I took an exam here recently. The location is very close to the 101 Freeway. And it is easy to find. Plenty of parking lots to choose from. The testing center is small, good for 11 test takers. They provided head phones but I didn't use it because my fellow test takers were quiet enough. The 2 proctors were very helpful, informative and nice. They were all smiles. It helped to keep me at ease. They have lockers to put in your personal stuff. For your cellphone and smart watch they put it in a small bag, then they will open it once you're done with your exam. Good. Clean. One of the men there was super warm and helpful. He made the experience a lot more calming. They are pretty on top of things. The lady said you can't wear a headband that's too thick. Just took my NCLEX exam here almost 2 weeks ago. The place was easy to find, lots of free parking. The inside of the unit was clean and well maintained. The staffs at that time were Carly at the front desk, and other staffs inside were Debbie & Patrick. They were very nice and professional but still friendly. They made me feel calm & supported for my exam. It really helped and eased my nerves I was able to finish with the minimum amount of 75 questions in a bit over 2 hours. Now I'm waiting for the letter in the mail. I recommend this testing center to everyone around SFV!! read more

This was my second time taking an exam at this location and the staff once again provided a safe, friendly, and stress free environment. Stephanie is fantastic! She was friendly and helpful from check in until check out. Patrick, who was also there the first time I took an exam with Pearson, was just as amazing this time around! He always provides a fun, professional yet personal element to the atmosphere. Both times I've tested there, he has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Michelle arrived towards the end of my exam, but she was so kind and friendly in the few interactions we had. Having a staff like Stephanie, Patrick, and Michelle makes all the difference when you're nervous. Apart from the amazing staff, the center was clean, organized, and a great temperature (I did use a sweater after sitting for a while). The testing center itself is very well insulated so you can't hear noises from outside. There is a break room and a little patio you can go out on during select times. They provide a microwave in the break room. The lockers are a good size and should easily fit any standard size purse / backpack. The restroom is close by (just down the hall), and there is tons of free parking in the lot. The staff was amazingly sweet and they were so informative about the whole testing process. The woman at the front desk has such a calming aura and made the check in process both swift and smooth. The Pearson Professional Center is located inside a large building across the Carl's Jr along Townsgate Rd off the Westlake Exit. Wow! The people that run this place are very accommodating and ensures everyone who comes to take a formal exam there to only worry about the test and not anything else :) I bet they get asked a million times the same questions that all anxiety-stricken test takers ask (Can I go to my car during my break? Can I access my personal locker? Can I go to the bathroom? Can I? CAN I?!) but they always respond in a courteous manner regardless :D Thanks for creating a stress-free environment! Pro tips: +The temperature does vary at times inside the testing center so I do suggest wearing a crewneck sweater since it is OK to do so. +Leave your cell phone in the car or in the provided personal locker just to be better safe than sorry. +They do provide a mini fridge and a microwave in the break room so feel free to bring a lunch bag and snacks ;) read more

Clean. They have a tiny toilet in the testing building. I don't have to tip-toe, it's pretty convenient. And the soap smells good. It's perfect temperature in the building. Ladies in there were friendly and professional. Purell dispensers are appropriately placed throughout the small suite. read more

I had a very pleasant experience while testing here. Easy to find location, extremely polite and kind staff, and more little things that I haven't found in a testing center. I took my GRE and CBEST at two different testing centers and they had a completely different vibe. I enjoyed my experience here so much that I changed my remaining CSET tests to this location. I knew that I would be relaxed and have a good experience. I am scheduled to go back for my next 3 tests and I know I don't have to fuss or stress out about any of my remaining tests because of my previous experience :) read more

Granted it was a fire area...Westlake CA. I worried all weekend about it being open on Monday. Pearson does not give out emails or phone numbers to check. Per their form email, I went and checked out the area the night before. All clear. All businesses in the area are open. I show up at 0730. There is a sign on the door..."Wait till 730". No one shows. At 740 I realize there are no test takers lined up behind me until one other shows up. He shows me an email he got yesterday at 1530 (Sunday, Veterans Day) saying the center will be closed. After rummaging thru my email, I find mine.There is no sign on the door explaining anything. There is a phone number on the door in case of problems. No one answers. There was no phone call, no text. Nothing else. The email does not have a phone number on it.. I can even understand cancelling. I presume one or more of their employees couldn't/wouldn't show up. Their communication is abysmal.. I get home and try the phone number again. This time, I get someone on the line. She explains to me that she is the wrong department to speak to. This is the ONLY PHONE NUMBER I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM THEM!!! These guys apparently don't need to have customer service. Don't expect any. read more

It's never fun taking a big Physics exam, but this testing center made it as pleasant as possible. Check in was fast & efficient, parking was easy, and the staff was very professional and friendly. For the noise sensitive - like me - they have disposable earplugs and noise-canceling headphones. Huge plus! They also provide a small dry erase board for notes, formulas, random scribbles, etc. The computer testing is very straightforward and easy to navigate. They also have a tutorial before you begin that covers everything. As far as scheduling the exam, in my experience their schedule had new openings each day I checked. So if your first preference date/time isn't initially available, keep checking back and chances are you will find an opening. Good luck & best wishes to everyone with an upcoming exam! read more

My son had a scheduled appointment in Westlake Village to take a paid exam many months in advance. He receives his confirmation. He studies and takes off work to attend the exam. He shows up at the scheduled time but when he arrives personnel tells him he is not on the list. They tell him they sent him a cancellation email the week prior telling him to reschedule his appointment. My son asked them to show him a copy of the email they sent. They could not do that because guess what....they never sent one in the first place. Very unprofessional. I figure they are being selective as to who comes in the center to take an exam. I smell something illegal. My son had to reschedule another appointment at a location farther away from home in Los Angeles County. read more

They have one bathroom at the end of the hallway and it's not that small, at least not for the men's one. This is a office building that has one suite for testing. So try not to schedule any exams on the weekday because the building will be buzzing around with employees which means noise, vibrations and parking lot being busy. Good luck. read more

I chose Pearson Professional Center for my PMP test on March 11 and it was a great choice I made. There is ample free parking around the testing center so parking is not an issue at all. The two gentlemen who ran the center that day were very friendly and welcoming which helped a lot when I was super stressed over my test. They answered all my questions patiently and made sure I know everything I need to know before my test. The check in process was very quick and easy. There were hand sanitizers, Clorox wipes and tissue paper available and the location was very clean and organized. I got a locker to put all my personal stuff in there during the test. I got an erasable notepad, marker, ear plug, calculator and tissue before the test. There was a noise canceling headphone on the desk with sanitary ear covers which was great. I was the first one in the office that day so I got to choose my seat. The testing room is not that big and I was worried about the noise so I used both the ear plugs and the headphones during the test and I didn't hear anything. When I was done with my test 4.5 hours later and I was escorted out I saw almost all seats were full and I didn't even realized that during the test. I was very impressed by that. The check out process was very efficient too. I got a copy of my test result which showed I passed right away so I was very happy. Overall my experience in this test center was very pleasant and I will surely use this location again in future for testing. read more
