I booked a party here and all went well. My kids and their friends had a blast. The young ladies they have on staff were all so kind, attentive, and helpful. Appreciate their positive energy. I'd like to note that their policy allows for entrance 10m before party time, but not after? Strange. I had a 2-hour party and I believe it should have been strongly discouraged for a party of my size. I didn't anticipate how rushed it would feel, nor that overage time would be charged by the minute at the end. While I understand their policy and did read about it beforehand, I would have appreciated a clearer recommendation during our initial communications. Given the size of my party (and I had extra people I didn't expect to show up come), more time was realistically needed for setup and breakdown, and a heads-up from peek a boo team would have been helpful, as they are the professionals. read more

I frequent this place because it's nearby, parking is convenient, and there is enough to do for a couple of hours in a safe indoor place. It costs $18 per child for a full day with ins and outs (only weekdays) which is great if you have freedom during the week. It''s $14 per child under 1 years old which is pricey in my opinion however they are free if they are accompanied by a paid sibling. Really no reason to bring a kid under one here unless you're trying to entertain an older sibling. They say there's only 1 adult per child playing but me and my husband have come with just one kid before. Need to have peek-a-boo factory socks which are $3. Here's what they list on their website along with my comments: Junior Play Area (3 - 12 yrs old)- I'd say 12 is a little on the older side for what they have. Ideally 3-8 although I'm sure 8+ kids will have fun. Just hard when there are mostly younger kids around. Toddler/Baby Play Area (0 - 3 yrs old): here there are a couple of slides which kids like, a wood train set that doesn't have correct pieces to piece together (but not many kids will notice), a magnetic wall with gears that adults have to fix for the kids since they are usually pulled apart, very little food for the play kitchen which looks a little dirty, some velcro shapes that don't stick very well to the wall, and the glow up pegs you can stick into the board. It's hard to tell that they light up since the area is well lit in general. There are some duplos with a small lego table and some large cushion lego pieces you can help the kids play with if you are hands on. There's also a music section but sometimes the wall pieces are broken, as well as a large mat piano. Overall, not the best area for 0-3 year olds but it will keep them busy while their older siblings play. Rock Wall- I've never seen anyone on this and wonder if it's just for parties. It's a fairly narrow climb so straightforward. Interactive Games- they are setting up more and more of these money makers and making them flashy and loud to get kids attention. I don't really enjoy these but they include a whack-a-mole, a mini air hockey table, a motorcycle ride that they've had forever with tom from tom and jerry, a stomping game, and a couple of aiming type games. It's overpriced and I'd rather see other options that don't dig into pockets. Huge Party Room- I haven't had a party here so can't say much. Snack Bar- nice to have an option for rushed parents but everything is marked well up. Includes apple sauce pouches, honest juice, and bunch of other packaged snacks from $1+ Parents Seating Area- ample seating on cushions or chairs with small circular tables. Water Fountains- near bathrooms which are large and tidy single rooms. Free WiFi- works fine. Free Indoor Parking Lot- one of the hugest perks of this place. Overall, we like this place and come monthly for its convenience. I think it would be better if they revamped the toddler section and considered something other than the dollar arcade machines. They also have a section of treats/coin machines near the bathrooms, but I would rather see an interactive wall or something educational/interesting. read more

Came here for the first time with my boy and he loved it. Melissa welcomed us in as soon as we walked in and was very kind and informative. I was so excited to learn that they have a 3 and under play area aside from the main play place. My boy was so entertained for the whole hour we were there. We even got to go down the big kid slides once the other families left. We had the whole place to ourselves for about 30 mins. We chose this place for my son's birthday party because it was clean, close to our house, and he loved the play structure. The only complaint I have is about the staff member who was in charge of our party. My husband overheard her arguing with a coworker about whose turn it was to work the next day, and she even used a curse word--with kids around. It was clear she wasn't in the mood to work. She was literally dragging her feet and gave very short responses when I tried to speak with her. It was the girl with afro hair who looked like she might still be in high school. When it was time for her to assist with our party, some of my guests were standing in her way. Instead of kindly asking them to move, she just stood there silently until they noticed and stepped aside, which created a negative vibe I really didn't appreciate. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! It was my first time planning a birthday party for my son and there were a large number of guests attending so I was extremely overwhelmed. I worked with Melissa on the party planning and she provided a lot of tips and reassured me that her and her team would be assisting throughout the party. On the day of the party they set up everything in the party room! The decorations, plates, food, etc. It allowed me to be able to enjoy play time with my son and allowed me to mingle and catch up with the parents. And after the party was over, with a blink of an eye, everything was all cleaned up. :) I find that it's difficult to find good customer service these days so I wanted to point out that the staff I've encountered were all REALLY friendly and I can't thank Melissa enough for a stress-free party. Would highly recommend Peek-a-Boo Factory for a party or even a drop-in with your kids. The play structure is very spacious so I rarely had to crawl to play in there with my son. Pretty cool little place in Daly City for toddlers to come to. They have a separate area for those three and under to play in and not get caught up in the other areas. They also do reservations so you can have birthday events there or other things you want. In terms of the larger areas, it's also open to teenagers so sometimes it might be too much for the young ones. Best to keep the kiddos away from the big kids when they play. We hired face painting and let the kids run wild. :-) There is also rock climbing in the far back corner and a toddler area in case there are little ones. The space is spotless and they always keep it super clean. We purchased the premium package that included decorations so everything was pretty much already set up for us. Staff is so nice and extremely helpful! There's free parking in the garage - just make sure to pull up your car to the gate and it'll automatically open. We had a blast playing here - I don't know who had more fun, me or my son. We got lucky - we didn't have a reservation but the front desk staff allowed us to be the last ones they let in, even though they had already reached capacity. They have a dedicated toddler play area here or the bigger, main play area you can go into. We spent most of our time in the main area which had a ton of activities for any energetic toddler to enjoy (and equally as fun for adults). Our favorite area was the ramp where you can slide down on an inflatable raft. My son kept wanting to go back for more. For only $12, you can get pretty much unlimited play time which is a good deal. You can also purchase some snacks onsite if you want to take a break. Note that their grippy socks are required - you can purchase a pair for $3 during your first visit and just make sure you bring these back when you visit again. I'm not sure how often they clean/sanitize their equipment though - some of the plastic screens seemed to be overly greasy from the hands of many little tots and tykes which wasn't a pleasant thing to think about. read more

I recently visited the Peek-a-Boo Factory in Daly City with my son, and while I've always appreciated how clean the facility is and how much fun my kids have there, I had a deeply concerning experience during this visit. My son was playing on the second story near the entrance to the slide area when he fell through a net that was supposed to be fully closed and intact. He fell from the second story to the landing below. Thankfully, as far as I know, he is okay, but the situation could have been far worse. We immediately filed an incident report with the staff, but I feel compelled to share this experience so other parents are aware. Yes, it's a clean and fun place for kids, but after this incident, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable bringing them back. I know this is a one-in-a-million kind of thing, and it sucks that it happened to us, but it's a reminder to double-check the safety of play structures--even in places we assume are safe. I truly hope management takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects and maintains all safety features to ensure this doesn't happen to another family. read more

We've been here 2 or 3 times for birthday parties. Pros: Parties here seem pretty organized and the party room is spacious. Looks like you get an inflatable throne as the bday kid. There's a pretty cool climbing wall near the play area! Decent tot zone with block tables and wall toys, light pegs, and small climbing structures. Everything is in one room, manageable size for supervising your kids, but not too cluttered. Cons: Parking lot is small and shared with residential and other businesses. The location of the parking wasn't the most clear - Pass the storefront and use the under-building plaza parking structure which is free. The main big slide is covered with little anti-climb pegs which make it impossible for kids to 1) use it without sliding down in a tube and 2) climb back up. I can see why you might want to do that, but the tubes are huge and us parents ended up having to do all the hauling of tubes to the top of the slide. Has a few arcade games in the front which some kids get really into (e.g. claw games) - prepare for kiddo meltdown if you didn't bring your quarters. read more

It's my worst experience ever in my life. I'm supper regret I choose this location to celebrate my kid's birthday. When I book the birthday party I choose the deluxe package, also I update two extra pizza. However when i get there , I ask is ok I let the kids eat first, they said No, if you eat in the room you cannot play inside, I ask them can we eat early they came out? They said No. I say all of the kids hungry they said you can purchase snack we do sell snack, OMG I know Covid let everywhere make money so hard, but this way to make money is not cool. Second after 1.2 hours wait, our pizza coming, but only 2 pizza, when I ask they said they do t know, even they want to call their manager to solve problems, seriously ? What kind of customer service you guys provide??? Third, when my guest put their shoes in from of the shoes shelf , after most of them take off their shoes play inside, one of the girl said I have to tell everyone bring their shoes to the back door which they have a very tiny shoe shelf . It totally make everyone feel very uncomfortable. Last for the piñata , they told us if we can they charge $25 which I let my piñata on the floor to open, OMG, so unbelievable. Recommend: after spend over $1200 only for 3 hours not that worth, there is a lot indoor playground, I recommend whoever looking for the party please do more research before you go. I've taken my kids here pre pandemic and recently. I like that they've always been cleaned even before. There's an area for toddlers and kids. This past January, my son held his birthday party here. Right now they only do private parties which is nice. It was easy to reserve online and they communicated well. All the party info is available on their website or if you want to order through their vendors or you want to bring your own food. When we got there the day of the party, everything was setup. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. If you want to have a longer party than the usual 2-hour reservation, you also have an option to do that. Yes it's not the cheapest but if you're willing to spend a little bit money for a party, I recommend this place. read more

I went there for a relative's bday party recently. I have been to 20+ parties in play/party facilities across the Bay Area. I know the drills in these places. In my opinion, this place failed in delivering in many ways. I good party facility would have a party coordinator and clear communication of the party timetable to the guests and the hosts (I.e. duration of playtime, eating time, cake cutting time and end of party instructions). This place had none of those. The guests arrived and were told to do the sign-in and waiver. Nothing else. Then children went to play while adults were socializing. Later someone came and said we had to leave play area and head to the dining room. The food was waiting for us but no coordinator there. Other places would have someone serving the food to expedite the process. Instead, the hosts and their family were serving the guests. Meanwhile, the workers there were loading the fridge inside the room with the next party's beverages and told us to not touch them. So, someone had to stay near the fridge to stop people trying to open it. All at sudden, a worker came and said we still had 10 min to leave. What? 1/3 of guests were not even done eating. No bday song and cake cutting yet. And of course, the host had to cut the cake and serve. Guests sang and swallowed the cake ASAP. Remember no instructions at the beginning? Our guests didn't know where to exit. Some went thru the front and walked into others people playtime. Some left thru the back exit. No time to say goodbyes. At the end, it was all a disorganized, rushed and unpleasant experience. At this point the hosts were clearly unhappy. *No communication. No service. The hosts worked for hours. It still charged gratuity. One star for the indoor parking. read more

I had my child's party here a few months ago and was hesitant after reading some of the hit or miss reviews. I feel like the staff kind of kept to themselves after checking us in, but our overall experience was pretty good. There was one girl who was very attentive during our party room time. She helped cut the cake for 50+ guests and even cleaned up without being prompted to. We ended up parking on the street, but in the invitation mentioned to guests that a parking garage was available. Parking ended up being a bit confusing for some guests. It wasn't specified online that the parking garage door would be closed and that you had to move past the keypad to get it to open. The garage also had numbered spaces which guests were confused about, but per staff, it was okay to park in them. If that was specific on the website and for party bookings, that would save the hassle of having to answer phone calls/text messages while prepping especially for first time visitors. The only other thing I thought didn't make much sense was having us leave through the other end of the building once we were done because they provided us rolling carts and in order to leave through the other side of the building you have to go down some stairs. We had a lot of things to walk back to the car so that didn't help much. read more

This place is definitely going on my list of favorite indoor play spaces. So many great things to do!!! The tube slide was my son's absolute favorite. He must've had me drag the tube up for him at least 30+ times during the 3 hours we were there. I actually got quite a good workout and worked up a sweat doing it because it's got some weight to it. The pure joy and laughter of all the kids going down this thing was priceless! I went down with him a handful of times and I have to admit that I may have enjoyed it more than he did. This is the first and only tube slide I've ever seen out of all the indoor play spaces we've been to around the Bay Area so definitely come check this place out. The rest of the play structure was awesome too. There was a zip line, different slides, and the set up reminded me of an American Ninja Warrior obstacle course. Lots of things to climb and turn and jump and maneuver around and REALLY GET SOME ENERGY OUT. For those parents who have very spirited kids like I do with very high activity needs every day, this is the place to come! There is a smaller play area for the littles under 3 with a smaller slide, train table, lego table, magnetic shapes wall, spinning cogs wall and giant light bright peg wall. There are also giant foam LEGO blocks that are good for building and climbing. Since there were no babies, I let my 3 year old play here for a bit and he loved this area. It was great to get some down time from running around but still kept him very engaged and busy. Came on a weekday and it was the perfect amount of kids. Not too crowded but still enough children for my boy to make a couple friends and have someone to play with while we were there. I can see this place getting packed on weekends or on rainy days. If you are like me and aren't a fan of big crowds, definitely come check this place out during the week. I can see this place being less of a value for parents with much younger kids. I'd say for $14, you'd want your child to be at least 2.5yrs old so they can take advantage of both play structures and the tube slide with your help. If your kid is 3 or over, set them loose and relax. There are plenty of tables and free WiFi. There is a huge selection of snacks and beverages to choose from. They're all grab and go so don't plan on eating a meal here. Both bathrooms were clean and spacious. Lots of cubbies to hold your personal things plus lockers with locks for rent. Parking in the garage was free and plentiful which is always a huge plus. I hate having to pay for parking or having to move the darn car every two hours because of timing restrictions. read more

I've seen a lot of reviews stating this place 'looks clean', I disagree. It looks like the play fixtures haven't been cleaned since they opened!! Thick dust and debris covered much of the top surfaces. We had our own grippy socks , but we're informed we needed to buy their grippy socks for $3 a pair. The staff member was very nice. We went at a not too busy time and thought that it would be fun since it's not too crowded. There was one child running around unattended screaming in the faces of younger children if they tried to enter certain play areas. The mom was oblivious and allowed her kid to bully the other children. I finally had to redirect this child as she was starting in on my own kids. Lousy 'parenting', but this kind of thing happens. read more

We went there for the 4pm-5pm slot time. We arrived a little early, at about 3:45pm. There was literally nobody there. They tried to charge us an extra $4.00 per kid for 15 minutes. What a rip off! Love the new location!! We used to go to the West Portal location and parking was always hard and expensive. Parking here is free and plentiful. The new location is all new and clean and well-kept. The play structure seems a little smaller than the old one but if so, only by a little. My four year old loves this place and my older tweens could enjoy it for a little but not often. The toddler area is really cute and well done. Toddler area is for three and under. They have super cute sticky socks and sell a great selection of snacks. All kids are required to wear sticky socks but you can bring your own! Plan ahead or pay $2 for theirs. There is street parking that is always pretty easy. Wifi signs are posted on the walls for easy access. read more
