From what I understand you can rent this location for events, to sleep in, and it is used as a venue for Art Galleries as well. The layout is spaced out and the decor is refreshing. It is definitely different and a great place to hold events. The outside garden/backyard area is great to have an outside bar and goes well with the inside vibe. I am not sure about the process on how to rent this location, being I was just a guest. However, it looks family oriented and easy to work with. I am excited to visit Wynwood Lab again the next time I am in Wynwood or thinking about having an event.

As we toured the gardens, I could see the road we came in on as it continued past some areas of the garden, and by 3 p.m. it was packed with cars at a crawl. So come early? The facility has ample parking on site. There is a main building that houses the gift shop, ticket counter, and a very small cafe. The gardens spread out behind it. Our tickets were free thanks to a Horticultural Society membership that my wife got. If you know that you'll be visiting at least a couple of sites like this within a year, it is worth checking on this to save some money on entry fees. There are paved paths throughout the gardens. You can walk the entire property, but they also offer hourly tram tours. We opted to do the tram first, and I think this is definitely the way to go. You can get a 1-hour overview of all the areas and then decide what to re-visit on foot afterwards. The focus of the gardens is tropical plants, though they have some other varieties as well. Our guide on the tram tour was quite good. He provide a historical overview and highlighted specific plants and architectural design choices as we drove around. Afterwards, we checked out the butterfly house and a few adjoining buildings. We also revisited areas with particularly nice views. My wife wanted to track down some Egyptian geese and also iguanas, both of which we'd seen on the tour. We were able to find both without too much effort. We probably spent 2.5 - 3 hours here. I enjoyed this more than I expected, and if you have any interest in landscape design or botanical gardens, this is a very worthwhile stop near Miami.

I don't remember the name of the DJ we saw when I was there, but it was a popular one and the grassy area in front of the stage got more and more crowded as the night progressed, but it was the most comfortable I had felt of all the bars I had been to in Miami previously, where I was getting lots of stares and felt like my personal space was being invaded at all times. It was refreshing to just be, and not feel the need to be hyper vigilant at all times. We had a great view of the light show even from where we were way in the back. There were also food trucks and a couple of bar areas where drinks were easy to pick up. Glad to have found this little music oasis away from the bro-y bar vibes I had experienced elsewhere.

When I got to the area, I went to the SuperFlight area and two guys led me to their office, which is on the 2nd floor. The office was very clean and organized. I was told to sign the electronic waiver on a touchscreen laptop by the door. After my friends showed up, they signed their waivers and we paid. We got the flight package deal of 12 minutes and split amongst all of us. We watched an introduction video about keeping our legs straight/bent, keeping our chins up, and relaxing, and safety tips. Then Juris showed us how to do the positions on a table. We were given blue or purple flight suits, disposable hair nets, disposable ear plugs, flexible safety goggles, and helmets to wear and put on. They provided lockers for our belongings. They also have shoes if you don't have closed toe approved shoes. Then we were walked to the SuperFlight outdoor wind vertical tunnel. Juris helped us take photos and then proceeded with flying. Matiss was controlling the wind speed while Juris was helping us fly. He was very respectful and used hand gestures to let us know what to do. We were able to take pictures on the side. It was a great experience! My back was pretty sore but it was because I worked out a lot the day before. But it was breathtaking being up in the air and looking at the surroundings. The flying part was awesome! It happened so quick though. The 2 minutes and few seconds flew by. Everyone including Felipe were so nice and helpful! You can purchase their videos of you flying if you want. Tips are also appreciated so bring cash! I suggest stretching before flying if you don't regularly work out.
