I would first like to note that the majority of 1 star reviews are from people who have only done 1 or 2 Yelps. Competitor or friend of a disgruntled or fired employee would be my first thought. My multiple experiences here, with my elderly mother, have been exceptional. Dr O and all the staff have a been highly efficient and kind. Brief waits, online check-in and most importantly an in depth exam and consultation by an exemplary doctor. Regarding people's insurance hassles, I think that happens with all facilities and all insurance companies, generally speaking. Not really a bad medical issue. Initially, I felt my experience was a good one - brief exam to diagnose an infection. I self-paid with a credit card and all was well until a few months later in the midst of a worldwide trip, I began receiving automated phone messages for a past due bill for an amount double the amount I was given in the office, on my receipt and paid for with my credit card. I double-checked my card statement to verify the initial charge and then called the office which wasn't easy from my location. Explained the issue and was told they would take care of it. The harassing calls continued and a second call was made but this time I was told to call the 800 number. There was never a response, only message machines. It has now been 8 months and the harassing calls are still coming in, as well as statements by mail for double the amount on my receipt and showing only 1/2 of the amount I paid on my credit card. Being unable to resolve this by phone, I will have to deal with this in person when I return from my trip. I suspect this is a common billing tactic and be forewarned if you visit this clinic. Even if this is resolved, my rating will remain the same, as no one should have to go through such BS and stress for a simple office visit. read more

They don't know what they are doing about insurance. Any HMO that a patient brings in is subject to a co-pay. But they say I have to pay the rest of the bill too. They are charging me $177.64 that I do not owe. I have called them and the receptionist will not put me through to the accounting person. I have been trying for over a year to take care of this and they just keep sending me bills. If they dare ruin my credit with this bill I will go further with this matter. Absolutely horrible experience with this urgent care facility. I was charged $130 when I should have only been charged $75. Lady at the front desk refused to provide me with a disposable mask when I realized mine had broken (she claimed that giving masks out is wasteful). Keep in mind that you aren't made aware that masks are mandatory until you arrive at the office. Dr then called in a prescription that I'm allergic to (discussed at length during the visit). Then the other prescription I was given had no instructions for the pharmacist on how to fill. I was forced to wait an hour for the "DR" to return the pharmacists call. I showed up and was greeted with "good mornings" accompanied with smiles and positive attitudes. They treated my wounds immediately and took preventative & proactive steps to ensure no stone went unturned with getting me all fixed up. These guys are great. 10/10 would do it again. I was in so much pain that I was crying on the bathroom floor and couldn't think well enough to locate a clinic that takes military insurance (most don't). My friend did the research for me and texted me MedPrem. I showed up, was back in the exam room immediately, out of the clinic 20 minutes later with labs sent out, prescriptions in hand for antibiotics, pain relief, and even Zofran bc I told the provider that antibiotics tend to make me nauseous. Long story short I was feeling MUCH better 2 hours after I was doubled over on the floor, and I was able to go to work the next day! Juliana, the owner and primary care provider, has a truly good heart. Finding this clinic was a huge blessing for me. Since that day I've been back twice. Juliana even wrote a script for my regular meds when I missed an appt w my primary care doctor and couldn't get another one for a month. She is amazing and is really there for anything I need, with no hassle, no fighting to be listened to and taken seriously, no waiting for hours or being sent away with no answers, etc. Even if you don't live in the area, I promise MedPrem is WELL worth the drive over other urgent cares! read more

They did not give us a diagnosis or discharge papers stating what his illness was. Took him to his PCP for a followup and the tests came back postive for the flu. Terrible experience!! I will never come back here again! There is not much Urgency at this urgent care. I was the only patient there and went in to get xrays for a possible broken nose. After visiting with the doctor, she told me that the xray tech would be right in. I waited about 30 minutes before the doctor came back in assuming I had my xrays done. I waited another 20 minutes before someone finally took me to get my xrays. After the visit was over, the doctor told me it would take 2 hours to receive my results via phone. They also said they would send a prescription to my pharmacy. I left the clinic at 1pm and still hadn't received a call by 5pm. I called the urgent care myself and the receptionist told me they had my results and the doctor would have to call me back in a few minutes to tell me the results. I also had to tell her to send over the prescription I was waiting for because they were never sent over. Well... 6pm is closing time and I never received a call with my results! I had to wait all weekend wondering if I had a broken nose or not. I called first thing Monday morning and it rang and rang and no one answered. I received a call later in the morning with my results. I expressed my frustration with them and their unprofessionalism and they didn't seem to care. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! I recently took my husband for a sick visit on Saturday March 17th. Service was quick and easy. Dr. Holly was attentive and got us out in a timely manner. However sarah receptionist/billing person overcharged us. We gave her the insurance card that clearly stated urgent care copay was $75.00. We were charged $130.00 and were told BCBS wasn't open. Which is true their business office is only open Monday-Friday. But when taking my kids to the medical city children's urgent care in Dallas they just charge us the copay and tell us if we owe more they'll bill us. We paid because we thought they probably want to make sure they over charge rather than undercharge. Not sure, and not sure if this is common with urgent cares to overcharge. Plus we just wanted to be seen. We were told they would call Monday to verify and if we paid over we would receive a check. We followed up with Sarah who told us she was busy and hadn't gotten a chance to call BCBS. We continued to call her throughout the day. We received the same response of being too busy and not getting through our insurance. Upon calling BCBS they reported a check for a refund had been sent over a week ago and that should have been given to us. BCBS had to call Sarah in order for us to get our refund. Upon arrival to receive our refund she still displayed behavior that she was too busy and bothered for trying to get our refund. To summarize the medical treatment was satisfactory but billing area(Sarah) definitely needs some improvement.
