ANIMALS ARE ALL GONE!! Employees aren't very nice whenever we've came but todays trip really fell short. the market is just repackaged bulk candy and figurines for sale like always. However, previously they had a huge expansive petting zoo with many different animals that you could interact with from goats to donkeys to geese and chickens. Disappointingly, when we arrived today excited to experience the petting zoo we went outside to discover it was *all* gone. not a single pen left besides a koi fish pond. All that's there now is more figurines for sale on top of their sandy ground. Honestly the most disappointing end to a trip. read more

We went here to see the animals but they are no longer there besides the Coy fish pond. Lots of metal animal sculptures, which are pretty cool to see but the place is run down. My 5 year old ran up to a sculpture to touch it and there were nettles all around it. Nothing is cleaned up and it is very run down. I wanted to buy some of the candy but I honestly was scared to because I had no idea how long it had been there. Very sad and unfortunate, this could be a great day trip for families to visit. There is great potential, just needs to find the right person to clean it up it sounds like. read more

Bought two watermelons there, one for a friend. Cut mine and it was rotten!! I called my friend who then cut his and lo and behold it was rotten as well I called and was told they had a no return policy. I had bought them less than an hour ago. I was told the owner would call and he never did. Looks as though Peck's believes they have the right to sell rotten food. read more

Pleasant surprise. Loved seeing piglets, baby goats, baby llamas, friendly donkeys, and little chicks. Great roomy setup. Local jams, veggies, sweets, pastries to purchase. Spent almost an hour here. 25 cents for feed or $1 for feed in an ice cream cone. read more

Me my wife my four year old and my two month old went to pecks had a few questions for the owner extremely rude. Then I went out to my truck to get some quarters so we could get some feed when I came back my wife had told me while she was cooling off my two month old, not to mention it's 91° out that she was told not to do that we will definitely never be returning again and for anybody who is reading this do not go go to the other pecks it's smaller sure, but you get more feed for your buck and the people are extremely friendly read more

Wish I could rate zero stars. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. We arrived and the individual at the counter was cold and unfriendly upon entry, but we dismissed this. We were in a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and had purchased food to feed the animals. When entering the park, the owner shoved the door in two of the adults faces saying we aren't allowed to enter the park unless we buy something. We stated that we were with the other adults in the front of the group, so she let us in. As we walked thru the park it was very clear they do not care for these animals; there was a mini horse with eye infections that appeared sick and uncomfortable, the geese have their wings clipped so that they can't fly and they also don't have access to nearly enough water for that number of geese, the bunnies had no heat source were just locked in a dirt pit, they mated turkeys with ducks which were also clearly unhealthy, and the sheep were so overgrown that could hardly see or walk comfortably. On top of all this, all the animals are living in large amounts of their own waste and have no access to water, and it's unclear whether or not they get fed outside of visitor feeding. At the end of our trip, we had a member of the group use the restroom off the park grounds in a wooded area. Since there was no public restroom available and we had traveled to come here, we were unsure what else to do considering it was urgent. The owner began screaming, asking what we were doing. We told her honestly and politely, and apologized if this was not okay. She screamed at the top of her lungs that we are f****** trash, and that she's been "holding it in for 30 years" and that we should have gone before leaving home (which we had done, and we had also asked to use the restroom upon arrival). She shouted that we are no longer welcome and that we need to "get out immediately." We had a 2 year old, removed from this situation, who was playing on the train and she screamed at us to "get your kid OFF the train NOW," and proceeded to raise her voice (didn't think it could get louder) hustling us back inside and threatening to have the police forcibly remove us, all the while calling us trash (after having spent money at her establishment and remaining very respectful the entire time). As we were leaving, she shouted to one of the employees to "go get Brad!!!!" It makes me wonder what 'Brad' would have done to us because we weren't moving as quickly as she was trying to force us..... I would not recommend anyone visit this place. Aside from the disgusting employee/owner scenario, you don't want to see these animals unless you are giving your children a lesson in animal abuse. This establishment either needs to be shut down and these animals put out of their misery, or the owners consider caring for the animals. read more

ATTENTION! DO NOT GO TO PECK'S WEST LOCATION! WOW! I have never been treated so rudely by a business owner in my life! Due to my mistaken assumption that animal food purchased at Peck's East would be permitted at Peck's West, my child was physically grabbed by the business owner! She then proceeded to threaten to throw us out, even after I explained that I assumed both Peck's were owned by the same people (news flash: they're not). I cooperated by taking the bag of animal food back to my car. When we attempted to re-enter without the bag, we were again physically stopped by another employee who said, "You're not allowed to bring feed in here!" That was the last straw. We left and we will not be back. It's a shame really, as previous to this visit I had been taking my boy there for 10 years. read more

DO NOT GO TO PECKS WEST! Pecks east is great which is not owned by the same person as pecks west. As we walked in we got literally screamed at for my son finishing his small bag of popcorn from pecks east. She yelled saying there are no carry-ins which is fine. We tried finding the garbage to throw it away in which the owner screaming at us that she doesn't want our trash here and to go put our garbage in our car. My son and husband went to put it in the car while the rest of our group started walking to the farm. The lady closely next us still yelling and then slamming her hand on the glass saying "you can't see my animals unless you have bought something, clearly you don't know how to read, get out if you can't follow the rules, etc." On and on and on. Needless to say, we left. Clearly she does not care if she has business as we would have spent a great deal of money there. Never have I seen such disrespect and rudeness and especially to children. I will never give business to a place that mocks and berates a child. My 5 year old picked up trash off the ground and ended up finding a quarter. So I let him keep it. Well an older lady (who turned out to be the owner) saw and came out and called my 5 year old a thief and told me I was cheap for not giving him a quarter of my own. Tells us to leave all while calling him a thief. He tried to tell her he found it on the ground (he has a speech impairment) and she mocked him and kept telling us to leave (while we are walking out of the store). I didn't think a child would get punished for picking up trash and just so happened to find a quarter too?! read more

There are actually 2 Peck's Farm Markets, and they are only a couple of miles apart. They are each different, though, so we try to go to both of them when we are in the area. The main reason that we go to both is to see the different animals, although their merchandise and produce varies slightly between the two locations as well. They have the greatest produce, as well as cheese curds, baked goods, pop corn, salsa, various kinds of jellies and jams, as well as some gift items. You can also take a wagon ride, pet some goats and other animals, tour a corn maze (if you are there in the fall), and go through a very small haunted house if you are there in October. We love this place, so I'm sure we will continue to go here as much as we can. We usually go at least once a year (and it's quite a drive for us). It's totally worth it, though! read more

Incredibly rude and inconsiderate. My wife and I drove over an hour with our 3 year old and 6 month old to get here. We tried to bring in our stroller and we're told we can't. Which was unfortunate, but we calmly complied. While putting the stroller back in the car, my wife changed my 6 month olds diaper. When we tried to re-enter, we were stopped again, because you "can't carry in trash". Even as ridiculous as that seemed, I politely asked what I should do with the diaper if I wasn't allowed to throw it in a trash can that was 10 steps away. The employee didn't even give me an answer, she just said "if you can't follow the rules, then get out". I explained that i wasn't trying to break rules, but wanted to know what to do. We never got an answer.. yet were kicked out with my 3 year old daughter in tears. Three others that were near us saw the interaction and also left, apologizing to our daughter, and telling us in the parking lot that they would refuse to give a place like this their business. Before leaving a negative review, I called to talk with a manager to tell them my experience... they were completely uninterested in anything other than complaining about how COVID-19 has made the general public take advantage of their facilities.. only offering a token apology after asking them if that was really how the situation should have been handled. Was kicked out and banned from Peck's Market West, with threats of calling the police on us today, because I was looking at their tractor-train, trying to see what kind of engine it had. There zero signs saying "do not touch", and it was parked in an accessible location, without any fencing or anything discouraging access. A woman came out and snapped at me "that's not a toy for you to play on!" I responded politely that I was just looking. She then told me it was not to be looked at. When I asked why it was sitting there, amongst exhibits and their petting zoo, if it was not supposed to be looked at, she told me I had to leave. I went to get my significant other, who was off feeding the goats with feed that I paid for on site, and the woman came back with 3 muscular men and took pictures and videos of me like I was a criminal. I had already bought stuff from their shop, but apparently I was still being forced to leave. When I tried to ask why asking questions about their train was wrong, the woman (was informed she was the owner), screamed at me that I was to leave and never come back or she'd call the police. Now we're home, feeling hurt and cheated, wondering why we were treated so poorly. I would love a refund for the food we bought, but we opened them and ate some. But I don't want her to have my business. read more

All SORTS of animals to feed! Goats, baby piggies, chickens, ponies, donkeys, prairie dogs, sheep, birds, fish. You can buy food and spend an hour feeding and petting all these animals. They also have a huge shop with the best tasting blueberries ever. read more

Today my wife took our two small girls to this Peck's location to feed the animals and buy some fresh produce. The owner chewed her out for allegedly bringing in her own corn to feed the animals rather than buy the corn on site. Is that a problem they routinely have, with hoodlums bringing in their own home made dried corn and eating away at profits? Doubtful. Who publicly humiliates a young woman and her children over such baseless accusations? I understand not letting people bring food to give the animals, but where and why would a person bring dried corn rather than spend a quarter to get a decent handful there? Note to rude lady at the counter, if you have something rude to say try not to do it in front of kids. Her attitude and language that she used scared the crap out of my grandkids and I wasn't to keen on it either. Yelling at us that we aren't allowed to bring outside food into the animal area, which we weren't planning on it. Only this includes not bringing in water as well, which is quite ridiculous when it's 85 degrees and sunny out. Then threatening us with a lifetime ban from the place because of a bottle of water. You have something to say, I get it, but there is no need for foul language and yelling. If people aren't allowed outside food and water in the animal area, that should mean "everyone" including employees as well. We will continue to go to Peck's Market East, like we have always done in the past. My grandkids and I have decided to ban ourselves from a lifetime of abuse from this place. read more

Went to the West Peck's Farms for a little stop before we head to Richland Center. I have a traumatic brain injury, PTSD and severe anxiety. I suffer from seizures and pass outs. I have a Service Dog Hemi who alerts for my seizures, pass outs and my PTSD. He also does heavy mobility so I don't go falling everywhere. These people were really rude to us about my service dog and kept telling me about diseases and the USDA. And how many fake Service Dogs they have had. I've been to two zoos and never had a problem. But these people were just plain rude and tried kicking me out BC of my SD. Yes theirs a big sign saying no dogs but Service Dogs aren't pets it's medical equipment. That's like asking people in wheelchairs they can't come in. You will be reported to the ADA of Wisconsin. read more

I had my grandchildren here from Stoughton and my girlfriend and I thought it would be fun to take them for a picnic lunch and let them play and feed the animals at Peck's farm west. So we met at 12:30 on Thurs. 23rd. and proceeded to eat our lunch. I had a sandwich bag with trash in it and proceeded to throw it in the trash can. (their were trash cans for trash,plastic, and aluminum). A lady and man came out of the building and the lady comes up to me and says what gives me the right to throw trash away there without making a purchase. How do I think they keep their business going? She said from now on no one will be able to bring picnic lunches in. She then turned and went back into the building. I looked at my girlfriend and said what just happened here? I then proceeded inside to talk to the lady and explained we were going to buy produce when we left. I said their are no signs on the garbage cans to take your trash with you. In fact they make money off the aluminum cans that are left. I said I would of gladly taken the bag out if she would of politely came out and asked me to instead of being so rude. Iasked if she was the owner and she said "yes I am" and I'm not talking to you any more and that I could just leave. The man then was telling me people come and just drop garbage off there. I said I understood what he was saying but that she had no right doing what she did. He said their would be signs put up and that I should leave now. So our great day didn't turn out to be a very great day for the grandkids. So we decided to try Peck's East. Definately not owned by the same people. Very Friendly atmosphere. We fed the animals, bought our produce and made our day great. Employee's were awesome and produce was outstanding. Skip West and head to the East Peck's for a great day. read more

DON'T YOU DARE INSPECT THE CORN!! I stopped to pick up a couple ears of corn, as I have for years. I always peel back the tips to make sure the kernels are not wormy, dried, or otherwise damaged. I smooth the husk back over the ends of the ones I don't want. I picked one ear, was going through some others when a blond woman on the other side of the cart said without warning "that's it, you're done!" She said I was stripping the corn and ruining it for everyone else. I told her I was just checking the ends, and I don't buy corn without checking it (duh). She repeated herself. My husband told her how idiotic it was to buy something without inspecting it. She herself then picked up an ear, stripped the husk completely down one side (which is not what I was doing, all I did was peel back enough husk to peek at the end of the cob), and said that's ruining the corn. She actually told us "you don't deserve corn!" SHE stripped an ear herself while she was having her tantrum. Crazy! I had one ear in a bag and started to go to pay for it. After she pulled that stunt, I tossed it on top of the corn pile, left, and said we would not be back. She said "good!" I have bought a lot of goods at a lot of places over the years, and have never encountered such bizarre behavior in a supposed "customer service" person. Don't know who she was, if she was off her meds or what, and I don't care. Her reaction was unbalanced, way over the top, and I will tell everyone I know of her disgusting behavior. Some guy standing around started to take her side, I guess they share the same condition. read more

My husband, grandson, and I toured Pecks west. We had fun looking at everything. Our fun stopped when we saw a starved calf. You could count each bone. There was no food available to him. We reported it to the lady at the desk. Her response was, get out and don't come back. We felt so bad. After checking later we see the calf has been removed . Hopefully our unpleasent day helped make the calves day a little better. read more

The good news is they are not affiliated with Pecks East which is wonderful. I made my first visit to Pecks West today with my 4 and 3 year old. I was approached by the owners son and yelled at with no apologies. He forgot to close a section of the farm once a school left. Me and another family was not aware it was a closed area and Mike Peck approached. He admitted it was his fault and then treated us badly. I indicated we were leaving the area and he did not need to treat us this way in response he asked if I wanted me to have me treat me rude and screamed get out. I mean screamed infront of a 4 and 3 years old. This is not a place I would bring children. I discussed with other employees and their response was that we should not have entered an area that was closed. Again Mike admitted he did not close it. Additionally Pecks West is a glorified play ground. Pecks east is more the pumpkin farm you are looking for. I have never been treated this badly. read more
