My experience with them has been their endoscopy department for the past several years. This was my first visit during the pandemic and I must say the service and the efficiency and time management all were 10/10. My appointment was for 10:15 am and I was called in sharp at 10:15 am. The staff was friendly and super attentive. Katherine did all my paperwork and the initial assessment she was friendly and quick. Charlaine was my post procedure nurse. She was so so caring and attentive. Kept checking on my every 5 mins. She figured I was a bit cold and went in and got me warm blankets twice. Of course not the forget my doctor and his team was super efficient. The place was following full covid protocols and the recovery room which is also the initial assessment room was nicely spaced out. In the main lobby they have couches, chairs and tables with spacing and there is a Tim Hortons and Ginos pizza in case you want to eat after the procedure which makes you starve for about 24 hours. The dr giving me the results had an arrangement smirk after noticing me in pain and using a wheelchair. He said there was nothing wrong at all, like I was faking. I asked him if that was mine, I said the MRI i had a yr ago showed damage in the upperspine and shoulders. It showed a broked disc in the middle of my back that has never been treated plus damage in my lower spinal area. His smirk disappeared fast, while not double checking anything and that's how it was left. He clearly didnt care about the situation. That's my experience with Credit Valley Hospital. AVOID this hospital at all cost…read more On Aug 5, 2025, Toronto Police 22nd Division took my severely delusional schizophrenic son from prison to this hospital emergency on his release from the prison. He was arrested and imprisoned because he had assaulted his older brother and me, his mother, while medicating himself with crystal meth. Almost three months time passed since that attack while he remained imprisoned without any treatment. The mental health nurses and the on-call emergency psychiatrist were all very disrespectful, rude, and angry with me. The psychiatrist literally told me and i quote "As the on-call emergency psychiatrist, my job is to admit and discharge patients." On my insistence, he kept my son overnight in the emergency mental health unit but released him the next morning before 10 AM without any assessment or treatment. My son and I walked out of the hospital together. My son is as much delusional as he was if not more delusional at the time he was arrested and imprisoned. I am helplessly watching my son being killed by the government that is eagerly punishing mentally ill people while denying them the treatment and care they deserve.

And I'm afraid to say that neither one was helpful. They told me the wait time was 30 mins... And I sat around for a lot longer than that. The sole reason this place gets a 2 stars instead of 1 is because the doctor was actually nice. Ankie tip: I don't recommend this place but if you do end up going, feel free to use the Pizza Pizza wifi from right beside. The clinic doesn't have their own and the Pizza Pizza signal comes in strong. And it helps you kill some time. Personally, I took my work laptop along and got some work done during my wait.

They always have a dr on-call. So if you are sick and need to see a dr. You can call them for to be seen by on-call dr. But the catch is you need to call then 8 AM in the morning and rven by 8:07 they get fully booked for the day. And since it is a shared space sometimes the staff doesn't takes your calls and emails seriously and there is a communication gap which hurts the patients. But in general all the dr. are very good and caring. They were very helpful during Covid and with a Newborn at that time, all dr. Were providing us support and care.

My previous experiences with this hospital were not very good at all, quite the opposite and in the negative. This experience was much better, was able to hop around and find a wheelchair no problem. The staff were super friendly and worked with a sense of urgency, when it all was said and done, the visit took about 3 hours, the only thing that I have negative to say was that the doctor at the time read my xray wrong and I got a phone call the next day telling me very bad news. The hospital was very clean and bright. Lots of parking on site Transit options are the 123 and 80 buses, and the 15 with a bit of a walk from the mall.

An urgent care centre (UCC) provides care for non emergency injuries and personal health issues. Sprains, cuts, rashes, broken fingers etc for example, as well as blocked catheters, urinary retention and post surgical complications if needed. Emergency care is provided at another site, as is inpatient care. This site provides investigative and pre operative work up, as well as rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. An army of knowledgeable volunteers and clerical staff ensure you are seen in good time. The UCC practices triage, so less urgent cases may wait a long time for treatment. These cases could probably get seen at a walk in clinic or at their own doctors. Properly utilized this can be a one stop shop. Before I retired as an RN I referred patients here appropriately and they received good care. My wife had her follow up care here after her knee replacement, and I have cardiac investigations done here. The one down side? The cost of parking, although options are available to reduce the cost for frequent attenders.
