He is the reason why I continue to use Lenscrafters. My issue is with one of the young female employees who did next to nothing to help my situation that I am about to explain. After returning my first pair of frames due to an ill fit, I purchased a pair of wire frames which fit much better. 7 days later I was in agony with a lump on my left ear from pressure and a red/raw blistered area on the right side of my nose. On Sunday, 8/9/26 I returned to have the nose pads adjusted. I told the young lady who approached me that I needed an adjustment. I don't believe she was listening to me as she asked my name then immediately started looking in a cabinet behind a desk for glasses with my name on them. I reiterated that I was there to have my glasses adjusted. I explained the ear issue and the nose issue. She switched out the nose pads for softer pads (again, I was hoping for an adjustment, but went along with the idea that perhaps softer pads would do the trick). I tried the glasses on and tipped my head down and the glasses were now too loose. When I explained this her comment was, "You're never gonna have it both ways." Then she walked away. Seriously. She walked away. Both my husband and I were left in shock at her rude and unprofessional comment and behavior. I left there without knowing what (if anything) was adjusted other than having the pads switched. Did she adjust the arms of the glasses? No clue! I know for a fact that the nose pads can be physically adjusted, but this was never suggested or offered to me. Did she adjust them after switching them out? Beats me because she walked away before I could ask those questions. So now I have new glasses that I still can't wear without getting a friction/pressure sore, even after applying a piece of moleskin to the pad for some cushioning. I will be making a 4th trip back to Lenscrafters in a few days when my schedule allows to hopefully find someone there knowledgeable enough and patient enough to correct this problem. In the interim I am back to wearing my old frames so that my ear and nose can heal. I sincerely wish I had gotten this individual's name; however, I can tell you that she is a 20-somethung young woman of color with curly shoulder length hair. I am only giving 1 star because she switched the nose pads.

Terrible Experience!! I first thought the were great but the follow through of their process is…read moreterrible. 1) Went for contacts exam and told them at the time that I wanted glasses as well and that I had to get those thru a special site from my employer/insurance where I got a discounted rate. I was never told that there would be an additional $50 fee to measure my pupil distance if I was not buying glasses from them and that they would not email me a prescription. 2) I got a contact lenses exam and left with a couple of pairs of contacts. (These were daily wear which the doctor just scolded me about wearing daily contacts for more than a day. ) They told me that this was all they had but would order my contacts and have them in by early the next week. This was on a Friday. I had not heard from them by Tuesday so I called Wednesday mid day and found out that they had not been ordered so the young lady said she would order them then and asked me to pay for them. I paid her for the 6 month supply and they were shipped to my house. She said they had no more samples to give me while I waited so I was rinsing the dailies out while waiting. 3) I get the box in early the next week and they were the exact same prescription that I went into the clinic with of which I still had boxes of that I could have worn if they were the right prescription still. I called the office and the person says they dont see a prescription for me and that the doctor is off and he will have her call me tomorrow. The doctor calls me the next day and asks what the issue is. I re-explain the situation and she asks like she has no clue on what I need and asked why I didnt like what I had - I told her that if the ones that I had were working, why would I come to the doctor for a new eye exam and why would she give me a different set of lenses all together? I then read off the information on the box of lenses that she gave me and she said that they would call me back regarding the new order. 4) They call me back at the end of the afternoon to tell me that they have to reorder the new prescriptions from a new company and that I have to return the old ones to them to get a refund. The new ones cost more so I agree to do that without an issue. I asked them to go ahead and order the new ones and that I would take off work and bring the new ones and pick up my eye glass prescription so I can order my glasses. She said no problem. 5) Take off work, go to the clinic, turn in the wrong boxes, pay the difference, remind them that I need my prescription as I need to order from my designated vendor per my employer/insurance plan and they print it out and give it to me. Nothing ever said about the need for me to get a pupil measurement and additional fee. 6) Now a week later I go to order my glasses and entering my prescription to find out that I have to have this measurement to get the glasses and call back and they tell me that I must come back to be measured and it is a $50 fee. This office is ridiculous, the team members don't know what they are doing, you get handed off from person to person, the manager or supervisor person is rude, and the provider does not seem to know what is happening!!! I do NOT recommend them!!!

This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had when seeing an eye doctor. I called for an appointment, and they got me in within a week. I went today and got there 20 minutes early for my appointment & was taken in early. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! The assistant (not sure of her actual title) went through numerous series of tests and set up a lot of information prior to me seeing Dr. Horn. Once the Dr. came in, she was quick, precise and answered all my questions so that I understood everything she was saying. Dr. Horn is straight forward & I appreciate that 100%, she talks to you, not at you. Next, out to pick out a pair of glasses - the woman that assisted me was friendly, again knowledgeable and walked me through different frame options. I chose a pair of Prada frames, went with anti-glare, transitions & progressive lenses. Quite frankly I was nervous about the cost, but when all said and done, the price was reasonable and she discounted the frames as I do not have insurance and was paying out of pocket. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO BEACH FAMILY EYE CARE and I'm actually looking forward to the fact they will call me next year when I'm due for a visit!! (my only regret is I forgot everyone's names that assisted me today!)
