I enjoyed browsing through the entire store. Lots of unique items, beautiful leather purses, and seasonal items. This diminutive spot adjacent to the Blissfield Antique Mall gives a nice impression upon entering. It's well done and has some unusual selections. This last observation then segues into my wife's comments that she relayed to me after talking with the owner. She (the owner) opened this shop because the craft show activity in the area has been greatly mitigated due to issues related to COVID. This establishment gives local crafters an outlet for their wares, and there are one-of-a-kind offerings that can be found throughout. My wife bought a beautifully decorated birdhouse for a steal (barely above the price of the materials). If you're looking for an unusual gift, this is a terrific place to look for one.

The staff member I encountered was both gracious and courteous. They carry a wide range of merchandise with no particular rhyme or reason, but it all flows, seamlessly. I loved the energy and vibe of the store. There is street parking on either side of the street. I purchased a tshirt on this visit and declared I'd be back to look around and shop again. Perhaps the most notable thing about the boutique store, there is a food pantry donation center located just outside the front entrance. Stop in, if you can, and bring a canned good or 2 if you can spare it.

She even had a big selection of throw back candy that takes you back to your childhood. The place is very clean but social distancing isn't practiced except for hand sanitizer. I love to explore and this site came up on Yelp when looking for things to do close to Pokagon State Park. It did not disappoint. The facility was a few miles from the Park. It's a short drive from the highway or Angola and just outside of Fremont. Nothing too far. The entrance was well marked and to her to the site you drive down a long graveled lane. There is ample parking just outside the gift shop which connects to a small cafe that serves Buffalo burgers with chips. There are restrooms located close to the parking lot which make it very convenient. A wood chipped walkway leads to the gift shop entrance where tickets can be purchased for a bumpy truck trailer ride into the field. There riders are just feet or inches away from the bison herd. It is evident the staff love their work and the animals they care for and/ or support. From the young, pleasant gentlemen in the gift shop who ran to ensure we didn't miss the last tour, to the cafe attendant who upon request gave free apples to young attendees, to our guide, "Three Paws", who lovingly answered all questions and provided detailed information about the bison. The relationships between everyone was friendly and familial-like. The star of the show; however, are the bison. Getting to see this once endangered animals up close and personal is rare. Knowing the part they played in history took me back to a time long ago. It is obvious the owner recognizes their importance and is doing his part to preserve it. Kudos to him and his staff.
