The most unfriendly front desk I have encountered. I went to this urgent care because it is close to my job and my co workers told me that it accepts our insurance and our gap insurance. They also warned me that the front desk lady would be unhelpful with processing the insurance and I had to push for her to go her job. they were not wrong. I try my best to be kind to employees but I could tell right off the bat that she was in a bad mood. There were no people waiting so she had plenty of time to verify my insurance. She decided not to. She told me I had to do everything on my own because she had been working there for 4 years and never dealt with my insurance. Since she didn't not want to deal with me anymore, She left the front desk and sent 2 other ladies that were nicer but clearly were not as familiar with the system. Then, I come to find out that the other lady that mistreated me was the assistant manager. I begged them to help me because I was feeling super sick but there was no compassion. I had to leave and go elsewhere without getting help. If other customers have to warn other people about your front desk staff's attitude, you should be very worried. THIS REVIEW ONLY PERTAINS TO THE FRONT DESK RECEPTION. I have been looking to write a review because I cannot find an email on the website in order to address the exceptional service I have received by the doctors and nurses at this location, and my concern with the rude front desk receptionist, who worked all day today 10-17-23. Firstly, I come to MedRite for all our health needs, you just cannot go wrong. The Nurses, the Doctors, everyone is super kind, they go above and beyond. I have never had a negative experience, ---- till today. The front desk receptionist was taking my information, mind you I am on no sleep and this is my second trip there with my sick daughter in two days, when I open a sprite for her and it basically exploded on the outside reception area. She ( the receptionist ) was so upset that instead of being a little more kind about it after I apologized, she basically ignored me and made an about face and gave all her co-workers a dirty look and left without telling me where she was going. So concerned were her co-workers that they all came outside as if I had destroyed the office by spilling a sprite. They were kind of course, the receptionist was not. I ignored her, she obviously has issues with her job, no one should get that upset, it wasn't vomit. I had a sick kid, I was not going to worry about her feelings too, it was a spilled drink and and my apologies were not acknowledged. Then came the phone call I had to make which forced me to speak with the receptionist again. I explained that the technician made a mistake and sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, her response was, "so where do you want it to go ?" incredibly rude. Again, I ignored. Then the medicine that the doctor ordered was not carried in any pharmacy in Miami at the pharmacy chain that it was called into. I called another pharmacy chain and they did have it. Call MedRite on 41st again, and again I get the front desk receptionist. I had to explain why I was calling because she would not transfer me without giving her an explanation, so I proceed to tell her the pharmacy did not carry the medication but another pharmacy chain did and I needed it called to that one. "OH, so now where do you want it to go? " her exact words, SO SO RUDE. MedRite, you can do better than this receptionist. You have far too many exceptional healthcare workers there to have that negativity on your team. As a business owner to 38 people, I would never tolerate such sarcastic and rude behavior. Never mind that I am there with the worst tension imaginable, a sick kid. She should be ashamed of herself and if it was my employee she would have been long gone. And if you are having a bad day, then do yourself and everyone else who is not feeling well coming through the door, DON'T COME TO WORK! read more

Literally the BEST urgent care experience I've ever had. I'm a healthcare worker myself and I get how it becomes when we're busy- they had at least 25 people on the line at all times- they were being slammed with COVID testing cases + regular urgent care cases. They had a wonderful system in place- EVERYONE was wearing PPE. Hand sanitizer everywhere- spraying Lysol in the air literally every 15-20 minutes, constantly disinfecting high touch areas and also even disinfecting the FLOOR!!! Now let me talk about my care- I had an car wreck and went in to get my pain checked out. Not only were they kind, friendly, knowledgeable, but they were patient, compassionate, and communicative. They did my X-rays, educated me, gave me some pain meds, and I felt like I was in good hands. Extra thanks to the PA Danielle! Absolutely phenomenal. Hopefully I never have to return but if I need urgent care, this will be the ONLY urgent care I return to on South Beach. read more

I brought my boyfriend in because he was experiencing an uncomfortable ear blockage. I called in advance and the woman who answered the phone and greeted us at the front desk was super friendly and offered us both something to drink. There are snacks everywhere and the clinic was playing upbeat, happy music, which elevated the somber mood of not feeling well. We waited less then 10 minutes before they brought us in to an exam room. Helga, the medical assistant, came in first, she too offered us something to drink and was sweet, funny, personable, efficient and it was her birthday! Dr Goldstein was the next to come in, he is very kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he took the time to be cordial, get to know us a little and had wonderful bedside manner. He's a very impressive man, as an MD, JD and former naval officer. We were quoted prices before everything they did, so everything was very clear and simple. We were in and out in an hour. A-V-O-I-D Dishonest scammers!! AVOID this company! Me and two of my friends visited this practice and they said the rapid antigen test is free of charge and will be done in 3h. Only two of us received the results on time, they lost the third person's test. When I called them they advised me, that we can go to New York to get a PCR test done. Shocking experience! I was feeling a little under the weather so off I went to Medrite for some antibiotics. When I went (it was a Sunday morning), there was no wait. The cost was $125/visit (or your insurance co-pay). Everyone was professional and they had a good system that got you in and out in no time. When purchasing the prescribed antibiotics, Medrite's pharmacy was cheaper than the CVS next door. They were absolutely amazing! I was extremely satisfied with my service there! I was treated with such kindness, compassion and respect by everyone; from the front desk ladies, to the MA's (Maribel) (Tora), to the PA who treated me (Danielle Marese). They were all very thorough and professional. I went in feeling awful with a fever of 100°F with body aches and sore throat. I tested positive for strep and was prescribed medicine. They also performed COVID-19 testing to be safe. (Antibody test came back the next day and regular test came came back in 5. I tested negative for both) That evening I began to feel better with the medicine prescribed and care instructions given. I would definitely go back there for treatment. I went to Medrite UC earlier this week to rule a fracture or damage to my mothers hip after a fall. Her case is somewhat complicated by previous surgeries to that hip. We went to Baptist and they were closed at 9 am! We then went to Medrite. We waited 15 mins and a very comprehensive was done and X-rays taken and a fracture was ruled out. I am a healthcare worker myself and know quite well how hard it is to find medical care that you can trust. And a place where the practitioners are thorough, professional and most of all empathetic.
