Dr Luz Pages is the best pediatric medical professional I've ever visited (and I visit a lot..), and I am forever grateful for her wisdom, experience and warmth, particularly in the Asthma and ADHD condition. My son and daughter feel comfortable with her and she don't push on vaccines and that's the another great reason. The office is super convenient, remodeled and very clean. The wait time is sometimes long but everyone is very nice. They have evening hours so I don't have to go to the Urgent Care if something comes up during the day. Every visit feels the same -- long waits with no regard for appointment times. What's the point of scheduling if you're going to wait 45 minutes or more to be seen? I like my doctor but I absolutely despise how the practice is run. It's a business with non-existent customer service. You can never speak to anyone at your local office, they only have answering service with clueless and useless reps who have no idea about anything at all. Why have it at all? I can't tell you how much time I waster with them since my baby was born. Good luck with resolving a billing error - nobody will pick up the phone, you'll never get through their answering service and you can't leave a voicemail after spending 40 mins waiting on the phone. The wait times at the office are also super long, which is especially frustrating if you have a newborn. They also charge you an extra $150 for "after-hours appointment in addition to a COPAYMENT and in addition to the insurance payment they receive. I have no idea why they don't get the credit they deserve! I LOVE THIS LOCATION, above all of the pediatric associates locations I've had to visit. I have 6 children coming to this office since they were born. I feel so confident when I call with any concern and they are as concerned as I am. if it merits a specialist visit, it's done. labs, etc. The doctors give you the time of day to listen to your concerns and to address them appropriately. luckily they are affiliated with most specialists and when you access the portal for anything you need, you have it at the tip of your fingers. I don't know why people complain about wait times, phone wait times etc. Everywhere you call, you have wait times! Every doctors office you visit now a days, you have wait times! That's just how it is. But they move very fast and organized in this location. I never have a long wait. Just sit down and look at the beautiful view of the beach and relax. You have a great system when you can do the tele doc and not even go into the office. I do all labs in house. I leave with all of my forms before leaving the office. When my youngest child was born, he was a premie in the middle of the COVID pandemic. I couldn't even find formula. So here's the deal - this location is either poorly run, or understaffed, and I can't figure out which one it is. I would not recommend going here, and am thinking about switching practices. I've been here multiple times and each time the visit takes at least 2 hours, usually 3. Today I waited with my one year old for an hour in the waiting room and another 45 minutes to be seen. By the time the doctor examined her she was tired and hungry and had been there for 2 hours already. Not fun. To top it off I felt like our doctor was scattered at our visit and rushing through it. I also think it's really inefficient that you can't call the practice directly - this wasn't the case with our old pediatrician and it's not customer centered at all. I can't call my doctor and leave a message and have him call me back. You call some crap 1800 number that's like the answering center - wait on hold because this is also understaffed, then leave a message and hope for the best. I'm pretty angry that my daughter had to spend her whole morning here. It shouldn't take you 3 hours for a routine well child visit that was scheduled weeks in advance. read more

The doctors are great and competent. We also like the facility itself with nice colorful walls and great views from some of the rooms. What is really annoying and almost unacceptable are the long waiting times. At our last three visits it took between 75 and 90 minutes until we saw our doctor! I had my twins been seeing at this location for more than 2 years @ 4308 in Miami Beach . I have never really had any issues with anyone . However lately the service provided to my kids is being a nightmare. My twin daughter have a F/u with an Endrocronologist, I have the referral however my child needs to do a bone age prior the follow up appt. Is been more than 5 days calling this location or call center to please get a referral or a authorization for my child . I was scheduled 2 for a teleaahth visit and wow the appt was for 620 pm and NO one came to chat to speak to me, once I began sending messages letting them know how unprofessional they all are. Someone called me to lmk and Dr will help me lol I water for almost 20 minutes until finally the Dr came on the live appt. I once again explained all that I have said over and over to so many people. For the Dr tp tell me oh no we can't give you a referral?? What do you mean? I called the Endrocronologist doctor at Nicklaus hospital and was told YES my child Pcp must provide me with a referral. Well my child appt is 11/8 and today is 11/7 I called again this morning. Because I have not received anything from P A and I was placed on for 21 minutes and no one came back to assist me . Incompetent at is best . I regret so much trusting P A . Forms were not even completed for school.... we had to print and fill them out ourselves as they only had a signature in place. this is the worst practice in the United States and probably the world! my 7 month old baby is Ill and they are refusing to see him because they are claiming that there are unpaid bills. I spoke to my insurance company and they have confirmed with me that all bills were paid. The worst service in kids service I hate bringing my son in this office because a lot of people come in and gets service a lot of faster and I've been waiting for like an hour and a half. I much prefer the Causeway in North Miami my son is sick with stomach aches and a fever and still I call for appointment at 11am and it's like a half hour. It's so unfortunate because the doctors and staff are great , especially my doctor Dr.Daniela Arroyo. I've had to get an ultrasound for my 5month old daughter head , I got an appointment the very next day at A pediatric hospital the tech advise they were sending it the same day . I also called later that after since it was 7am appointment that it was sent to the doctor. It's been it 4days to get in touch someone , due to the volume of calls the call center is either understaffed or not well organized. I get a call back stating not to worry that they will advise when they get the results. Which I almost lost my cool, and asked to speak to a supervisor which apparently they don't have , they then provide me the same # I've been try to reach someone at and get the return call from the call center. There was no type of urgency to empathy or understanding this is evolving someone's a child at that head . Terrible. Worst. Do not recommend. I had a cast put on a year ago and I needed a referral to put on a cast. I had an x-ray taken and I had a closed salter-Harris type III physeal fracture. This was the most awful experience. I made a 5:10 appointment and waited until 6:15 when a nurse told me the doctor would be seeing another patient and then my son. When I explained that I only wanted a strep test, she said that they don't do any testing of any kind after 4:00. Why do they allow children to wait in an office to see a doctor when they can't do a strep or flu or test of any kind? The worst they send us home w a new born within hours we had to go back to NICU. $30000later we were blessed to get a great peditrician at miami children's hospital and a an amazing neonatologist that explained everything during our week long stay at the hospital. I really like the location and decor. They need to install a megaphone to call the patients in the waiting room. I have taken my son twice in the last month for different issues. My son and I really feel comfortable with Dr. Mizrahi. In the future, I will always ask his availability whenever I make an appointment. We have been fortunate that he has been available both times. The office staff and nurse really require additional training on customer service. The nurses have terrible bedside manner. The nurse swiped my sons throat without warning him how or what he would feel. She was very rough and left him in shock. When you bring a sick child they want to be cared for as they are at home. The office staff can barely crack a smile and say hello cheerfully. In my experience, an unhappy staff reflects on management. I hope someone from their office does read this and makes some changes. Every single time we come here we are waiting between 2-3 hours to see the doctor for around 5 minutes. To wait there for so long with my two kids ( 3 years old and 5 years old ) is just terrible. I wait on average 1.5 hours after my appointment time to be put in a room to be seen , then an additional 30 to see a doctor. My last visit I waited a total of three hours and the dr. Didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the wait. Rushed the visit misdiagnosed my son. Hello, I am a mother of two children whom are and have been patients of Pediatric Associates since their birth, ages 13 an 7. Unfortunately, my experience at my daughter's last appointment (Saturday, 3/11/17) was not a good one. I booked her a well visit for her 13 y/o check up on February 28th, a week and a half in advance. I got to the Miami Beach office, which is our regular office, at 10:10 am. Our appointment was for 10:20 am. We were called into a room at 11:50 am, one and a half hours after our schedule appointment time and waited in the room another 30 minutes, which means that we weren't seen but a doctor until roughly TWO hours after our scheduled appointment time. Now I understand that sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that may arise, and I am alright with that. But to be seen two hours after our appointment time, which was scheduled 10 days in advance, keeping in mind it's not like we were a same day/emergency appointment, is completely unacceptable. Once we were finally seen by Dr. Luz Pages, I expressed to her my disdain and she was very apologetic and promised that this would never happen again, which made me feel better, until....Dr. Pages requested some blood work for my daughter. We went to the lab and I explained to the nurse that my daughter had been fasting, as required for the blood work, and that my daughter gets nauseous/lightheaded when she sees blood. When the nurse drew her blood, my daughter fainted, which I wasn't surprised at given that she had nothing but water in her stomach and that we had been there for so long and she hadn't eaten. What upset me was the fact that when Dr. Pages was called to come check on her she requested that my daughter be given some pedialite, or orange juice or something sweet to bring up her blood sugar, there was nothing in the office to give her but water. I don't understand how a place that is taking blood all day from people, would not have something like that already on hand. No juice, no pedialite, no raisins, something! And by the way, there was also another patient who fainted at the same time that my daughter did at the office, after seeing the immunization needles he was about to be given. Thank God that I had a cup of coffee that I had brought with me and that's what we gave her, because the alcohol packet they kept rubbing under her nose, was not working. This is also not the first time that I had been sitting in the waiting room for over two hours for a scheduled appointment. While I can appreciate the growth and availability of 365 days a year, doctors on call at Pediatric Associates, I do feel that the time of your patients and their families is no longer valued nor is it taken into consideration. The bottom line is that Pediatric Associates is a business and unfortunately, just like any other business, Pediatric Associates has put their business ahead of the needs of their patients and it is, in my opinion, to your own detriment. After 13+ years of loyalty to Pediatric Associates I will be looking for a new pediatric office. It may not have availability 365 days a year, and probably won't have as many locations as you do, but I'm willing to bite that bullet if it means that my children will be treated as actual patients and not as a means to get to their bottom line, $$$. I've been coming to this office for a year now after my daughter was born. Dr. Pages has been not only a great doctor that dedicates enough time to examine our daughter, but also has proven to be very knowledgeable and professional. She is always interested in having educated parents, and that is why she always takes her time to answer all the questions that us as new parents have. (We always have a lot!) After a year we feel we made the right choice and we were very lucky to find Dr. Pages. She is always available and truly cares about our daughter. One time Dr. Pages was out of the office we had Dr. Arroyo see our daughter and we also had a similar experience with her.
