I would give 0 stars if I could. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAR AS YOU CAN. They are the biggest scam, rip off company in existence. Long/short: I went for prescription sunglasses in June 2018. When I went to pick them up, the lenses were so light, you could see my eyes right through them. It barely kept out any sunlight. It was definitely not the lens I ordered... plus they were blurry. I told them to send them back because they were made incorrectly. They should be DARKER and NOT BLURRY. They didn't want to do it at first and said there's nothing they can do. They finally sent them back.. I come to pick them up the new pair..... they are freakin' BLACKKKKKK. Like black out black. I couldn't see a damn thing out of them. It sounds hilarious until those sunglasses cost you damn near $800... oh and they still billing me $80.00 because they had to have them remade. Oh I'm sorry.... that was their fault. I had to take them to LensCrafters to be fixed. They always get it right!!! I will be going there from now on(even though they don't accept my insurance)... but what's the point of paying for insurance if the lenses are $400?!?!?! Places like this will purposefully destroy your credit so it wasn't worth arguing over anymore.... and the corporate office does nothing... Not my favorite store. After ordering my glasses I overheard them switching the case that came with my glasses that I paid for ! For some generic case which I had to bring back because that case wasn't big enough for my glasses. Upon returning for the exchange the case I was given STILL WASNT the original one for my glasses it's been maybe two weeks and this new case the glue is already wearing off so the case lining is falling down. I bought a pair of expensive sunglasses there (first and last time), I returned a few different times, they are defective and cannot be worn they are so lopsided when on. Their staff tried to adjust them and made them worse. They now claim they will not replace them no give me a refund. Run, don't walk into this awful store with no customer service. read more

I really don't understand how this place stays in business. One year ago I go there after my wife made appointment on a Saturday .(only day off) and was turned away because doctor wasn't in . After seeing doctor later in week go to pick out glasses and young lady who clearly knew nothing told me that I didn't have insurance for glasses. (That was a lie) wife got glasses under insurance. Next year flipping go back on a Saturday and they tell me doctor is at a wedding today and I have to reschedule. Get my test done and she tells me glasses in 7 to ten business days ( guess what also fucked up ladies another lie ) call her and she say " oh you came on Saturday and the UPS guy didn't come until Wednesday for shipping. Fuck this place and there ups guy . Save your self the aggravation of dealing with the unqualified people in the front of the store. It is ashame how they bullshit you to get your money . NEVER AGAIN . also they ( girls in the front) fucked up a ladies contact order while I was there . Get some qualified people. read more

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Virginia who works for Pearle Vision in Eatontown, NJ. To make a long story short, I recently fled NJ due to a domestic violence situation. I am now staying with a friend in another state and unfortunately I ran out of contacts. Virginia went above & beyond for me as she understood how traumatic things have been for me. She wanted to help in any way she should. My contacts were on back order, and I do not have the money to see another eye doctor down here. After I had my over the phone appointment, she sent me some contacts to get me by until my year supply of contacts came in. She called me frequently with updates, and she was always so kind, patient, and understanding. She eventually was able to have my year supply mailed directly to me. She did all of this behind the scenes.. she frequently called the contact company to make sure I would get them as soon as possible. She definitely went above & beyond. We live in a harsh, and sometimes very cruel world. I have witnessed first hand just how tough life can be. But I am also extremely humbled when I come across someone with a good heart. I value that more than anything else in this world. Virginia has a really good heart and I truly hope her bosses appreciate it. Because good employees like this are rare. She didn't have to do everything that she did. But she did it because she cared & wanted to try to make my life a little less stressful. To her bosses Randy & Ed, please do something kind for Virginia. Show her how much you appreciate her as an invaluable employee. Because she certainly deserves the recognition. Thank you, Virginia. Also plan some time and get a comprehensive eye exam with Breeden & Minsky Eye Care that is also in the same location. Ask for Silvia who is very professional, exceedingly helpful and knows every frame in the store! Also look for sales and coupons to help defray the costs. The doctors and staff at this location were some of the best that I've had to deal with. A very knowledgeable young man named James helped me select the frames and lenses that were best for me. My prescription for contacts expires tomorrow, September 4, and is for 2 24 packs. Upon ordering online Pearle Vision refused to honor it. Upon calling Pearle Vision they said they would give me contacts for one day. When I mentioned that the prescription says its for 2 24 packs and expires tomorrow, therefore that is what I am allowed to order, they refused. When I went for an eye exam last year there was nothing but problems. They held onto my drivers license and insurance card until I picked up my contacts which was weeks later. They tried to bill me twice and got angry when I would not pay the second time. Half of the contacts I ordered were free samples, labeled not for sale. The receipt that she wrote out for the Acuvue rebate was wrong, as she was not going to admit she sold me 24 packs when half were free samples. I did not get the rebate because of that. I tried to bring all this to their attention in a polite way and was met with coldness. I didn't intend to write a review, however they are now holding my contacts "hostage" and I refuse to go back to their business. read more
