They are pretty good. They let you vaccinate at your own pace and don't turn you away if they aren't vaccinated. The staff is nice. My pediatrician is pretty thorough on what he asks and checks. He was reassuring when my baby's weight percentile was low. When i wanted to stick with nursing, he didn't pressure me into switching to formula only to switch my diet. check in was 2 15 got there 150 wasn't seen till 3:20 didn't leave till 430 . the office never answers their phone took 2 months to get 1 appointment. had to go in an ask to make one. front desk is rude and inconvenient. the doctors are nice so that's a plus . unorganized in general the whole front office needs to be fired . read more

Here we go again, months after having to talk to the person who is over this office for their inability to return calls, my wife has been putting in calls for now THREE DAYS for our son in another similar instance of being ghosted by this practice. This place is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! Why we are entrusting our son's health with an office that can't return a simple call yet again after having to bark this up the command once again is past me. Whoever the lady that called us before - when we had to write the first review, that months earlier nobody even has acknowledged to this date - who promised you'd find out why nobody seems to care that patient after patient reports the same experiences - even after posting a review I couldn't get a call back for my wife regarding our son - it would be amazing if you could give us the courtesy of a phone call back. Pediatric Convenient Care is part of Community Health Northwest Florida, and prior to 23 FEB 2019, was part of Escambia Community Clinics. We had the occasion to visit this facility on 23 JUL 2019 when our son suddenly got ill while on vacation in Pensacola Beach, necessitating us to end our trip a day early. Upon our arrival, it was comforting to see the signage out front showing that Pediatric Convenient Care was affiliated with The Studer Family Children's Hospital, UFHealth (University of Florida Health) and Trinity Pediatrics. What was even more comforting was that the facility was located next door to the Children's Hospital. Although the building's facade is "nothing fancy", the care we received on the inside is what truly mattered. We immediately took note on how incredibly clean the facility was when we walked inside. We were immediately greeted by receptionist Brittany, and were comforted by the fact that she too was a New Orleans native and had moved here following the storm of 2005 whose name I shall not mention. She was kind and caring and genuinely seemed to like greeting families and putting them at ease with her kindness. As we were visiting this facility for the first time, we had to fill out the obligatory comprehensive forms. I like that all the forms were filled out via an electronic tablet; including an option to pay electronically. After completing our "paperwork", we had a very short wait and were brought back to the triage area. We were taken to the back by Sharona, who took all of our son's vitals in the triage area. It was nice to see that the cleanliness extended to the back areas as well as this too was spotlessly clean. Sharona had a great interaction with our son, and was just as friendly as Brittany. After triage, we were placed in an exam room which to our pleasure was also immaculately clean. After a very brief wait, we were greeted by one of the kindest and most personable health care providers we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nurse practitioner Amanda Ray's demeanor and attention to detail immediately put us at ease, which is always a good thing when you are not seeing your primary care physician. She listened to us intently and took into consideration everything we mentioned, especially regarding our son's medical history. Her physical exam of our son was much more thorough than I imagined it would be, and she discussed all the possibilities regarding his specific malady. In fact, her exam was so through, that we are following up with our pediatrician and pediatric dentist today as per her recommendation. By the time we left, our son had already started to feel a little better and our minds were a little more at ease. Thank you so much Amanda, Sharona and Brittany. If you are ever in the Pensacola area or live in the Pensacola area and need excellent pediatric care, you won't do better than Pediatric Convenient Care. read more

Very kind group of people who were helpful when pediatrician was closed. We got lucky and didn't wait too long but just needed weight and bilirubin but got a lot of extra information from Dr. Southwick who was fantastic! Overall great experience! If you are on vacation in the area DO NOT come to this pediatric clinic. Call another one and make an appt. I thought I could show up 30 mins before they opened and be seen quickly (as they are a pediatric walk in/convenient care.) I was wrong! 2 hours later and we still haven't seen a doctor! How do they stay open??? Now I'm stuck in the room at their mercy!Unacceptable. read more

I originally wanted to go to their location in Pace by my home, that location told me because I split my sons shot in half that he was "behind" two weeks after the other half was given and that they would not see him. They told me to go to the health department . They sent me to this location. Upon calling I explained to them what the other location said and they responded well we won't just see him for a one time shot visit that I would have to make this his permanent office. First I took my daughter to an appointment at 9 am, we did not leave until 11 am. I had an appointment scheduled for my son , they called me the day before the appointment and cancelled saying the office was going to be closed. The lady rescheduled me for august 16 at 8am, I get there this morning and she tells me it's not until next Monday at 10:20 keep a calendar and write everything in it ... furthermore I would not agree to anything later than opening with this place as sitting for two hours with an 8 month old is not fun. She did not even care that this mistake was on their part and wasn't willing to accommodate me. Literally wrote me the appointment card and put it on the desk. This is terrible customer service and I do not appreciate being cancelled and given a wrong appointment date and time for my child having to waste my time and gas to just go back home! read more
