I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

Lots of water and ice on the course which is helpful as the temps approach a hunskie. It is a good way to break up the trip from San Antonio to Dallas since the club is less than a mile from IH 35. Bonus was the course wasn't crowded and we made it around in under 3 hours.

First thing I noted was the complete lack of ample parking. Had to park my brand new car in an un-level grass ditch. (no other option once the parking fills up) They had numbers ahead of time so, they clearly new parking would be an issue. It wasn't like there wasn't enough parking for 10-20 cars, but more like 50+. To make it worse there was no lip, so you had no choice but to drive up onto the curb. They were ushering us onto the grass so it was clearly normal. Where to begin? We were told what a great deal they got with half-priced drinks. $7 a bottle for the cheapest beer. I think not. The food was cold, not a little, but really cold and none of it was remotely appetizing. I always finish my food, not this time. Asked for water because I didn't want to pay the theme park prices, I was given warm water. Now it wasn't just warm, it tasted absolutely horrible-- could not believe it. I was quite certain they put a bittering agent in it (not sure if this is legal but I hope not). Frustrated, and unwilling to pay the prices for drinks, I went in search of a water fountain or soda machine, assuming a country club must have one. I went to a little gym area they had that was immaculately clean, smelling fresh, and they have a great big tank of water complete with lemon and such. It tasted absolutely great. I am thoroughly convinced they put a bittering agent in the water and just served up awful food. The venue should be embarrassed of the level of the service they give. I always tell individuals planning events to steer clear! Is it a good country club? Heck, it looks nice, but don't put your wedding or other event here unless you want BYOW (bring your own water!!)

This is a great park. Just so ya know there isn't a public bathroom…read more This is a city park in Crawford Texas. There is a waterfalls and a river and there is a good sized picnic area w plenty of benches. There are two sets of horseshoe pits a half basketball court and two volleyball courts. There is a nice overview of the river and falls from the bridge. According to the chamber of commerce the pavilion and or the stone tables as well as the stairs were built during the Great Depression as one of the building projects at the time. There are stairs down to the river but just a warning the steps are a bit steep and no food or drink is allowed down past the stairs. Once you get down there it really is beautiful. According to the local I talked with there today they allow swimming there in the spring if the water level is high enough. The water level changes a lot. The park has been recently renovated according to a sign that I had trouble photographing. You can see in the older pics that the foliage was becoming more overgrown and it is indeed tidier now. When the water is low supposedly there are paintings on the rocks that are hundreds of years old. There is some differences of opinion about who did the paintings. This town has a lot of history and I did read a sign that this is George W Bush's hometown. The pavilion is very nice and historical. The park is on fourth street. The address on yelp takes you to a historical plaque. Just look at the map from there and turn right at fourth and your there. Follow the green.
