I have no knowledge of the doctors level of care at their facility, but they came highly recommended to my wife and I as we just had a newborn baby a few days ago. They may be the best pediatricians in the world, but we will never know because they are refusing to see our daughter. What crime did we commit to not be allowed the privilege of being their patient? We had a home birth, with a licensed nurse midwife. We are not insane anti vaxxers or anything like that. Our Licensed Nurse Midwife was in charge of the nurse midwife program for St Joe's for many years and keeps meticulous charts and yet apparently our baby is not appropriate to be seen by this office because she was born at home. I was half way through making the appointment for our daughter on the phone when the question was asked "What hospital or birthing center was she born in?" I responded "we had a home birth." There was a pause and I was put on hold, and a few seconds later I was told "We are not accepting new patients from home-births". That was it, no explanation and she hung up. I am not sure if our dollars spend differently than people who choose to have hospital births, but apparently this office believes so. Without being offered a reasonable explanation I can only assume that this office enjoys a nice financial backslapping arrangement with the hospitals that refer the patient whom they are accepting. read more

We first heard about Pediatric associates from my OB when I was pregnant with my daughter. He recommended Dr.Lersch and he has been seeing my daughter since the day she was born. Although we has never met him before he showed up to the hospital to check her the day she was born and she has been seeing him since then! He is Absolutely amazing! read more

My baby has been given the best care at Pediatric Associates. We have been seen by Dr. Lersch, Dr. Padrez and Dr. Leonard. I wanted to meet all the doctors so I could choose the one that was the best fit for us but that has proven difficult because they are all so great. They genuinely care. All the staff is really knowledgable and friendly. They handle every issue urgently which is very important when dealing with a newborn. I am a first time mom and am lucky to have a such a great team helping me with this journey. read more

We have been bring our children here for almost 11 years, I have never had an issue with them. Dr. Pedrez is ones we usually see, he is extremely knowledgeable, patient, courteous, and takes its time to listen to any concern you may have. I enjoy that when my mom comes with me, he includes her and explains everything in Spanish for her, Spanish is her first language. I really enjoy this pediatric office and my children enjoy it too. read more

Terrible experience with Dr Lersch and referral specialist. First time visit with Dr Lersch for 11 year old check up was okay. Everything since then, including spending hours on the phone following up on a referral, false promises to send to referral dr.s and finally a decision Dr Lersch would not support a referral to a speech therapist even though he diagnosed him as tongue tied. I have been coming here for years with my 2 daughter, and we love Dr. Lersch he's amazing. I've been to peds that over do testing and make you thing there is always something wrong, but Dr. Lersh defenitelty explains the necessity of test and let you have a voice. read more

Dr. Lersch is such an amazing pediatrician. I have brought my four month old here since birth and he is extremely informative, kind and willing to answer any questions. I've never had a bad experience here and that says something because I am very picky with Dr.'s offices especially if they are caring for my daughter. read more

I like Dr. Padrez., he's awesome. The staff most times are just rude. Everytime I would take my daughter for a check up, she would have to see another dr. Because he was always booked. My daughters 16 months and she's seen her dr. Only about 3 times out of the 10 she's been to the drs. Not to mention everytime they have another dr look at her it was another 76 patient establishment charge I had to pay. That was ridiculous. When I called in to ask if I should bring my daughter in asap, they said a nurse practitioner will call me right back. ... It took her 2 hours to call back. By then I had taken her to the hospital for a spiked fever and a stomach bug. It happened more then once. I switched drs and am very happy with where she's at now. read more

Dr. Leonard and the doctors at Pediatric Associates have seen all 4 of my kids for years. We could not be more pleased with the care we receive here. When we have had complicated questions, Dr. Leonard and his staff go out of their way to find us answers. He has made calls to specialists for us to help decide on treatment plans. They'll call us after-hours to check in on us. I never have more than a 15 minute wait past our appointment time and most often are seen on-time or early. We have several friends in the community who also come to this office and see Dr. Day and love her, too! read more

Save your time. Don't go here. Every appointment they ask you to be 15 min early, however they can never be on time for an appt! How disappointing and disrespectful! Happened more then 5 times to me. I really kept giving them another chance, but when you wait 1 month for a well child check up, and they don't give you the courtesy to be on time. So done with this office! read more

Dr. Nadia Day has been taking care of my kids as well as her wonderful partners who cover the practice. We have had a great experience with this clinic. Specifically they take the time to educate on age appropriate milestones, give information to us so we can make informed decisions for what will be best for our children's health. I appreciate Dr. day's calm persona. As a mom I worry about so many things with my kids and I appreciate her confident and assured demeanor. I would recommend this practice. read more

We have been coming to this practice for 3.5 years now and absolutely love every doctor here. Our primary ped is Dr Leonard and he's amazing. Our first daughter was a preemie. We were nervous 24/7 and he was extremely patient with all our questions and had great advice. He is so good with our girls and genuinely loves his job. I've seen reviews about the staff but I can't confirm anything other than, I'm friendly to them and they are friendly right back. read more

I'm only giving 1 star because I had to put something in order to write a review. Let me just say I've had the UNFORTUNATE experience of picking them as my first and only child's pediatrician. The service is absolutely horrible. First of all it's always a zoo in there. It's insane how many people they schedule at a time and the wait alone is always over an hour. And don't even bother making an appointment unless you have time to wait on the phone for 30 minutes. Last time I was there after about 70 minutes of waiting the doctor finally came in and I asked if I could dress my daughter (it's freezing in there so bring a blanket) because no one ever came in to weigh her and take her temp like they usually do first. The doctor said "oh let me get them to do that". She left the room and after about another 15 minutes the nurse finally came in to weigh her etc, after that I waited for about another 20 minutes realizing they skipped me because they forgot to do their job. She's had a different doctor almost every time, the nurses are rude and the doctors aren't friendly at all. Not to mention when I did complain about the wait the doctor blamed it on the new nurses. Really!? How about the people who are supposed to be training the new nurses? Don't blame them for your faults! Needless to say I'm never taking my daughter back there. I don't recommend this place for anyone. An urgent care that barely works with kids is better than pediatric associates! Ew. read more

Dr. Leonard is our son's pediatrician. He is phenomenal. He's detailed oriented and genuinely wants to here everything you have to ask. He walks you through on everything that he's doing. If you call the office for him, he will call you back within an hour. He makes such and effort to be so great. We couldn't be happier. read more

Dr. Lersch has taken care of all 3 of my kids. I have also seen multiple of his partners when he was not available. They were all professional, efficient and friendly. They are responsive and have a very good layout for their spacious waiting room for unwell patients on one side and well patients on the other. read more

I signed up just to post this review. Hope it helps. I am a recently retired physician, practiced for 30 years. My daughter has been going to Dr Padrez since she was born 16 years ago. The experience with him has been great. Always able to fit us in, etc... So for non sick kids, or sore throats etc, they are fine. My daughter developed a illness at age 13 for which she needs to take immunosuppressive drugs. That puts her at risk for infections, some which are unusual. Last week she developed a cough with an associated fever. The fever was different for her, so I brought her in. The doctor saw her and thought an CXR was in order. There is no in house X-ray. We drove to the place nearest our house and after walking across the lot with an obviously sick kid, they said the machine was down. We went home and she slept the rest of the day. The next morning, went to X-ray place #2. Waited an hour and 40 mins. No triage. Got a call that afternoon from a different doc that my daughter had pneumonia and started her on once daily cephalosporin. That didn't seem correct to me since she is immunosuppressed, but I'm not a pediatrician. Fast forward one day and she is in Phoenix's children's ER sick as a dog. IV antibiotics, etc...Nasal swab came back for bug that was not covered by the antibiotic given. She received the correct antibiotic at Phoenix children's and got better over the next several days. No in house X-ray or lab makes you drive your sick child all over town. Very poor antibiotic choice for immunosuppressed child with pneumonia. I am never returning and would advise if your child is really sick, look elsewhere. read more

I feel very lucky to have found Pediatric Associates. I've heard horror stories from other friends about experiences with their pediatricians so I know how rough finding the right doctor can be. A friend recommended Dr. Padrez so I decided to give him a shot. From our first visit I have felt nothing but confidence in him. He has a great demeanor with my son and I have so far had a very healthy little boy. What I like most about the office is how efficiently they get you in and out on time. There is no need to get there more than fifteen minutes prior to your appointment. Having waited over an hour at other doctor's offices, I thought this was huge. There has been an occasion or two when I've had to wait longer, but both those instances were when my son was sick and we had to come in for a last minute appointment and the doctor's did their best to see me as quickly as they could. When my son is sick, I have had to see some of the other doctor's in the practice and so far they have a;l been great. Dr. Day, Dr. Lococo, and Dr. Kelly have been my favorites aside from Dr. Padrez. The office has a separate waiting area for sick and well children which is another feature I greatly enjoy. If you're looking for a great pediatric office I would definitely recommend trying them out. read more

We have been going to Dr. Lersch for 12 years and we love him. I don't love the PA they have there. She has been rude and not very helpful every time I have seen her. The first time I saw her was the first time my baby was sick enough to bring her to the doctor, and I felt she really bullied me. I was a new mother dealing with my first infant illness - so, that was weird. Now when I call to make appointments, I just ask for Dr. Lersch and if I have to wait an extra few days - so be it. read more

Dr. Lersch is amazing. He is great at figuring out what is going on and treating without ever recommending unnecessary tests or medications. He takes his time with all of his patients and really gets to know you and your children. I would highly recommend him and Pediatric Associates. read more

Dr. Padrez has been our pediatrician since my daughter was born four months ago. He is very kind, soft-spoken, knowledgeable and doesn't rush. You can tell he delights in babies as he smiles and talks to them while he examines them, and my baby is very comfortable with him. The office staff are very nice, as are the nurses. The office is clean and cheerful, and the surrounding complex is beautiful as well. I would recommend Dr. Padrez for sure. We have seen Dr. Leonard once, and he seemed to rush-rush and talk over me. I was still trying to ask him questions as he was literally going into the hallway and closing the door on us ... he spent maybe 5 minutes in the exam room with us. Can't recommend him ... but Dr. Padrez is great! I also really appreciate the triage nurse they have on call; she has helped us many times by phone. read more

I called to schedule an appointment for my child and was told that my child was not able to be seen anymore due to "too many no-shows". I never received a phone call to confirm any appointments even if this is complimentary and never received any letter in regards to "too many no-shows". This place is horrible. read more
