My kid loves the Kiddo Adventure Indoor Playground, she calls it the place with the purple balls. We go to a lot of indoor playrooms and she seems to like this one the most now. Maybe it's because it has it's own mini Target check stand and mini market. There are slides and ball pits of pink and purple balls. The place was an absolute madhouse on the weekend, but we still found places to sit and hang out while she played. Another reason that I love it? The fun neighborhood, I can do my shopping or walk around Central Park while my partner watches her. I can multi-task and that's another reason to love this location! ;) read more

My 6-year-old absolutely loves indoor playgrounds, and we've been to just about all of them--Peek-A-Boo Factory, Luv 2 Play, Jolly Roger, Funtropolous...you name it! We were excited to check out Kiddo Adventure and overall enjoyed trying somewhere new. The play structure itself is colorful, modern, and visually appealing. My son especially loved the bright LED-lit slides and the slides that emptied into the ball pit. It definitely has some unique features that make it fun for kids. That said, the biggest drawback for us was how crowded and cramped it felt. We visited on a weekend, and there were back-to-back birthday parties. As soon as one party ended, the staff quickly transitioned to the next one, so there never seemed to be a break in the crowds. The play structure became very busy, especially around the ball pit, where kids were constantly bumping into one another. At times, it felt a little chaotic and not as safe as I would have liked. I think the space would benefit from being a bit larger to better accommodate the number of children, particularly during birthday party hours. While we appreciated the design and attractions, the overall experience felt a little too hectic for our family's preference. I'm glad we visited and don't regret checking it out, but it's probably a one-time visit for us. Took my daughters here on a no school, rainy day. It was PACKED. I think the space is too small for a play place. The entrance and front desk area was very cramped- too many people trying to get in and out at the same time. There's a small seating area for parents. They have ride on toys but not much space to ride around. The slides are small. The ball pit takes up a big part of the play area. This place would be best for kids who are old enough to play and roam around on their own but not too old to be too big for the structure and toys. I took my toddler and infant on a Sunday afternoon for walk-in play. Check-in was easy (I had done the waiver online already). Small place and there was a birthday party going on so it was a little crowded but to be expected for a weekend afternoon. There are two single room bathrooms and even had slippers next to the doors. My 3 year old enjoyed the ball pit and Target area. I liked that there was a small area dedicated for babies. However, when I was nursing my infant on the side of the Target play area while supervising my toddler playing, an employee came up to me and said I could not breastfeed there and had to breastfeed in the BATHROOM . I offered to breastfeed in the dining area (where other people were eating). The employee said no and repeated that I had to use the bathroom. I asked if there was a chair in the bathroom (I knew there was none) and the employee paused and said they could provide one. Then another employee came to me and said I could nurse my infant in an unused party room. Interfering with breastfeeding is actually illegal under California Civil Code section 43.3. It is concerning that a business that is children-centered does not know about breastfeeding protections and thinks it's acceptable that babies eat in the bathroom where people pee/poop. Would it be acceptable that any adult or child eat in a bathroom? It's also illegal for the business to force nursing mothers to go somewhere private to nurse. I understand there is no food/drink in the play area but the lobby is the designated place for food and drink so that should have been acceptable. I am hoping management sees this review and reads up on California civil code protecting a breastfeeding mother's right to nurse in public. My toddler did have a fun experience here and I have already recommended this place to others. read more

One of the cleanest indoor kid play spaces we've visited in the Bay Area. The space is on the smaller side, but they do make effective use of the space they have. There are swings, slides, a ball pit with interactive game screen, electric cars, building blocks, grocery store with checkout machine, and small areas for infants as well. The party rooms looked tidy and accommodating. The design is well thought out, and my 10 month old and 2.5 year old had a great time. We will be back. This place is super cute! Metered parking on 4th so plan for that. I brought my 4 and 5yo here on a weekday and it was pretty busy. I do think the experience is best for children under 5. It's very clean which is a plus. There is a nice lobby with seating area for parents/visitors. The bathrooms are clean as well. Socks are required for entry for adults and children and can be purchased for $3. There is a shaved ice bar inside, which is a nice touch. They also sell some small snack, and drinks. They do have a two hour max for open play, but I'm not sure how this is enforced. My only complaint is that there are a couple of motorized bikes that the kids enjoy but there are only 2 of them and some kids stayed on them for 15 to 20 minutes so others could not get a turn. I feel staff should monitor this a little bit better. Also you can only access the bathroom by going through the play gym area and adults are required to pay a fee to enter the play gym. If you only stay in the lobby, you do not need to pay the adult fee. read more

A (new) indoor playground that combines elements of other indoor playgrounds in the area to offer a sanitary, versatile, fun experience for the kids. You are greeted with a giant, inviting ball pit that comes with a flashing, carnival-style slide. The play structure is a few stories tall, but not so big that you can't still keep an eye on your kid at all times as they move throughout. There are lots of benches around the structure for parents to sit down at, and they also have seating outside the play area that is more cafe style, where you can have food and drinks. Behind the structure you have a small 3 and under baby play area as well as a mini shopping store where kids can use their imagination to pretend they are checking out groceries. There is an indoor track that circles around the play structure where you can ride some cars. And of course, you can't forget to throw some balls at digital zombies or feed balls up the tubes and wait for the giant ball drop once the device up top gets full. Your ticket allows for 2 hours of open play. A good option to come to as a parent if you need to help your kids burn off some energy while you take a bit of a breather. read more

We hosted a 4th birthday party for my daughter at Kiddo Adventure and had the best experience. We had a smaller party of 10 kids and everyone had a blast. Our party ran from 2:30-4:30pm. I was able to bring a fruit/veggie platter myself as well as cake. You can order any food (like pizza), snacks and drinks through them. They served all the kids and adults and helped us take family pictures to capture the memories. It was the easiest and most pleasant experience I've had as the host. You pick the theme and they do a fantastic job decorating. It's not the bare minimum decoration - there are many details and honestly a much better job than what I could do. The play space itself is new and really fun, even my older daughters had fun, but the sweet spot for target age is likely under 7. There are many cute IG worthy spots to take pictures and the play features are really fun from light up slides to wobbly balance bridges and bouncy seats. The interactive video game screen where you can throw balls from the pit was also a crowd pleaser. My youngest could usually be found in one of the many cars or in the back where they have a market kitchen with target checkout counter. Overall, highly recommend and really glad to have this in the neighborhood. The care and service from management and staff were truly a highlight. read more

Stopped by Kiddo Adventure awhile ago witmy daughter along with my other friend & two kids definitely had a good time as this was both of ours first time here! It's nice that you can reserve a time ahead of time but they do accept walk-ins! The facility was overall very clean and the workers are very welcoming. It does get very crowded especially during the opening hours and some kids can be a bit aggressive so there is also an area for kids under 2 to enjoy the little kitchen space or the other section with soft blocks. Cool indoor playground! We came here for a birthday party--it was very organized. We had access to the whole playground without any other people, then we had pizza and then a little more playtime. There are ride on toys, slides, ball pit, play kitchen. Kids who are not fully potty trained should be in a diaper ;) overall a great time and the staff was wonderful ensuring we stayed on time. Went to Kiddo Adventure yesterday for the first time and my daughter (2.5 yo) had a great time! Maybe because it was a Thursday and most kids have gone back to school after Spring breaks but when we got there around 11 am it was not that busy. We were able to go walk-in without a reservation, and I did the waiver at home prior to arriving. It did get a little more busy closer to noon with older children. It reminds me of some indoor playrooms that they have in Japan- it's cleanly and I appreciate that it is a no-shoes facility. Our family excitedly waited for this place to open, and now that it's here it's already one of our favorite places! There's so much to do, and the space is clean and well organized. The play structure is spacious enough that parents can accompany smaller kids that might need some help. The owners are so kind and make an effort to get to know the families who come to play there. TOP TIER PLAYGROUND EXPERIENCE As a stay-at-home mother, I'm always looking for fun places for my toddler and me to enjoy--especially on days when the weather or park cleanliness isn't ideal. Out of curiosity, I searched for an indoor playground, and this was the first place that came up. It's located in San Mateo and is conveniently centered in the Peninsula. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner. He was welcoming, informative, and explained everything we needed to know. At first glance, the space looked new, tidy, and very clean--impressive considering how many children were there. The owner clearly takes great care of the place. Once my toddler and I stepped past the little gate, it felt like a mini amusement park for him. They have every toy you could imagine for a young child to explore, plus a ball pit and a small jungle gym. We have plenty of toys at home, but they can become overwhelming and end up unused. Now that I've found this place, I feel like I can finally start decluttering at home because he gets so much stimulation and variety here. There are ride-on cars and motorcycles that actually work, a pretend kitchen, a mini Target checkout area, and everything has lights, sounds, and buttons that function. There's something for toddlers all the way up to about age 12 or even 15, depending on the child. I love that everything is padded, so if my toddler takes a natural tumble, it doesn't hurt. The ball pit is amazing, and the slides with lights inside are such a fun touch. Honestly, this is a stay-at-home mother's dream--and really, any parent's dream--if you want your child to stay active, play independently, and explore safely. Another thing I really appreciated was how clean the bathrooms were. They even provide little slippers to wear inside so you don't walk in with just socks. For their grand opening in January, they're also adding a slushy machine and a small food-court area. There's a dedicated space where you can step out of the play area to sit, have a snack, or take a break. They also have memberships that I think is worth it! Way above expectations! I am a busy working mom and I'm always grumpy around the degree to which I have to plan my kids' birthday parties with little help from my spouse and family. Kiddo went above and beyond, the decorations were better than I could do myself, the remembered all the little things like lighters, candles, and serving utensils. The even helped cut and serve the cake! My only nit is that the food needs to be ordered from Mountain Mike's pizza, I don't think that the parents loved it. We held my daughter's 3rd birthday party here back in November right when they first opened, and I was honestly blown away by how amazing everything turned out right off the bat. I have to admit, I put them in a tough spot--I reached out super last-minute, only 5 or 6 days before the actual birthday. I felt terrible giving them such short lead time, but they were incredibly gracious and eager to make it work. She managed the setup and the flow of the event perfectly, which completely took the mental burden off of me. It was truly a full-service experience. They handled the food, drinks, and goodie bags. They even had a huge list of themes to choose from (they had the exact Mario theme my daughter wanted!). I barely had to lift a finger--literally the only things I brought were the birthday cake and two trays of fruit and veggies. The facilities were pristine, and the guests had a blast. Several parents actually told me their kids wanted to come back and that they want to book their own parties here now.
