Horrible. We booked for a full day to help us pack. Then another day to help us move. They came out and walked the house and gave us a quote. At the time they said they would probably need 2 trucks but then showed up with just a dually truck and trailer and then asked us to rent a UHaul. We rented a UHaul for $500 for them to use and they asked us to add one of the guys as an authorized driver. We did this but then when they showed up it wasnt even the person they asked us to add as an authorized driver that was driving the vehicle. They took furniture apart to move it but then did not reassemble it. Everything they did not reassemble we realized was because it was missing all the screws they took out. One item was a $1500 motorized desk for work and now it doesnt work at all. We ended up having to buy $5000 in furniture due to the furniture they ruined. The house we were moving out of they cracked all the brick by the front door. We moved into a brand new construction home that was brand new and they scuffed the walls so much that I have to have paint and drywall work done to repair which I was quoted at $1900 to get done. The guys were really nice, but their moving skills are poor. We marked certain boxes to go to certain bedrooms and they just put them wherever they wanted. Same with the TVs. They told us they couldn't carry a bed up the stairs so we had to do it ourselves the next day. Total for 14 hours work and 5 hours drive time was $4950, plus I had to rent the Uhaul for $500 plus $100 gas, plus the $6900 in damages I have to fix the total cost of this move was $12,450. IF YOU EVER COME ACROSS THIS COMPANY RUN! Next time I will go with Suddath or one of the big reputable companies that have experiencing packing, unpacking, disassembly and REASSEMBLY of furniture. read more

This company seemed nice up front, but they will be careless with your property and not even apologize for it. They'll scratch your floors, dent your belongings, and even damage doors and walls while taking ZERO responsibility for it. Absolute waste of time and money!! read more

We moved twice and Ajax Movers William and his team moved us and we had an excellent experience compared to all the moves we have had before. They got everything we wanted safe. they installed back our furniture and treated the walls, doors corners of the house well as while moving the heavy furniture. we did not have any scratches either on furniture or walls of our home. if we move again we would call William and his team everytime. Terrible! I had used them in the past and they were fine. Booked them for yesterday and they told me for 5 hours they would be there in two hours. Then the lady in the office "Dawn" yelled at me and cussed me out for taking her this is unacceptable. I couldn't move at 8pm. Then she told me that's what I get for booking at the last minute. I booked this like a week ago. If I could give them zero stars I would. Use them at your own risk. read more

I haven't left a review in forever but felt the need to share how great my experience was with Jax ASAP Movers. Dawn was super helpful via email, answering all of my questions and giving me a price estimate beforehand. She was also able to accommodate a very last-minute request to reschedule to earlier in the week, which was great. The two men that helped us out showed up on time, got straight to work, protected door frames and wrapped furniture, and were very polite. They did the entire move (disassembly, furniture move, drive, furniture unload, reassembly) in about two hours flat. All of that, and for a very affordable price. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a moving company in town. read more

I had scheduled another mover initially, Mikes Miracle Movers, which were not so miracle and ironically Jax ASAP literally lived up to its name after the scheduled lame duck backed out. William, the owner, is very professional and knows how to get things moved efficiently. His assistant, Ray, was a great team player as well. Not only were they able to fit me in last minute but were reasonably priced and did the move without complaining. They had great sense of humors and made it friendly throughout the process. These guys are our new heroes! We had to fire the first company we hired when they tried to double the price. I called Jax Asap Movers and they were able to move us quickly with a competitive price. PLUS when the company that was supposed to flatbed one of our cars to the Tampa area pooped out on us, William went & hired a flatbed car carrier to tow the car for us, again with a competitive price. They guys & Dawn were amazing. They started at 9 a.m., loaded everything carefully, drove to Tampa and unloaded all in the same day. They left at midnight. And all of this was in the pouring rain (in Jax, driving & in Tampa). I tipped them well and they sincerely deserved it. I highly recommend them! read more

Jax ASAP movers were such professionals and did an amazing job!! They were on time, wrapped up my select pieces of furniture and moved them quickly and very carefully. They were also able to move this incredibly heavy and large bookshelf upstairs which was difficult due to the height restrictions and turns in the stairway, they were friendly and I would highly recommend them!! read more

BEWARE!! Do you not use this mover! 1) they took twice as long as they had given me an estimate for. 2) they broke the top of an antique mirror refunding only $20 and I have an estimate of $75 to get it repaired. 3) they also got a chair dirty. 4) They were made aware prior that there was an antique armoire that came apart in pieces and would need to be taken apart and put back together and I was told no problem. They desperately struggled putting it back together. When I began to unpack and put my clothes in it, it just about fell on me and was unstable and dangerous. I was concerned for myself, damaging the walls,damaging the piece any further. When I called about it to have them come back out and put it together properly because it was unsafe I got nothing but the runaround. They wanted to claim that it was never stable to begin with. I've owned a piece for 30 years and seen it taken apart and put back together many times and where I moved from it was there for 11 years in the same spot with no problems. They simply had no intentions of coming out and rectifying the problem. My solution to the problem was for them to come out and fix it themselves since I paid them good money to do it and it was unsafe. Her solution to the problem was they didn't really want to mess with it anymore and they wanted to pay me off with less than what it would cost for me to hire someone else not including the stress and inconvenience to me. I did not want money back I wanted them to come put it together properly as they paid for to begin with. When I got angry & frustrated, which I had absolutely every right to be and I'm not an unreasonable person, because they left me an older single woman high and dry during the Cov 19 to then try to find someone else to come put it back together correctly, she hung up on me refusing then to even pay because I said I would report them BBB which they deserve at this point to be reported to whom ever I can report them too. She also wanted to claim I signed off on the move so it was ok as if I had some esp it wasn't together properly and I knew it was going on come apart on me. I'm not one to normally write reviews but this was beyond a poor & unacceptable experience. I would NEVER recommend them 15 yrs experience or not! They were nice and polite until there was a problem they did not want to address or they only wanted to address their way. read more
