They're only in it for the money and will make every attempt to charge you as much as possible. When I asked about having additional time with the doctor to discuss concerns, I was told that it would more than double the price because they would charge for a wellness and office visit. When I asked why she needed a wellness visit since she's up to date on her shots, I just kept repeatedly being told it's policy. I called back and asked a few more questions later, and the woman who answered got snippy again, and repeatedly told me that my mother should just call. I am 23 years old. I scheduled the appointment. If they have no problem with me asking questions about a wellness visit, sharing shot record information, telling me her patient status (which was wrong in their system, which if I hadn't corrected, would have cost almost an additional $30 for her visit), etc, then why not answer why she has to have a well check? The office manager, Amie Ramirez, is no better. I was told that never, under any circumstances whatsoever, will a doctor talk to a patient or patient guardian outside of an office visit. Why have a doctor that, if there's an emergency and I call, won't speak to me or anyone else? When I said that the nurse, Melissa, hadn't called me back in WEEKS, she started defending her, and said I had to send call logs before even starting to file the complaint because, and I quote, "She's been Dr. Pasceo's nurse for over 20 years and there's never been a problem". I got a phone call from the office as I was on the phone with the office manager, but haven't until today when I've been leaving voicemails since the 6th? It's the 29th. When I originally called to schedule the appointment, the lady who answered the phone told me that they had several open appointments since they haven't been seeing as many patients because parents are worried about bringing their kids in due to COVID, but I now I wonder if it's because of COVID, or because of how poorly they treat their patients. All of this is a shame, because Dr. Pasceo was very nice when we went in before, but the rest of the staff ruins the office, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If the appointment is canceled due to me running late that's fine but call and let me know, don't wait until I get there to tell me it's canceled. We love the physician that we see she provides excellent care but find some friendlier folks that sit at the front. I don't recall the girls name but I believe it started with an M. The waiting room is spacious, and they always have something on the TV for the little ones! You're able to register online for an appointment, or you can walk up. It is much larger than the old North Garland facility with what looks to be an emergency center in part of the building. After circling one time to get my bearings of where the clinic area was located I entered. I should say the reason I've stayed with Baylor all these years is personal, friendly service and diagnostic advanced care. So it was good to know progress and growth had not dampened those attributes, but as one should expect- made positive strides in my opinion to advance both service and care with a bit more speed. Being employed in tech I immediately appreciate their use of new "stuff", from the Phone app to the gear they employ for even my simple checkup. Nothing like speed when your waiting on the numbers! Service- It's a big place but after determining where clinic was from the entryway shingle, I was greeted warmly and escorted to the area where my new doctor served. Short wait- very good first visit with "new" Dr- some diagnostic tech and I'm done. While I was out in under 1 hr, even with a meet/greet the new doctor, I felt very good about the visit and Baylor. This was a Friday the 13th visit but I had some lab results on Saturday via the Baylor app and full results with Doctor recommendations Sunday evening. Pleased to say the least - 5/5!

However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit. My last doctor visit was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the dr office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. So...)

Dr O and all the staff have a been highly efficient and kind. Brief waits, online check-in and most importantly an in depth exam and consultation by an exemplary doctor. Regarding people's insurance hassles, I think that happens with all facilities and all insurance companies, generally speaking. Not really a bad medical issue. Rachel & one more medical assistant (I can't remember her name) are AMAZINGLY SWEET AND FUN. They are very quick at taking blood and virtually painless. Overall, I really do enjoy going and just catching up with all the ladies and laughing. Such a great medical office for anyone and they accept a bunch of different insurance policies.
