Wait times are abysmal, with or without an appointment. We're often left waiting for 30-45 minutes for the doctor in the room after the nurse leaves, even after I mention it to staff. As for care, it's sufficient. The staff seems to work with children pretty well, but it's far overshadowed by the wait time we've experienced every. single. visit. read more

This office accepts Medicaid, the billing staff opted not to send in a claim for 3 years, then the claim was denied as "claim too old". The office manager decided to attempt to collect from the patients parents. This is ILLEGAL. Then the manager says she will not write it off because they have had to write off balances before. This patient is on Medicaid and it is in the contract that they can not bill/collect from the patients. The doctors here need to drain their swamp of administrative personnel. They are billing illegally. This will not allow me to post without at least one star, but they don't deserve that one. read more

Took my 9 yr old and 3 yr old here for two years. Had a very positive experience with well checks, sick visits and ADHD management. Saw Dr. O'Grady mostly and always received fabulous communication with her. read more

I don't like writing negative reviews. Don't get me wrong, if all you need is an immunization or a wellness checkup Pediatric Associates might meet your families' needs. However if you need anything more intense than this, I cannot in good conscience recommend their services. read more

We tried this place out because our friends recommended them. After a few visits it was obvious that it wasn't the right place for the care of our child. And come to find out that our friends have also found other pediatricians. PA had a nurse look at our child and was unable to help her. We actually visited another pediatrician for a second opinion of the minor issue and they were able to find the cause and helped our child. Once we went in for a routine check up. My child had a cold and the doctor told me I needed to get her to the emergency room. I said "why you are her pediatrician. She has a cold she not dying". While I understand that it's a business as much as it's a medical facility I can't help feeling they care more about the $$$ than the patients. At the end of the year they called several times trying to convince us to come in for an unscheduled check up that they "thought it would be a good idea". It wasn't for anything specific just a recommendation. Can't help but think it was just a chance for a money grab since there was no reason for their request. Read the other reviews of this place before you fall for the mystique of the location and the affiliated hospital. Good luck read more

Horrible services changed my appointment without even telling me when I informed them said there was no changed that I must have gotten my time mixed up when I showed them a print out of my appointment they then said to not worry I would not be charged any late fee now I have a late charge showing on my credit report this place is the worst will be taking my kids else were. read more

My youngest had an insurance change a couple months ago, so her new insurance company assigned her to Dr. FitzHarris. My first impression of this office was not a good one. When they gave me their business card with her first appointment date and time, we came at the time listed on the card. When we checked in, the receptionist told me that the appointment was scheduled for 12:00 noon when the card clearly said 3:00 pm. I was completely baffled as to how they changed our appointment time without even notifying me. The receptionist, however, did offer to reschedule the appointment for the next day, which I was grateful for. The next day, everything worked out a little more smoothly. Check-in was fast, but the receptionist that day was super lackadaisical. Dr. FitzHarris was such a friendly, and personable doctor who actually talked to my child respectfully. At the end of the visit, when I tried to get a physical record from the front, it took a whopping 20 minutes. Slow, slow, slow. read more

Dr. Jodi Picasso at Pensacola Peds is the best! Dr. Picasso helped quickly when my grandson was very sick with a potential allergic reaction. Even though they were busy with sick and well patients, the staff was warm and welcoming. The wait was short with us being called back at the scheduled time. The process was efficient and my grandson is much better. I highly recommend Dr. Picasso and Pensacola Peds. read more

Parent, please beware about your bill! I have two boys and they were their patients when they were born. It's been 10 years and we never have any problem with paying the medical bill from this office . Recently, this month (March 2016), I received the bill for $32.45 and was charged for $10.00 finance charge (total of $42.45) because I didn't pay the bill on February. This is the first medical practice office that charges the patient 30+% interest (worse than the worst credit card company) for a bill that is 30 days late. Every medical practice places that I knew will send you bill for 30, 60, 90 days late and eventually send it to the collection company instead of ripping you off with finance charge like this. I sure will find another pediatric office to take my children to because money is hard to earn, and I don't want to get ripped off like this. read more

Both of my children were born in Pensacola and we used Dr. Cordell as our main pediatrician, and primarily at the Perdido location--loved her! Dr. Fitzharris is also amazing! She performed my son's circumcision with quickness and no problems. We loved the ease of appointments, location and quickness to see us, through exams and ability to answer all our questions! Very caring. Also we are military and were in the middle of transitioning from FL to another state when our daughter fell ill with a fever. Dr. O'Grady was great with her diagnosis and information via telephone. Overall, very pleased and sad to leave our children't first pediatricians. We couldn't be happier with PA read more

We love Dr. O'Grady! We never have trouble getting an appointment, and they are open 7 days a week. Dr. O'Grady is so loving, knowledgeable, and patient with our toddler. We are never rushed and she always answers all of my questions without being pretentious and while not making us feel like she has better things to do. We always feel like our son is her only patient. She really is wonderful and we'll continue seeing her as long as we live in Pensacola. read more

I LOVE the doctors there (so here's my 2 stars) and they're pretty knowledgeable of their craft for the most part. The doctors show sympathy and care for their pediatric patients. I wish the same training was required of the nursing staff. There's one nurse in particular (Holly - Dr Cordell and O'Grady's nurse) who has been a nightmare to deal with and appear to always be quick to deliver inaccurate information, in a rush to just say ANYTHING to parents just so she could hang up and not have to deal with the concerns/questions they have about their sick children. On multiple occasions, the information/advice I received from this particular nurse have been different from what would later on be advised or communicated to me by my child's pediatrician. I wonder if her answers are based on how she slept that night or on her "medical" expertise or lack thereof. She's rude, shows no sympathy or bit of concern for sick infants, and UNPROFESSIONAL. If you, for any unfortunate circumstance, have to deal with this individual (Holly), make sure you've done some background research of your own. My advice would be to skip her altogether and request to speak to another nurse/ a professional. read more

Absolutely disastrous visit. The receptionist was very nice, however, Doctor Benny was another story. My 10 year old son who has anxiety, was twirling his sock around when she snapped at him to "stop flinging around his sock because she doesn't want to be hit". She called my daughter a boy numerous times when she herself is very manly looking. She made rude comments about the private school my children are in and called my son obese to his face. We are between jobs and she made a huge deal about not having insurance even though we explained why we don't have insurance. If I could rate her zero stars I would. Don't waste your time here and especially not with Doctor Benny. I won't be returning ever. read more

This physician group is a typical group whose main priority is in generating patient visits so they can bill for them. There is no personal relationship. They have made my granddaughter come back over and over and over instead of helping her, they just keep generating revenue for themselves. We just went through weeks and weeks of visits with no help, then they finally prescribed medicine which didn't work, then they finally prescribed stronger medicine that worked and she has been a normal child for several weeks. She does go to school and does seem to pick this up there but the doctor could actually care about her rather than how many times they can make us bring her back. And I don't buy the "we don't prescribe antibiotics unless we know they are needed" routine. I am as anti drug as they come. But sometimes, if you know that giving some medicine would save a child weeks of misery: not sleeping, coughing, fever, difficulty breathing, etc. then I would rather a Dr. do that. She is getting sick again and the whole cycle is starting again and of course, the Dr. said she doesn't need medicine I guess because she hasn't suffered for weeks yet, we haven't brought her in for visits and tests for them to bill yet, etc. And we are going on a trip that has been planned for awhile and cost a lot of money. The Dr. didn't care. I suggested just giving us a week's worth of medicine in case she needs it and they didn't care. So we are praying we can help her on our own enough so that we don't spend the trip in the E.R. or Urgent Care or with her in the hotel room while everyone else has fun. Also, my granddaughter has two insurances and the practice was zero help when there was confusion over which was primary. All of THIS is why they government needs to add the legislation in the next two weeks to take away physicians' ability to charge for the volume of visits and instead pay physicians for how well their patients are. There needs to be a stop to the racket that these physicians have developed to get as much money as possible from the current system. Now, not all doctors are like this but many are so this is one time the government has it right. read more
