We have had a problem with our hot water heater for awhile now; it is 13 years old. I called Kenny's plumbing (I have used them before). We scheduled an appointment, Matt came out assessed the problem. We talked about solutions and ordered a new hot water heater. My wife and I were on a time constraint, due to leaving on a cruise if a few days. Kenny's plumbing received the hot water heater, juggled the schedule and had the new hot water heater installed prior to us leaving on the cruise. Also we had to have the mixing valve replaced, they ordered that and Matt came out and replaced that the day after we came back from the cruise on his day off, they were closed for the long Christmas weekend. In my experience with less than stellar and reliable trades in Sedona, Kenny and his son Matt have restored my faith that there are still good, honest, reliable, hardworking folks that can get the job done right at a fair price. They rerouted some unnecessary 90 degree turns on kitchen drain line to free up clog and also snaked and plunged the line. First visit for emergency drain clean and diagnostic was only $75. Work to reroute plumbing, drain clearing, install new sprayer nozzle $315. Very prompt and on-time. Also investigated a small booster system to get our pressure to where it should be. Now if they only did electrical,, handyman, carpet cleaning, etc.!!! read more

Our water heater stopped working on a Tuesday evening. We left a message with Kenny's Plumbing. They got back to us the next morning and got a plumber to us about 1:00 pm. By mid-afternoon, the heater the was working, and another task we also wanted to get fixed was done. The work was very high quality and conscientious. He did more work than he actually needed to do because that was the "right" way to do it. He also suggested some maintenance we could do ourselves to help prevent this problem from re-occurring in the future. And on top of that, the bill was very reasonable. I was very pleased with Kenny's Plumbing. The whole team was knowledgeable and friendly. From my understanding, Janice oversees the details and scheduling. Kenny and his sons do the work. The guys arrived at my place on time, as promised. They got right to work; explained everything to me, and gave me some options on next-steps. Dealing with Kenny's Plumbing and their entire staff was one of the most pleasant experiences ever. Although this was a home warranty repair, so it was not a company I chose myself, from the initial contact to the installation of a new water heater, the service and work was exemplary and second to none. This water heater had to be replaced and the office took extra time to find one that was the exact dimension that would fit in the space allowed. All the other reviewers are right, Kenny's Plumbing is just the kind of business you want. Everyone was great. Excellent, professional service and results, and honestly nice, kind people. We've needed them twice. The first time was to find an outside water leak. We were so impressed at how Kenny quickly found and stopped the leak. The second time was a hot water heater leak that soaked a wall. Even though this was during the holidays, they took care of the problem and thoughtfully added safeguards so it won't happen again. They did a superb job of installing, checking water pressures and full operation of all faucets in the house.
