The instructor Courtney was great and patient and explained a lot of the moves and terminology to the kids in a fun way. The owner Liz was there as well and was very friendly and enthusiastic. This Studio is less than 30 days old, and they already have a schedule full of classes for adults and one for kids. Can't wait to check out a class during my stay here on Kiawah Island. I took Jennifer, Lauren, and Steven's classes and they were all excellent, with their own unique style's accompanying their class. More importantly I was made to feel like I was part of their everyday community even though I'm not a local. I met Carrie off the bat and she was so kind and genuine. This is a gem of a place. If you are going to be visiting Kiawah, go here! They offer a daily class outside is you aren't comfortable taking an in-studio class at this time. I only regret not getting a group picture!

The instructors are busy so folks are getting frustrated and walking out. Have a family member that has been trying to sign up for over 2 weeks but phone just rings and never a body at desk to assist. There are some great instructors leaving and types of classes that are no longer being offered. Need diversity in types of classes and timing of classes reviewed. Some instructors doing exact same work out which for the longest time I can say no class was ever the same - not anymore. Many seasoned members want to to do 2 a days back to back and can't because offering classes in odd rotation. Again, love Pilates just hope this location can get a little extra attention in near future.

There's just something about Masie. The way she talks to students, the way she grows new teachers,…read morethe way she sets up the space. It's not like any other yoga studio. The space: Absent are the mirrors at other studios that tempt you to look at your body and compare it to others; in their place is the warm wood of the beautiful old space, and the calming tree and drishti painted on the walls. Masie and her staff are the ones to correct your alignment with a word or gentle touch. That way you stay focused on the practice and don't get ripped away by the outside world. The space also has a bathroom and changing room, and they offer massage in house. It feels like coming to someone's home and having a communal experience with the instructor and the other students. The classes: All levels and some more challenging classes. Masie is always learning new elements and new practices. Her curiosity is infectious, but somehow she never makes you feel foolish or intimidated because you don't know something. Her instructors are obviously chosen for what new ideas they bring as well, or a capacity to receive new ideas. You can pick up some Tai chi and Yoga Nidra among many other things in the yoga and other classes. One of my favorite was a class called moon flow where she put together a variety of lunar poses and made certain "Yin" tweaks to postures (like looking down instead of up, which is yang). It was such a little change that made the practice seem new and fresh and slightly spiritual. The instructors: Masie is obviously the center of this universe. Her radiance draws you in and sustains you throughout classes. She is thoughtful without being stoic, loving without being insipid, and firm without being judgmental. The teachers that work for her obviously all feel it too, and everyone she hires seems to pick up at least part of what makes her such a great teacher. She completely changed my outlook on yoga because of her wholistic approach. The studio somehow manages to be genuinely inspiring instead of a collection of fitness models spouting a string of platitudes like so many other places. Some of her instructors are very experienced, and some are homegrown by Masie. All of them share this mindset of a whole mind-body-spirit practice that is never too much of any one good thing. I used to come here after work, and I too have arrived too late for class. I was disappointed but it's best for everyone - I needed those few minutes before beginning to unwind and get ready. There were times I've been so exhausted from the day that the practice would take me straight from the helter skelter into relaxed bliss. Don't skip coming to class. Leave early. Talk to the other students and the instructor. Be open and friendly before class. Learn about yoga and yourself. Did I mention there was amazing relaxing retreats to beautiful places like Hawaii and Arizona and North Carolina?

The environment is , professional, and a great community of individuals who understands what it takes to into a working professional's life. Whereas I often fell off the wagon regarding my fitness in years past, Hustle One has helped me to remain consistent. I am in the best shape of my life. Everyone that works there works for YOU. The group classes are great because you have that attention of a trainer in a small group and you end up building kind of a community with it. They also offer nutrition coaching, personal training, lifting classes, and sometimes yoga. People see and get results here. I feel so comfortable as a member of this gym and the accountability is there. Plus, River, the puppy, is there sometimes which is an ultimate plus. While it's a gym that's open to the outside, classes are roughly 45 min. Definitely give this place a try for a super well rounded place. I couldn't ask for a better gym.

The instructors and workers learn your name and fitness goals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the gym was open as much as it could be, safely. Masks were required when the city mask mandate was in effect, and group fitness classes were spaced out and limited, with online reservations. The good thing about a 24 hour gym membership is that you can go when it's less crowded and weird hours of the day. My husband and I were both able to keep up our fitness routines this way. Now, the gym is back to fully capacity and offers group fitness classes again. There's also a new turf and sled as well as a new glute machine and additional free weights, all added within the last year. All equipment is in great shape, and I've never seen a machine out of order. The cardio machines have personal viewing screens, so you can watch Netflix on the elliptical or treadmill. No matter what your fitness level is, you'll fit in at Zoo Health Club. Whether you like classes, personal training, or work out on your own, you can meet your goals here.
