I cannot say enough about Karime and Aieta. The WiFi is strong and fast. There are some amenities like exercise equipment and business office (with printers and shredders). Coffee and popcorn every day. There are laundry machines and they are commercial type machines in two sizes. Karime makes sure that people are informed about what's happening at the park, especially with the different food trucks that come in to sell. Many people use this park as home base while they are receiving treatment from one of the many hospitals in the Houston area. The park is very convenient to nearby restaurants and shopping. I previously stayed at a different nearby park, but after staying at Southlake, Southlake is my new go to park.

But they were charged 350... assuming it was a misunderstanding we paid because my parents needed to park so I could talk to the owner next day. Well I finally got to speak to one of the rudest people I've probably ever delt with, and he informed me that it's 50 a night and the weekly rate only applies if you stay more than 10 days... I said to him... I don't think a week means what you think it means, but he asked if I knew where he's been all day and I said... no, do you know where I have been all day? He yelled at me and hung up.... So anyways. Don't recommend staying here haha. The host was super nice but the owner informed me that he was going to bitch her out for not handling this herself and apparently he did because my wife got a text from her saying as such. She was awesome really, but the owner is a piece of work. This place also operates under the alias "brazos river retreat rv" as well. I give Erich 5 stars QRV has nicer parks than this one. (all of them) Their lack of attention to this property is sad. The accommodations here are lacking. There is a heated pool that they won't heat. Many of the concrete lots are sinking and when it rains I have to trod through several inches of muddy water to get to my vehicle. There is no grass on any lot, it won't grow due to the overgrown trees so my dogs track in mud in after being in the yard. They discontinued the cable TV. We had an ice machine but it belonged to the manager at the time so they took it when they left. Most RVs have very small freezers and it is difficult to make enough ice for more than one person. I miss the ice machine!! The other parks rent golf carts to the residents. Not here. There is no hot tub and our rec room is nothing like the rec rooms at their other parks. QRV gets 3 stars

The spots are level, clean and the park is easy to navigate…read more It is obvious this KOA caters to long-term stays, which is fine, but it really makes the park look more like a trailer park and not a KOA holiday. They don't enforce their own rules....there were utility trailers parked a multiple sites, many with clutter and trash sitting outside and several that were severe eyesores. Not to mention, the site next to me had a dump truck full of trash. It smelled so bad it was coming into my trailer when it would open the door. I have stayed at many KOA's throughout the country and while on the surface this park looks nice, it is really lacking. There is a lot of deferred maintenance, the pool was cloudy and had large cracks in it and missing tiles, and the sites need a good pressure washing. The landscaping around main building was nice and trimmed but the sites and dog park are a different story. The dog park was unusable due to how high the grass was.....to their credit, when I brought it up, they sent someone out later that day to weed-eat. With the landscaping around the park being so overgrown, the mosquitoes were out of control. We couldn't even sit outside and enjoy the night because of this. The staff was nice and friendly and it is nice that the park is gated. Overall, I don't think we will return unless there is some serious work done.
