As a family with 2 working parents we especially appreciate the fact that the office is extremely well-run. You won't get endlessly transferred and forced to waste a chunk of your day playing phone tag with four different people. Whoever answers the phone will help you, and if they say they will look into something and call you back they will actually do so, and do so promptly. I would recommend the Goddard school without qualification to anyone and everyone looking to give their children a top-notch educational experience.

He is definitely ready for Kindergarten at his public school. The curriculum is challenging enough to keep the children's attention, but appropriate to their age so that your child can progress and feel confident. My son's teacher, Ms. Kathy, kept the class on track, adding creative and imaginative aspects to the topic at hand. The assistant, Alexa, was very nurturing and patient with my high energy child. Summer camp was a welcome change with field trips and special presenters to keep things fun.

After enrolling my son in Goddard I came for 3 visits an hour each the week before he started in the infant room. I came home from each visit feeling uncomfortable. The issues that I had were with the teachers lack of communication. When I brought 4 bottles and gave his teacher exact times to feed him and I came to pick up my son and found he was only fed two bottles in the morning. He was laying on the tile floor on his back screaming. I was told that they didnt know when to feed him because the other teacher had left so they didn't. When I went to tell the director mrs. Jean she wanted me to speak on the phone with the head teacher. At this point I was feeding my son who hadn't been feed for several hours and was crying in hunger and she was upset I refused to stop feeding him to talk to the teacher on the phone. Another issue I had was my son was put to sleep in his swing when I asked that he not be Ms. Jean said I would need to address it with the teacher myself. I found my child was put to sleep in his crib covered in spit up (his outfit was dirty under his sleep sack). One of the teachers offten picks up the babies by their arms and calls them stupid. I never felt comfortable leaving my son here and after two weeks on the day I found my son wasn't fed we left the owner walked me to my car saying the tuition was nonrefundable.

We were in Detroit for…read morea wedding and needed child care for six rambunctious kids ranging from 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old. We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare! I especially am away from home more as my company is a partner with FEMA to transport aid/supplies to areas of need during this Pandemic. We have used a nanny in our home for 15 years. Some have been found by a family friend, word-of-mouth, Care and Nanny Services. As with any family who utilize a Nanny there are stories. But the story for us has stopped with Lena. Comparing our experiences with what we have encountered with Lena is like night and day. Knowing first hand the service you will experience with Lena is very hard to come by.
