This was our third time eating at Pedro's Tacos, and while we do like the food overall, we've noticed some consistency issues. This time, the food presentation wasn't great. I found a random piece of ramen in my carne asada taco, which was surprising and honestly a little concerning. The burrito we ordered was also sloppily wrapped and looked rushed. Another thing I noticed was the lime they gave me for the tacos--it seemed like it had already been used. When I tried to squeeze it, there was no juice, which was disappointing since that little detail makes a difference. We like Pedro's for the flavors, but the attention to detail and quality control could definitely be better.

Asada tacos, carnitas burrito, Cali fries

Tacos, burrito, and Cali fries is what I had ordered. Food was delicious. Only disappointment is the size offering for the Cali fries... it was a pretty small portion compared to Cali fries I had in Cali. Small, clean shop. Was greeted by a fella running the register. We had a little miscommunication when ordering but he was able to assist in correcting my order quickly. I'm a happy camper! Definitely recommend this place.

Shredded chicken stuffed crispy corn flautas. A perfect light lunch.

We hadn't visited for awhile, so decided to grab a quick lunch at Pedro's. There was no one else in the restaurant. I have never seen black marks on tortilla chips, but there were plenty in this batch. I gave them some credit in the past for making their own chips, but this time it was not a success - over fried and oil soaked. My usual order of chicken flautas fell flat. The shredded chicken was bland and quite chewy. Tomatoes were non existent. The biggest serving on my plate was shredded iceberg lettuce. It was abundantly clear that there was absolutely no care in the making or the plating of this dish. Our request for guacamole was met with a sorry, and then a reply that they were "sold out". Really? My husband was also disappointed in his tacos. Once again, a restaurant in Beaufort/Port Royal showed its inability to maintain a consistent and reliable level of quality and execution. I do enjoy Mexican food. Why Beaufort has so so many Latino eateries is mind boggling. Many, unfortunately, are just a a boring repeat of the same old Tex-Mex offerings. Residents here crave more international cuisine besides nachos, tacos and enchiladas. Sorry Pedro's, we won't be back.

    Pizza Birria, consume, salsa

A terrific addition! Wow! Food was delicious. On this visit we shared the Pizza Birria. It is amazing! Enough for two. Wow. We also ordered chips + salsa to snack while we waited. Not necessary for the wait but really good and we didn't leave any. :-) The quesabirria is wonderful. You will not be disappointed. When they ask if you'd like the consume, say yes. My husband snuck over without me (!) once and had taco. He is picky and wholeheartedly agrees Pedro's is on THE List. In addition the folks are super, VERY clean and neat place. We will return!

Pretty good food. Okay service. Tasty quesabirria and tacos. Where's the tequila though?

To expensive with all the add on pricing. 50 cents here and 50 cents there. Just wanted 3 tacos, should not be over 18.00.

I don't know why I write this because most people don't read them anyway…read more After a hiatus of four years, hoping for the old five guys, I once again tried to find a good hamburger...I love good burgers. I wasn't again disappointed at the expensive place! A family of four- thirty-five to fifty dollars for a meal! Outrageous. Ironically, the cook, smashed all the juice out of the burger, leaving it try. Then he piles all the condiments in the middle of the sandwich, patties off the side of the bun, tons of lettuce! It really doesn't take much to build a good burger but not at this five guys. The place was empty, clean....wonder why! The best part of our dinner was the fries-good. Burger King has a better flavored burger at a much cheaper price. If not for a corporate ownership, this place would be closed.

Folks who have never dined at this franchise will get sticker shock when they see the menu prices…read more It was always more expensive than the usual burger chains, but now even more so. A double smashed cheeseburger with everything, small fry and a Diet Coke came to over $23 bucks! My husband and I split this meal as the portion size could easily feed two. The staff was humming when we walked in, everyone was busy taking and preparing orders. It seemed like a pretty well oiled machine considering this location just opened. No question, Five Guys knows how to do burgers and fries. The meat was juicy and the toppings were incredibly fresh tasting. It was a big and messy undertaking to take a bite but worth it. The fresh cut russets are always good but this time they were exceptional - Beautifully browned, crispy and full of potato flavor. No doubt quality ingredients but the prices... hmmm a bit hard to swallow.
