AVOID, not flexible about providing rough estimate, quick to anger Had done some damage to my car and went to ask for a very rough estimate (nearest $K) cash pay, no insurance. I had a favorable experience there and good insurance work done on a same make/model/style/year car 5 years ago. This time they insisted on photographing my car's VIN plate with a personal-looking smartphone, and when I said No but allowed them to take a pic of my vehicle registration card, the adjustor (a young man) told me to "go. Just go." I went back in the office to see if I could work things out, but the adjustor just stood there and said over and over, "Go. Go. Go." When I asked for name of another body shop, adjustor spelled out, very slowly, "G o o g l e." I'm elderly and ill, fearful of smartphones and tech in general, and I think they should have used a camera or at least a tablet, not a smartphone. From the way I was treated, I was expecting them to call the police and say I was trespassing, even though I believed there was opportunity to negotiate about the estimate process. The adjustor has very poor social skills, no consideration, no flexibility. Avoid, especially for cash pay. read more

I was in an accident and herd this shop was top notch. Well they were 2 months behind so they did estimate and ordered all parts while I waited for an opening. My truck was drivable so I drove till appointment date. Before I dropped off I asked to make sure ALL parts were there and was told yes. About 4 weeks went by and was called said it was ready except for decals and badge so I went up there and paint didn't match. Was missing a trim piece, center cap on wheel missing, tape all over roof where I had plastic covering door, windshield wasn't done, tailgate not done and interior still covered in dust from bodywork. Todd went over it with me and said I shouldn't have been called and he would call me when it was ready. Well I get call from insurance on day 57 saying that I needed to get my truck that it was ready. So I called Todd and he said it was. I go up there and it looks great except tint on drivers window was screwed up and badge was loose they slapped old one on there so had no tape behind it and interior was cleanish. Todd told me badge was on way and going to get tint fixed when badge arrives. Well 2 1/2 weeks later opened drivers door which was replaced and door falls halfway off truck! It was pouring down rain so not sure if paint got scratched or something else got bent up when door fell. Going over everything I have found trash in paint, door seal not attached for reused old one and half the clips that hold it on are broken also tailgate light bar isn't working.Bad thing is I don't have any other vehicle and already turned rental back in. I have to go this morning back up there to get this right. Quality control and communication isn't good at all with my experience. I will update after my truck is back in perfect shape as it was before hopefully. read more

Tiffany was outstanding and had a very lovely personality in the early morning as well as the afternoon she made the transition from drop off rental car pick up, drop off and pick up of my vehicle as smooth and painless as possible. Dropped my car off on a Tuesday and received a call Thursday evening that my vehicle was ready very fast turn around and a very friendly staff two of the most important things that I look for in a business. A bird flew in to my passenger side mirror. I had heard good things about this repair shop so decided to give them a chance. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. They got the parts in the next day, fixed the mirror while I waited and it only cost me a third of what I thought it would. I took my Tacoma to CP&C to have the fender repaired after a tree limb fell on it, bad idea, I got an estimate and a call that there looked to be some hail damage so I had them add that to the cost. These folks kept my truck for a month and when it was "ready" I found out they had replaced my front rain shields and they did not match the original, they did not install the passenger side rain shield straight, they did not fix the front grill as part of the original quote and had not painted the DS fender as quoted. So I left it with them for another week and when i got it back there was trash in the paint. I am sorry but you had my truck for a month and this is the best you could do. I think that since I was being so patient with them they put me on the back burner and took care of other customers who were screaming at them only to find they had let me got too long and then had to rush to get the repairs done. Those of you that have a good experience I am happy for you but I will never use them again. Update: The owner did call and apologize for the poor QC so perhaps my vehicle was a fluke, it has happened to me before read more

I called bc i accidentally had my car scrape the side of some very large bushes all the way down the side and i knew my husband would be upset. They told me to come on in when I could (did not have to nail down an apt). I took it right on over and the manager/estimator Tyler came out and looked at my car and said "I can help you with this". He went and got a rag and some compound they make there and wiped it in and all my scratches were practically gone. He said he could buff it (the cost he gave was a fair price), but he also said he thought with the age no one would ever know. I am grateful for his honesty and kindness. I had my car in this shop after being rear ended and after 40 days I finally go my car back - it still had issues with the paint job, lights not fitting properly, & pieces missing!! I returned to the shop with my concerns and they offered to put me in a rental to make the necessary repairs because they guaranteed 100% customer satisfaction. Once I was put in another rental- through Custom Paint Collision, I went ANOTHER 36 DAYS before getting my car back. To be honest, that is the least of my problems. Enterprise Rental called me because the shops owner (RICK) had refused to pay for the rental! The rental car the shop arranged through Enterprise to put me in to make repairs on my car that they did not do correctly! They avoided Drew at the Alabaster Enterprise location for close to 3 weeks to the point he had to go to their office. At that point, Rick told Drew to charge my card because I had one on file. The shop paid for 5 days of the rental leaving 31 days ($683.21) to be charged on my card. Basically, they blamed Travelers for not responding quickly being the reason my car sat there so long. Which is false! I spoke with the shop the week before I got my car back and they were just sending back through paint. (Which was the ONLY time during the 36 days that I spoke with anyone from that office!) The Owner, Rick, has lied repeatedly to everyone involved in the original claim, trying to place blame on everyone other than his shop failing to communicate properly and to do repairs timely & correctly. He actually told insurance agents that I refused to pick up my vehicle. He instructed me that I should call the Insurance Commissioner to file a claim on Travelers Insurance because they are responsible for it. Rick is nothing short of a bully to communicate with- I reached out to my agent (although I was hit and never filed a claim with my insurance company, only going through insurance for the guy who hit me) Jack with Nationwide, reached out to Rick trying to get a resolution to avoid me being charged for the rental and he lied over and over. Rick changed his story every time he told it. When he was called out on his lies- HE HUNG UP ON MY AGENT! Then I called back, I had my agent, Jack, on 3 way- Rick continued to bully his way through the conversation with me until I finally told him my thoughts & called him out on the lies he was telling. (compulsive liar would be an understatement!) He started yelling at me- to the point that my agent finally spoke up to stop the spiraling conversation... and he said "Just SUE ME!" and hung up on us both! This guy repeated how he had been in business for 20 years, he was the little guy and I should go after the big guy- Travelers. Well, Travelers paid for 40 days of a rental car for me to have my car repaired- correctly! His shop employee, Tyler, put me in a rental on their expense to make repairs and correct work they did poorly. This guy is going to get exactly what he yelled at me to do... I am in the process of a filing for small claims court. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau- no response from Rick on that, as of a week later. Save yourself a headache- go elsewhere for your repairs. Mary read more
