This was an excellent experience. Yes, a bit pricey but that's only in comparison to NH salons. Staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. The salon was clean, sanitary and comfortable. My manicurist did stop during my manicure to get another client started with soaking off their gel. However, it didn't feel rude, rushed or disrespectful, not to mention the pedicurist continued working on my pedicure and I never felt like either technician missed a beat. It was truly a great experience, especially having my manicure done from the pedicure chair, what a nice treat that was. Thank-you Pearl Street Nail Salon for such a wonderful experience. Really wish I could give them a better review. Recently went on vacation with my family. Needed a new gel manicure ASAP as mine were starting to break. They were able to fit us in with ease even day of. Nail artists were solid with designs, color selection was solid, I will give major kudos on the fact it seemed incredibly clean, not only the stations but also the tools. Where our issues lied: First, multiple people doing nails would just get up to work on other customers nails which delayed time for multiple patrons unexpectedly. The job generally felt rushed- this would be okay if the quality was also fine. One of my gel nails chipped within 24 hours of getting them done. Massive disappointment. The pricing was not bad at all, especially for a touristy area. But I guess you get what you pay for- cheap prices + rushed services = issues with product which I unfortunately faced. This place, I believe, would be solid if you're getting a super simple mani pedi last minute, need a single or two nails repaired, but would not suggest for full service if you're looking for a quality over price. read more

the worst. I booked a mani/pedi for my daughter's wedding. it was rushed and gloopy. They applied a base coat plus 3 colors plus top coat. By dinner, 5 hours later, the nails were chipped!!! terrible terrible. I sat at salon for an hour for nails to dry too. The pedi was better but not by much. I did not have time to go back to shop and re- do and removed both the next morning and painted my nails myself. The person was in from Houston. I assume little to no training. just awful. read more

This is what I get for cheating in my nail tech from home. This place came highly recommended by several locals I spoke to. I came in for a full dip service. The entire appointment took an hour and a half which seems like a long time. The tech filed, drilled, and cut my cuticles to the point that they were raw and bled. Every time I winced in pain she would hit my hand to get me to relax my muscles. I guess the blood wasn't a hint. I requested acrylic tips because my nails break easy, and they did when she cut them. Instead of putting on acrylic tips, she glued my broken nails back together. The didn't file the end last down so they are uneven. All of this can be seen in the pictures posted. If I was a local, I would never come back. read more

If I could I would fly into Jackson Hole for my pedicure from here on out for the rest of my life. My entire experience was truly wonderful! My suggestion is call for an appointment prior. We were a party of three coming in for wedding pedicures and manicures. From the first moment we stepped in the door it felt like they rolled out the red carpet for us. It was the most fantastic pedicure / manicure I have ever had! It seems that they take every sanitization precaution necessary. The pedicure chairs are comfortable and the massage aspect is actually relaxing. In fact the entire experience was relaxing. I never felt rushed. I choose regular nail polish for my toes, OPI Show us your Tips. I went with the grapefruit energizing bath for my feet and the fragrance was wonderful. I was able to sip my champagne while I fell deeper and deeper into being pampered. I was pleasantly surprised when they pulled out the hot stones to massage my lower legs. That was absolute heaven. I do not know how I can possibly have a pedicure in the future without hot stones. By far it was my favorite aspect of the pedicure by far, but other add ons were also great. For example they offered a paraffin dip for my feet. That felt amazing, it was this gentle warmth that enveloped my feet. The awesome people that were taking care of the 3 of us are so talented they did not make a mess, or at least we did not see it. Now this is where I was really blown away, instead of moving myself and my other friends at different times over to the manicure seats, the wonderful folks taking care of us allowed all 3 of us to stay in the pedicure chairs. We continued to be in the comfy chairs getting the chair massage while they did our gel manicures. It was absolutely mind blowing what service they gave us. They proceeded to give me the best manicure I have ever gotten in my life. They did the paraffin dip on my hands with a deep massage and then after finishing up my awesome gel nails they even did an arm salt scrub! My experience was top notch at Pearl Street Nail & Spa. I will be making another appointment there in the future. And I will again say yes to everything they offer!!!! I cannot stress this enough, if you are in Jackson Hole, and you need a little pampering, please make an appointment at Pearl Street. I went in for the first time to get a dip polish. The guy who did my nails did a haphazard job on my cuticles and the dip was weak. It began chipping only after three days. There were only two coats of dip without a base coat or a top coat. I will not be returning. Such a waste of money! Ladies, you know how frustrating that is! I was three hours from home, in Jackson, alone for medical reasons. Honestly, I was very, very nervous about the doctor visit and imminent hospital procedure and having to go through the whole thing alone. I had been 'picking' at my overdue manicure from my "regular" nail salon. Dr. Google had scared the daylights out of me and for weeks, I was absolutely stressed out seeing one doctor after another, none of whom could tell me anything and I felt truly blessed to get an appointment at St. Johns. I was convinced I was dying and probably needed to find someone I could leave my shoe collection to who would take all of my cute heels and sandals out of their boxes and show them a good time upon my demise. After seeing a specialist, yes it was serious and I needed surgery the next morning. I made the appointment at Pearl Street nails for the evening before surgery because my nails looked horrendous and I didn't want to be in surgery and have the surgical team distracted by my terrible nails and toes. Plus, if something bad happened it would be mortifying to leave this earth without good looking nails. My appointment couldn't have been better - truly a wonderful experience and I had cut two fingernails down to the length and shape I wanted and that was perfect - they followed that lead in length and shape; I also appreciated that they had a little card with nail shapes to choose from. I grow great natural nails and I have done gel for years to strengthen the nail and prevent chips or peeling, keeping them looking nice for usually three weeks. I always do Pink & White nails and toes (they match everything, look professional, so no need to deviate) and I have been going to my regular salon for years and have gotten used to what I initially felt was too thick and the painted white tips too large. After years of getting the same thing every three weeks I simply got used to it. At Pearl Street Nails I got a fantastic pedicure and it was very pampering and relaxing, but the French Manicure - whoa! This was DIFFERENT in an incredibly awesome way!!! As near as I can tell I got an SNS French dipped manicure with white powder and pink powder. Now I have always been dipped before, but not with two colors. This is thinner, just as strong (if not stronger) and it was a month ago and still looks great, but I am in need of maintenance, so I am going back in five days to Pearl Street Nails because I am just hooked on how much I love the service and truly love this look and feel! The other thing I have really noticed over the past month is how much nicer and cleaner the underside of the nails look, and I have really done nothing differently - I wash regularly, scrub with a nail brush, oil my cuticles, etc... and I can't explain it except they look pristine and yet totally natural. The other thing I have noticed is that if I have an itch on my arm or leg I can scratch it without having to run and grab a 'back-scratcher' like with my old nails because they were so abnormally dull. Drop a bobby pin on the bathroom floor? I can pick it up with my Pearl Street Nails where I was having to use tweezers with the over-lay gel from the regular salon - that I am now clearly cheating on, but I just cannot resist returning for this wonderful service! Totally took my mind off of the surgery and everything was great and turned out excellent. (I also highly recommend Dr. Trott at St. John's Otolaryngology!) I received several compliments on my nails and toes while I was in the hospital. I also noticed one of my socks was on crooked when I came out of recovery - and I couldn't help but wonder if they were peeking at my gorgeous pedicure! read more

I am here on vacation and thought a pedicure would be relaxing. They did a fabulous job and it was relaxing. The one thing I would recommend you clearly stayed what you want. I ask for a pedicure ($60) which was fine. I specifically ask for no gel polish. And the did gel(which I do not like at all) and now my $60 pedicure is $85 even though I did not ask for gel.
