Shady company! Stay away!! Bought a new construction home and Lone Star was used to drill the well…read more We have never had enough pressure to water our lawn. The pressure is not what it should be. Called Lone Star out to inspect the problem multiple times. The response was "nothing is wrong we drill the best wells in Texas" That was a load of shi* Paid for two different well companies for a second opinion and to inspect the issue since Lone Star treated us like we didn't know what we are talking about. Turns out Lone Star was paid to put a certain pressure tank in. They put in a cheaper lower pressure tank that wasn't providing enough pressure and pocketed the extra money they were given by the construction company. This business is shady!!

A technician came out late in the day and then called me in the evening (only after I called during the day and left a voicemail asking for an update) to tell me that I needed an entirely new well. Luckly for me, I decided to get a second opinion. The next company came out within 2 hours of calling them and it turned out to only be a filter that was clogged. That company clean the filter and everything is now working properly. I don't know if it was dishonestly or lack of knowledge but either way I'm very disappointed in Peck.

Mitchell replaced the damaged pressure switch and controller and, to make sure it didn't happen again, he encased the wires in flexible tubing. He had my water flowing again less than three hours after I called. Excellent work and customer service.

I called Watts and left a message. Here's their reply. "Hey Bill, this is Tyler over here at Watts Drilling just calling to talk to you about your no water situation and kind of give you an idea that we're pretty booked up for the forseeable future. So I was going to try to help you maybe over the phone, but suggest that you try to get somebody else out there to help you with fixing the problem. Thanks. Bye." So, that's what we did. And, that's what we'll do going forward. Established customer. No water. Three miles to the location. I actually called them back and asked for a recommendation. They suggested Google.

We've been having some water pressure and well problems for the year since we bought our house, but…read moreover the past weekend we reached a critical "if-the-outside-hose/washing machine/dishwasher/shower-is-on-we-have-no-water-in-the-house" point. I called this afternoon at 5 p.m. and Tim Watts answered the phone. He stopped by on his way home, looked at the pumps and filter in my well house, explained a LOT (physics/geology), and then recommended a fix by referring me to someone at another company. On top of that, he didn't charge me for the visit. While I can't guarantee he wouldn't charge for other service calls, he's my go-to well guy as a result of this single visit. I can't recommend Watts Drilling highly enough...a breath of honest fresh air in a business where it's easy to shower a customer with platitudes!!! Thanks so much, Tim!!
