The rest of the staff is super friendly and they try to make the kids feel comfortable. The rooms and lobby area are always clean. They also have toys and book in the lobby and rooms to keep the kids entertained. I had mixed feelings about my visit. The pediatrician was wonderful, kind, patient, and very…read morefriendly. She made both me and my daughter feel comfortable, and I truly appreciated her care. Unfortunately, my experience with the medical assistant was the complete opposite. From the moment we were brought back, she came across as cold and unfriendly. She made no effort to engage with me or my two-year-old daughter, which is disappointing in a pediatric office where young children are often nervous or upset. My daughter was having a tantrum during the visit, which is not unusual for a toddler in a medical setting. Instead of showing patience or attempting to comfort her, the assistant appeared visibly annoyed and kept making unpleasant facial expressions. It felt as though she was irritated by having to deal with a young child. One interaction in particular stood out to me. While my daughter was fussing on the scale, I was doing my best to help and commented that I thought she weighed around 38 pounds. The assistant responded with, "Yeah, I know, I saw the 38," in a rude and dismissive tone. The pediatrician was excellent, but the medical assistant's attitude left a very negative impression and made me regret choosing this office. Families with young children deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, and understanding.

This morning, I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter after receiving new health…read moreinsurance. The first staff member I spoke with was checking our coverage information, but after the call I realized I had provided the wrong member ID number. I immediately called back to provide the correct information. Unfortunately, the staff member who answered would not let me explain why I was calling. Instead, she repeatedly placed me on hold and transferred me to a line where no one answered. This happened five times. At the very least, she could have taken down the correct member ID and passed the information along to her coworker. For a facility that cares for children, I expected a higher level of kindness, patience, and customer service. Instead, I felt dismissed and met with unnecessary attitude when I was simply trying to provide important insurance information. I feel bad for the doctor who owns this practice because any patients they lose may be due to the front office staff rather than the quality of medical care. Unfortunately, I never even had the opportunity to meet the doctor, and this was my experience before my daughter was ever seen. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this office to other parents.
