I attended a charity golf outing on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Pebble Creek. The course was well maintained and the food provided was very good. Very nice public golf course. The greens and fairways were in good shape. Our foursome won our round here but the prices looked pretty decent. The one thing I really liked about this course was that the water hazards weren't too prevalent and it's a really good course for not losing balls. Even with a bad slice lol. The greens here are VERY challenging in my opinion. By no means am I a great golfer but compared to the other courses I've been at they were difficult. Not a complaint.....I enjoy the challenge. The employees were very nice and the pace of play was good. Only got delayed at a couple holes and not for long. Was scenic and the weather was beautiful so couldn't ask for much more. Would golf here again for sure. read more

There are a few different courses in the area and I didn't know this one was here. It says it is open to the public so not sure if it was private before. I doesn't look like a private course but it is nice. The greens are well manicured and the fairways are well kept. It is a shorter course so you won't be hitting many 5 irons as approach shots which is a good thing for my game. The course is challenging though and the price was right. The only gripe I had was the pace of play was slow. The groups in front of us were going slow and there was no ranger pushing them. Overall, a fun time! I would come back. read more

I have been a player at Pebble Creek for a long time. The improvements that have been made over the past few off seasons, have made this course the perfect outing course. Players of all skill levels can be challenged here. I have played in sold out outings, and then came to pay the next day, and the course looked as if it was never played. The World Trade Center Memorial before the 1st tee, is a reminder there are more important things in life. Ray and Staff, you are a marvel. read more

The course and the people who work there are top notch. The course is well cared for and since there are no water stations, a gentleman drives around the course giving out free bottled water. Complimentary water is also available at the turn. It is a challenging course but it also is player friendly where you can have a good round anytime. read more

This has been my fall back course for over 20 years. I don't prefer it, but if I can't get a tee time anywhere else I can always get on here.. bringing the stars up to 2. But it could be so much better with minor course management. I just played again this weekend after a long time away. To start, they don't have enough carts. So you stand around waiting for someone to return a cart so you can sit and wait for your tee time. After the starter, I never saw another employee. No ranger, no grounds crew, no beverage cart. The group in front of us was slow and dangerous. Pebble creek has some tight layouts that make it very dangerous when terrible and unsafe golfers are on the course. I will never be mad at someone for hitting an errant shot, I will be irate if they don't yell a warning. We almost died a few times without so much as a heads up. Let alone an actual fore. No where is this more prevalent than on the green at 16. Those teeing off on 17 who hit left send balls from their drivers directly at you. No fore. No sorry, just branches falling down on us and everyone ducking for cover. (this happens all the time) For a dog track, it is in great shape. But it remains a dog track until they step up the pace of play and add some employees to monitor the players on the course. You don't have to be on top of people but if players know eyes are on them, a ranger or even a cart girl, they will adhere to the courtesy rules. Our round went 4:45 due to the guys in front being terrible and playing 2-3 balls on every hole. read more

Nice course, when I played the greens were in good shape, fairways and tee boxes looked good to me. The bunkers could use a little work but overall nice course. As for the employees they are all very nice, a lot of my other golf course reviews bash the employees because they are all so rude and mean, but not here they are friendly and personable which really adds to the experience! read more

Great public course that I've played a dozen times. Went most recently on Father's Day, and although it was packed and the rangers had to keep things moving, they felt so bad about asking us to speed it up, they gave us a 6 pack, delivered to our cart. Great choice for a nice day on the links. read more

Early season golf is always a hit or miss. Played today and the course had several rough spots, but I really love the layout. The staff was excellent. I will definitely be back to get my revenge and I am sure the course will be in great shape once the weather improves. Great course for the dollar value. read more

This is a great course. The price is about on par with the course. Course is well maintained and in good shape. Staff is always friendly and attentive. The greens this spring were a little rough, which is one of the reasons I took a star off (the other being no real 19th hole, and few options near by) but that is probably to be expected this early in the season. The par 5s are challenging here as they are long with dog legs. Not many places to lose balls, but the water on the back 9 is a challenge on several holes. Great place to play several times a season, and the twilight rates in summer are very much a bargain for the quality. read more

Played here on a Saturday not too long ago...$100 for the round .....the greens were so chewed up from divot marks you couldn't roll a straight putt. Oh at the 5 hour mark, we were just getting to the 15th tee....we just left because it got to be so frustrating. Guys we're laying on the course stretching out, 3 groups waiting at a tee box while the ranger sat in his cart and did nothing to help move play. This course is as good as it gets! To play a public course in this great of shape in under 4 and a half hours is always appreciative. The course can be tough and the greens are probably some of the best I have ever seen. In my opinion there are very few if any public courses that can compete with Pebble Creek. The service is great, the price is reasonable, there are always rangers moving the pace of play, and the course is challenging. I am not really sure what else you can ask of from them. read more

Very enjoyable course to play. I've lived in the Colts Neck/Marlboro area for 40 years and play every Sunday from April to November. This course is always in great shape and the management is very polite and helpful. We also play the county courses alot. If not for the difference in fees we would be playing more often at Pebble Creek; but we understand it is a business, so at present we usually get to play here 6/8 times a season. read more

One of my favorite courses...well maintained...staff helpful...greens are true and challenging...price is right....love playing it in the early morning (31/2 hour rounds).... play the course often and plan on continuing... love playing the par 5 17th especially now that I play it forward. read more
