday's, but no one there made me feel rushed and Tru took the time to really give me what I was hoping for, even though I didn't end up leaving until almost 6 pm. Everyone at Pearl made me feel welcome, and took great care of me. Tru genuinely wanted me to be happy with my nails, and she did an amazing job. The salon is gorgeous and clean, and the Pearl team is knowledgeable and personable. The customer service that I experienced was impeccable. The best nail salon I've found! I've been getting my nails done religiously for 20+ years. I called and they let me come right in on a Saturday, I arrived and realized it was closing time but they said it was no problem . They stayed until 6:30pm. My nails were a mess, the gel hadn't been redone in months. At no extra cost the technician took off my old nails and did a beautiful pink/white dip. It was my first time having a dip done. She did an amazing job. The technique was really awesome to watch and very relaxing. Very gentle as well, she even gave me a nice hand message! The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and peaceful. I almost fell asleep a few times. The shop was following all Covid guidelines, washing hands, sanitizing chairs&tables, keeping social distancing between booths and even a protective plexiglass hanging neatly from the ceiling at every table that comes between you and the technicians. Overall the interior was extremely clean, I was impressed with the cleanliness. Very simple, elegant decor. I won't ever go anywhere else! The price is a little bit higher but well worth it. Not a great experience. I went here for my birthday this year - the first time I had gotten my nails done in over a year, and I was so excited. The woman doing my nails seemed nice, until she made a comment that wasn't very nice. She complimented my nails, but then shared that they looked like I had never done any housework.
