I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.

The results were great the first time, however the last two times, I wasn't overly impressed.I thought maybe it was just the 2nd time or the tech and would try again with someone else, but that didn't help. The girls who did my lashes are nice and friendly, it's the service the 2nd and 3rd time that wasn't great. My lashes I could see that some were missed on the tint (not dyed black) and some lashes, especially outer corner were not lifted, so it did look strange that some were done and the rest not? I paid and left and then examied in my car since the lighting was allot better (the lighting in the rooms are very dim) and noticed some lashes were missed. I was tempted to go back in and mention it but honestly the girls at the front desk weren't overly friendly and didn't want the grief from them since they didn't seem like the customer service driven type. I did wait a few days and went somewhere else to get them re-tinted since they were not able to do a lift till they grew out. I don't think I will give this place a 4th chance since the last two times the service wasn't that great and I wasn't happy with the results, especially since I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

Jenifer was absolutely perfect masseuse. When we checked in we were asked to choose out " breakfast" on our itinerary it said breakfast i was expecting breakfast. My sister and I have stomach issues we can't eat any spice so we opted for a charcuterie board and we split it between the two of us. There was a lot of stuff on the charcuterie board but nothing you could possibly eat for a "breakfast" it was more of a brunch with no breakfast food. We left most of it behind as we couldn't eat that for breakfast as our first meal of the day. So we were out of our massages by 10:00 we were allowed to go into the hot tub but there was a sign that said you could only be in the hot tub for 15 minutes so there's 15 minutes taken up, but then we still had to wait till 11:30 for some food i don't know about you but as an older person I have to eat before that. So what do you do while waiting for any type of nourishment in a spa. We decided to ask for our meal sooner than later so that we could leave when the charcuterie board arrived we just looked at each other thinking there isn't anything we could possibly eat on here for breakfast. We ate the grapes and a couple of crackers and left the rest which for $58 for two Sparkling Waters and one charcuterie board that was very small i just didn't think it was worth the money. So I feel that if you're going to go to a spa get a great massage and possibly a meal that is deserving of a spa for that much money go somewhere else where your money goes further. Atmosphere: amazing, clean and modern. Has several different rooms like a cafe lounge to have your lunch. A serenity room which is a super cozy place to just lay back and read a book after your massage. A waiting room with amazing assortment of snacks such as mixed nuts, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, homemade granola. They also have an espresso machine there. There are around 15 masseuse working the day I went because the place was very full in the waiting lounge which was a downside. They have a steam shower in the ladies room and a hot tub which I love! I wish there was also a coed one for me and my husband to meet up and hangout in but i can live without that. Don't even bother bringing your husband here this is the best place for YOU time. I did a whole 6 hour spa day here. Moisture drench body treatment - amazing! Fell asleep. A therapeutic massage Also great! A moisture drench facial - TOP NOTCH the girl had the best massage techniques I've seen. Seriously still water spa should sponsor meeeeee!!!! I can't say enough good things about it.

Had I thought about doing this even one day ahead of the meeting, I would have been able to book a blissful 90 minute service with super skilled therapist "Emily" versus the 30 minutes of what was left of her time when I called a mere 20 minutes before! The facility is small but perfectly cozy and amenable to all of your needs including organic teas (with the coolest steeping devices I have ever seen and that is coming from a "tea snob"!) and cookies in the waiting lounge, five shower heads in the stalls (that was a first for me) and a scrumptious steam room with what smelled like a combo of rosemary and orange oils sifting thru my senses. None of this would have mattered however if the massage I booked were lousy. Quite the contrary, Emily was...and I say this with a decent amount of experience behind me in this regard, thee BEST massage I've ever had hands down (no pun intended)!!! Not only was the pressure just precisely what I needed for my chronically aching lower back, she used no annoying elbows or otherwise jolting body parts to make her point. Here's the huge kicker: I ordinarily find any sort of conversation beyond "how's the pressure?" during a massage to be the opposite of relaxing. I actually had a good conversation with Emily *while* being perfectly relaxed; didn't even know that was possible. Though with the exchange rate, the 30 minutes + facility use was on the steeper end, this was definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal that was for the best. And besides, I was on vacation! Such a shame I live 25,000km away.
