She provides golf carts to get around the property which is riverfront on the Blanco River. She has grills and chairs there. She also has tubes and stuff. My favorite thing to do is fish!! They are always small but I always catch something and that is what is important to me! My first stay here was probably 8 or so years ago and I keep coming back and it never disappoints!! I called 12 RV parks in the Austin area for the week of Thanksgiving. I needed an RV hook up for a…read moreweek. Everybody was full. This place was call #13 which should have alerted me. Driving in, of course we passed it by because instead of a Blue Bell Bed & Breakfast RV park sign there is a James Burke attorney sign. We should have known that, only makes sense to NOT have an RV/Bed & Breakfast sign in front. I have posted pictures to show you what you are driving into. I swear the Deliverance theme song was playing and I got chills. Thank goodness I'm armed & trained!! There is TRASH everywhere!! Then I get to where we are supposed to park the RV and there is a 3 foot deep by 4 foot wide hole in the ground in the knee high weeds. I am told to avoid the hole. Like I was going to intentionally run my 30 foot RV into a hole in the ground. Patty was very nice but her husband, the attorney on the other hand..... let me say this, if I need to be defended on a criminal case I will not call him. He has a certain way he wants the hole filled which my husband proceeds to do as we don't want to spend our vacay filling holes. Then his employee comes out of a nearby trailer, with a softball size hole in the crotch of his jeans. He is wearing no underwear and his man dangles are freely dangling out of the hole at times. DO YOU NOT FEEL THE BREEZE ON YOUR BAWLS?!?!? Oh My God, don't you know I'm on the phone & maps desperately trying to find a different RV spot now. No success, I'm stuck. We are pretty "go with the flow" but dayum! The photos will speak for themselves. Oh, yeah, the bed & breakfast is in the airplane hangar downstairs, they (along with 3 huge dogs) live upstairs except for the kitchen which is downstairs and if you have to do laundry you have to go into their bedroom. A horse lives in the front yard. Another resident gave me that morsel of info as well as telling me that he originally had the place full of alcoholics and drug addicts which was in evidence from the meth baggies we found in the weeds. They stole him blind it so didn't work out for him. All of the campers you see except two are vacant. So by all means, stay here if you don't mind wading through dog and horse crap, calf high weeds, trash &meth baggies, flies, and a crusty attorney who starts up the mower just to mow 2 swaths and baptise your butt with dust & weeds. The area it is in is gorgeous and was not expecting to feel like I was in a different world. Appetizers that were supplied for the wedding were great, but I thought the main meal was kind of lacking and kind of inconsistent. I understand it's hard to cater for that many guests though. Most staff were pleasant and welcoming but had a couple of experiences where we felt very rushed and herded around the property. We arrived at 7:32. When our party of four arrived, we were told there was no table for us. Even though there were two tables available in the dining room. We were told that those tables were reserved for someone else and we could not sit at that table. We were told that it was another reservation for 730. We were not offered any accommodation, even though there were four barstools at the bar open, except to sit outside on the patio in the 90° heat. We refused and decided to find a different place to eat. It was very shocking that they treated us in this manner as I have been a guest at the Wayback multiple times and never had this experience. It was almost like it was a prank. We went back to the car to find another restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. While we are making arrangements for that, I realized that I had paid $25 for this reservation that they were not honoring and I wanted to make sure I requested that be returned. I went back into the dining room at 7:50 and the table for four that they refused to sit us at was still available. Amy, the young lady who said she was "like a manager", treated us as though we had done something wrong. When I went back in and requested my $25 back from her she made some comment regarding my refund tied to whether we gave them a bad review for the incident (one of my friends as we walked out of the dining room, said she would be leaving a review). I called the main number the following day and spoke with Vicky. Vicky told me she wanted to look into the situation and figure out what had happened. I told her the intention of my call was to get my the deposit refunded. She called me back a few hours later explaining it was their fault. She said that there was another person in the restaurant that had my same name and they wanted to move from the patio to the dining room and the staff gave away our reservation to that party. Understandable. She was apologetic and told me she would take care of the refund and also offered to send me $50 gift card through Toast. I'm not even really sure how that works or what that is, but I really just wanted to close out the whole deal. No refund or Gift Card ever showed up. I know sometimes that can take a little bit of time so I waited until the 25th and called back. No one answered. I left a message and did not get a returned call. I called again at about 11 AM on the 26th again no answer. I did not leave another message. I called again around 4pm. Amy, the young lady we dealt with on the evening of the event, answered the phone. She said the people in the office had already left for the day and she would take my phone number and name and somebody would call me on Monday. She called me back about 30 minutes later telling me she needed the card number that the reservation was made under. I didn't really feel comfortable giving that to her so I just said I would wait to hear from the office staff on Monday. Well no one called on Monday. No one called on Tuesday either. I called in on Wednesday and spoke with Vicky again. She said she had gone out of town and doesn't know why the refund was not taken care of. She said she was needed some time to look into it. I asked her to call me back when she had some resolution. I did not hear back from Vicky but today I got an email from toast that a $25 refund to my credit card had been run.... and I never provided my card number to have that refund issued. I do not take any pleasure in writing a bad review for a business. I waited to write this review until there had been full resolution so I gave them plenty of opportunities to communicate clearly and make this situation right. It kept getting fumbled which leaves me with the impression that they don't care about customer service.

02 Apr 2023…read more Reluctantly we go home today. Our two-day stay has been idyllic. This is the word that sums up this bed and breakfast. As stated before, the owners are nice, perfect hosts. They are welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts are better than even those in the best restaurants. The selection of Keurig coffees is ten-fold. But it is the tranquility that makes it so hard to leave. Sitting on the back yard river decks, we saw hawks, cardinals, sparrows, pigeons, ducks, herrings, humming birds and woodpeckers. Someone's herd of cows comes down to the river to drink and then return home. Also, kayakers row by and wave to you. Taking in the sunrises and sunsets almost made us regret living in the city. They are so beautiful at the Perry River House. Go there.

I…read morewas unsure if they had any sort of "kids under 2 are free" type policy, so I wasn't sure if my 22-month-old counted as part of our two, but the website said you could pay $10 for additional people when you're at the farm, so I did not worry about it. We weren't charged more at the farm, but still not sure what the official policy is. My husband, I, our toddler, and newborn went on a Saturday morning and had the place to ourselves. You book in advance on the website, and the self-guided tour is booked for 45 minutes. We saw a cow, alpaca, their famed mini-highland cow, chickens, dogs, ducks, a pig, baby (or small) goats, geese, an emu, and rabbits. The geese were a bit aggressive, but Renee put them away for us, which was much appreciated. The alpaca and ducks didn't want much to do with us, but the emu, goats, dogs, and pig were all very friendly. The cow was also very chill and didn't mind us petting him, but wasn't enthusiastic about our presence. I was a little freaked out by the emu, Lulu, but Renee assured us that she was curious but harmless and by the end we were all great friends. Some things to know: do not wear your best shoes. There are, understandably, animal droppings everywhere. There is a walking path from where you park to where you pet the animals, but the animal area is not stroller-friendly. Also, the goats may try to eat your stroller, which can't be good for them. I just baby-wore, and that worked great for us; we'll plan to do that from the start next time. The instructions say to park and then walk up to the big red barn. There were two red barns and nobody at either of them, so we weren't entirely sure if we needed to check-in or something. We also weren't sure if we could just start petting the animals we saw or if there was a specific place we were supposed to be. Renee came out after we'd been there about 10 minutes and chatted for a bit, but having someone greet us and tell us where to start, or at least some clear signage, would have given this the 5th star.

We love Renee, the farm, all of the animals and the guest houses. We stayed overnight with an 8…read moremonth old- there's plenty of room and it's perfect for exactly what it is. Not only is the house beautiful, the interior of the house is warm and inviting. Our room was spacious and relaxing. Our bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed. (In a very good way). The house has a great backyard, with plenty of mature pecan trees that provides plenty of shade so you can sit outside and relax. The property has beautiful landscaping, and really helps you decompress. Danni and Mark manage the B&B, and they live on site. Danni is very friendly and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is is having a great experience. Danni creates some of the best breakfasts that we have ever had, and her creations could be on any fine dining menu. We met Jeannie, the owner, and she was very nice. We also met some great guests, and one couple lives near us. We really connected and we will be going to lunch with them in two weeks. We will definitely go back and visit on our next trip to Georgetown.

The clawed tub is very charming that will whisk you away back in time. You'll definitely get a great night's sleep on the bed because it is very comfortable. We've had the pleasure of meeting Jason, Katie, and Neil the owner and they've made us feel like family while here. When you stay here you definitely have to check out the Shed restaurant and Alexander's. The food at the Shed is exceptional we did the sampler plate, burgers, and cheese curds. They were great. You'll also want to eat at Alexander's on the property at the Inn as the food is phenomenal. We did the beef tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection along with the crab cakes and autumn bread pudding! If you're not staying at the Inn on the Creek you're missing out. Breakfast in the morning was stellar as well the atmosphere and people have been great. We definitely tip our hats off to all of the staff we've seen, and those working behind the scenes.
