My kids have also always kind of complained about swim lessons, but they have really responded well to their instructor and have actually asked me if they could come more often.

Anita has been so great at teaching our bossy 3 yr old to get over her fear of the pool & now able to float on her back for rest & breathing & then flip over to swim. I was extremely nervous at first, as she was with an instructor and not me. My anxiety slowly dispersed as the instructors and lifeguards patiently worked with her to build both her listening and water skills. Prior to her starting, she had no ability to swim at all and did not like going in the deep end. Since then, her skills have increased immensely and she has learned basic swim survival skills. Now, she is holding her breath and diving into water. She can confidently swim in deep water. She "rescues" toys from one side of the pool and brings them back. She "dives down" in water to retrieve swim rings. She even does underwater somersaults and handstands! My one critique is that there is a pretty high staff turnover. My daughter doesn't really seem to mind it, although I know many young students that do. Mine does excel more when she has one steady instructor who knows her capabilities and knows how to push her and work with her specific needs. I am extremely impressed with goldfish swim school and definitely recommend them for instruction, especially for the younger ones.

The staff here is wonderful and is always welcoming us with smiling faces and they truly feel like family! My daughter absolutely adores Miss Mia and looks forward to swim every week. The amenities here are also amazing! There is a shower with soap right by the pool to wash the pool water off the kids. There are several changing rooms and even when they are a little busy we never have to wait to change. Several bathrooms and a cool machine that air drys the bathing suits so no need to have a wet bag after placing the bathing suit in it. They have 6 hair dryers as well so I'm able to shower, change my daughter into pjs and blow dry her hair! It's our favorite after school activities. As a working mom who works till 5:30 it's amazing they have hours and classes that late as well as on weekends! This place has started feeling like home and my daughter is getting comfortable with water! Did I mention they have a snack bar for kids and adults! Plus a little shop with goggles, bathing suits and towels!

Clientele is awful. Someone was using a machine, walked away for five minutes and told me to get…read moreoff because he was still using it. Another woman placed her belongings down next to a machine to reserve it for herself for AFTER she was finished with the machine she was working on. I contacted the corporation via email and they said they would put signs up to stop people from reserving equipment but there were never signs put up. I joined this club and paid the extra $30 compared to another club that charges only $10 a month so that I could go in the pool and the Jacuzzi as it helps my pain. The last time I went to the Jacuzzi there were five or six old men sitting in the tub and one of the men was very threatening telling me that everyone took their shoes off before going into the Jacuzzi and I did not (I had flip flops). I wondered, were these losers kicked out of their senior communities? Why were all of these men there at the same time? When I started at the club there was a younger crowd and I liked the fact that I wouldn't have to use my parent's senior community jacuzzi and be hassled by mean old people there. This corporation is doing nothing to improve the club. It's going downhill. It makes me wonder if they're trying to make members want to leave so that they can bring new members in and charge higher fees.

And once we started working with Leilani, we knew this was going to be a success! Our daughter got more out of these lessons than ever before. Leilani was patient, kind and worked with a sometimes tired toddler who didn't have much interest. She was fantastic! It was just such a awesome experience, I would highly recommend Sunsational Swim School and Leilani to everyone.
