I want to start off by saying the Doctor himself was VERY nice and very informative. After my exam the Dr told me that someone out front would talk to me about glasses. I then waited up front for about 5 minutes before anyone spoke to me and it was a girl behind the desk saying "do you need help" I explained that the doctor had sent me out here to talk about glasses. I haven't seen an eye doctor in 2 years and I don't currently wear glasses, so I was lost in the process I had no idea what I was doing. I asked the girls up front what I was supposed to be doing and their response was "you can look is you want" and handed me a small box for glasses I like. They were not helpful, didn't offer to help me look at lenses or even guide me on what I was doing. I ended up giving the box back bc I didn't have time to try to figure it out on my own. I sat back down and asked them for the 3rd time what I was supposed to be doing and asked them if all of the add ons for the glasses that the doctor recommended are written down somewhere. they never gave me straight answers and continued to look at me like I was dumb. I had no idea what I was doing. And their tone the whole time was very condescending towards me. I ended up leaving and I will be getting glasses somewhere else. They should really be more helpful to those who are new to the glasses thing. read more

If you're looking for a vision center or new eyewear in Myrtle Beach do yourself a favor and check out Pearl Vision on Seaboard. The customer service is pretty impressive. A pair of frames I wanted were only online and they went out of their way to ship a few styles to the store for me to try on. When I went to pick up a few days later I found a pair of Tom Fords I wanted and Matt Cravin was able to make that happen with a decent deal. They have been the most consistent in town with service and variety of eyewear. read more

The staff and doctors there are top notch, and their customer service is superior. They are fast and efficient, but you never feel rushed, and they take the time to fully answer any questions you have. The customer service provided by Matt is superior, and you won't regret choosing him to help with technical assistance (I stopped in once and he immediately repaired my glasses that got a bit out of shape in a tug of was with an 18 month old), or to ensure you get optimal value from your insurance and/or rebates. I've gone to other vision places in the area previously, but this is now my go to every time. Don't hesitate to give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

On vacation in Myrtle Beach and lost a nose pad on my eyeglass frame. Dropped into the center located near Coastal Grand Mall and was promptly greeted by a friendly young lady who took my glasses to the back and returned shortly after installing two new nose pads and refused any payment. Pearle vision is a lot of peoples favorite, I know. What you can expect: Grossly overpriced frames and eye exams. Vision works is less expensive and the staff is more personable with a huge selection of frames. So I guess this comes down to a matter of preference. read more

Boyfriend scratched his glasses pretty badly, so we called around to get it handled as quick as possible. Pearle Vision got us in in an hour. Matt was awesome, and had everything we needed in a jiff. He even reordered a replacement lens for the old frames. Today we went in to pick up the glasses, three day turn around, and everything was perfect. I brought a pair of scratched ray bans from home to see if they could be salvaged. Matt popped me in brand new lenses in ten minutes! We couldn't be more pleased with everything. Me and my husband wanted some prescription shades so we stopped by this location on a Friday around 1pm. My vision prescription at my other doctor expired so they took me right away at this location for an eye exam. The doctor was nice, thorough and fast! I loved it. Then we got some shades. They did accept my insurance. The shades came in 5 days considering the weekend. Will definetly be back. read more

Horrible.. I don't know why I wasted so many years coming here.. I kept giving them chance after chance which was my mistake. The customer service is atrocious. So unaccommodating.. I just got back from Pearle Vision and had the best experience I've had at an eye doctor. I was only there for 30 minutes for an eye exam and contacts fitting. Lost my glasses in the ocean. Called in an hour before they closed and showed up 30 minutes before they closed. They didn't have my prescription so they overnighted my prescription. They gave me a temporary pair of glasses to get me through till the next day. They were so nice and they stayed till after they closed to get me something so I could see. They wouldn't let me leave without having something it was a great place and I'm glad I went there. read more

I lost a contact while on vacation at the beach. I went to five different places for help. Lens Crafters at the mall had a trial pack, but said I would need to place an order before they could give me a trial pack. I told them I would pay for the trial pack. They said that was their policy. The other places I went didn't have the brand or size I needed. I went into Pearle Vision there and Matt went right in, got me what I needed. No Problem! There is no Pearls Vision in my town , but I highly recommend them!! read more

They Lie.. I had an appointment with Dr.Allouch , who had his own practice and is now with Pearle Vision,in Myrtle Beach , this appointment was last December. I ordered my contacts in January Jennifer his " office manager"", told me if I ordered at least six boxes of contacts I would receive a $60 gift card will that never happened. I even took my husband's information into her and she applied for the $60 gift card herself and must have kept it because I never received it. I spoke with her on this several times I've spoke with the blonde that works for dr. Alouche about my prescription being wrong and vision being blurry and all he could do for me was give me $100 off the next appointment .would not refund my contacts. Don't give me $100 off the appointment I have already overpaid for because Jennifer was too lazy to run my insurance and find out that I already had insurance and should not have paid $179 for an appointment anyhow. I received the letter saying I would get $100 off my next visit and then he discharge me and will not see me again or have me as a patient simply because I asked for my $60 gift card that I was promised and hundred dollars off an appointment since he is no longer going to have me as a patient. Didn't think it's too much to ask but apparently I'm going to have to take these guys to court for this and for punitive damages. I had to use this prescription as I cannot afford do you have another eye exam...so will have to go with my vision being a little bit better with his diagnosis then me being able to see her see clearly. I highly recommend you do not go to provision or to Dr.Allouch .as his office has lied to my husband and myself for alomost a year despite me having the letters promise to me $100 off my next appointment that I now can't have and despite having Jennifer and dr. Allouch on video tape countless times with their empty promises and lies. I cannot count the number of times they have said they would handle these situations and have handled neither to this day so it looks like court is the only option. Sad very sad I have been a customer for 5 years they've never had a problem with me nor have I had a complaint with them but when there was these problems they handled them by ignoring me read more
