This guy is an utterly remorseless bully and a multiple repeat offender who habitually defrauds people by deception. Just look at all the reviews detailing how and what he does. Each one describes the same M.O., which I am also about to do. We happen to have a friend in common, someone I trusted, so I thought this guy's OK. I hired him to fix my 17-year-old daughter's car up as a Christmas gift. When she and I met him in Sept. '24, he talked a lot about God, how this was such a blessing, and how he studied theology. He texted me a day or two later to say he had found the perfect matching carpet and parts and would order them immediately and could I go ahead and send $1200 to cover those, so I did. Later, he asked for another $400. But he never updated me that the parts were purchased or any details about any work in progress, so I started thinking something was fishy. I asked him to send me a line-item estimate of all parts & materials purchased along with estimate of labor costs he anticipated. He never sent any such estimate. Finally after putting me off several times, I went to his shop on a Saturday when he wasn't there. My car was sitting on his lot in exactly the same position I left it. NOTHING had been done to the vehicle whatsoever, inside or out. (By the way, he left my car unlocked on his lot!) I took photos that were date/time-stamped and asked him to send me copies of the receipts for his having purchased the parts so that I would be assured that he planned to do the work. He said "sure I'll send proof" but never did. I got my car back. I told him he needed to repay me the entire $1600 ASAP. This is April 21, 2025 and he has not given me any indication whatsoever he intends to repay me. In fact, when I mentioned it to him a while back he said I was bothering him for interrupting his Sunday afternoon! He acted as if I was the criminal because I wasn't "being amicable" about the situation!!!!! WTAF???? Not to mention he disappointed my daughter who was looking forward to her Christmas gift. I don't usually rate anything but places to eat but this place deserves an exception. I am in the process of restoring an old Jeep. I have had it for years and it was getting old and tired. It is not your usual daily driver in that it has no doors or top. That said, the interior was showing years of UV rays and rain. Since I have it all stripped down for painting I decided to buy new seats like the grey ones that were in it. I shopped around and saw it was going to cost $950 plus shipping to get some that I was mostly happy with so I desided to look at reupholtery. After asking around and looking at websites I settled on Peek's. It is not the most impressive place and about all I can say for the ambiance is they have a friendly cat. I dropped off the seats explaining what I wanted but gave the the OK to do as they saw fit and said I was in no real hurry and maybe red or black would look nice in my red and black Jeep. Four weeks later I went back to pick them up and I was blown away. He had painted the seat bases dark gloss black, replaced the foam and covered them with heavy black vinyl with brigbt red tuck and rolled inserts. They look far, far better than anything I could have purchased with better grade materials. Since it has no top he used boat grade materials and I could not be happier. Two bucket seats and a rear bench were $1100 and I left with a big smile on my face. GREAT PLACE! read more

Literally the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in the history of life! After Frank Peek replaced my convertible top, we waited another 27 days for him to recover the sun visors. Then when we got the car back, the new top was still leaking (clearly he had never checked) so he said he could adjust it out. After determining that he indeed could not adjust it out, he said we now needed new seals (after telling us initially that our seals were in perfect condition) and it would be another $1200. I told him to order the parts and he said it would be 10 days until they came in. FIVE WEEKS later after multiple attempts to contact him with no response, I finally went to his shop and spoke to his on Kevin and expressed my displeasure. Kevin informed me that "We are pretty much the only ones around here who do this kind of work, so you can just go ahead and me mad if you want." I ended up taking the car to a dealer 2 hours away and they had the new seals ordered, installed, scotch guarded the new top (which Frank Peek never mentioned needed to happen), and back to us in 4 days for $800 . . . $400 less than Peek was going to charge. His work is mediocre at best and his customer service is horrible. Do not use this shop, definitely find someone else read more

There is no "0" stars, so they get a 1 star. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I regret ever carrying the car there. Top 3 of worst businesses I have ever dealt with. Owner - extremely rude, would not tell me the truth about when the job would be done, kept putting me off when he got the car in the shop, 4 days turned into 3 weeks, will not return calls, does not check messages left on machine. I think he is burned out and doesn't care anymore. I wish I had never met him or carried the car there. He was to do the seats and new top. Nightmare dealing with these people. Do yourself a favor and find another shop, or you will regret your decision, if you don't believe that then try it and come back and leave the review. I will not ever return nor recommend Peeks Auto Top and Interiors. Frank Peek has major issues beyond being disorganized. read more
