The piano hadn't been tuned in 40 years and had been moved cross country It sounded pretty awful! Randall agreed to take on the project, letting me know that he couldn't promise perfection. He gently took the piano apart, removing the action to take with him to his shop. He reshaped all the hammers, replaced all the bridal straps, repaired a few missing key laminates and did a full tuning on the piano. He did this all for just under $300. He'll also be replacing the dampening felt when he can get it in stock. Randall and his assistant put the piano back together, he then sat down and played. It brought tears to my eyes to hear beautiful sounds coming from my piano again. Besides being a skilled technician, Randall is also a gifted musician and composer.
