I like using the computer there to look up some movies that are coming up in the present year or the next year and to see what kind of adult books they have for me that are adult enough for me to read. As a tiny complaint, it would be helpful if the electrical outlets were better placed - they tend to be on columns that are not so close to the tables, making it harder to get work done.

Last week was my first time going to the Public Library in Oxford, MA; and boy have I been missing…read moreout on a cool place to incorporate reading, learning, and playing for my kids. The entire second floor of the Library is dedicated to kids. There are separate rooms on this floor for playing, crafts, and reading. The room for kids to play in is HUGE! There are toys for younger children, such as trucks, dinosaurs, and dolls. They had a little corner with a Barbie House and Barbies to play with; puzzles, board games, and blocks. This is the best room I've seen at a library for kids; and I have visited a lot of libraries in Massachusetts. They have a great selection of books for adults and kids; the librarians were all extremely friendly and helpful; they have computers for the public to use, as well as printers and a copy machine. Unlike the Worcester Public Library, which is the closest library to where I live; my kids and I were able to go here, actually use a computer and print off what we needed; and not be asked 4 times in the parking lot for money and then harassed inside the library for money as well (an EVERYTIME OCCURRENCE AT THE Worcester library ). I truly enjoyed my visit here, and I can safely say it was one of, if not the funniest time, my daughter and son had at a local library. The only thing stopping me from 5 's was that they had very few video games, or at least for the popular systems most kids play today, which was what my son had been most looking forward too; and the ONLY other downfall was the parking. There aren't a lot of places to park, and being on the Main Street of Oxford I feel like parking on certain roads may not be allowed. Other than that, if you haven't visited the Oxford Public Library, bundle up your kids and take advantage of a pretty awesome place to entertain them entirely for free!!

I am so impressed with this post office branch!…read more I sell on Amazon. I have a problem with a package sent to this area from CA. They answered the phone on the second ring! The lady looked up both tracking number, and put my customers packages at the retail desk for easy pickup for her. WOW! My post office ALMOST NEVER EVER pickups up the phone, unless you let it ring forever. Then if you do that, they simply pickup the receiver and hang up on you. So Impressed with your Customer Service! I only wished I had written down the lady's name!

Booklovers Gourmet has been around for quite awhile now, but they recently moved to a larger…read morelocation with plenty of parking. There's frequently something going on in Booklovers, author talks, book signing, and demonstrations. They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store. I love the selection of gifts also, cards, jewelry, honey. I'm sure you could find something here for lots of people on your list! Make sure you try one of their delicious made to order drinks, coffees or smoothies and take a look in their dessert case for an amazing treat!
