The entire staff from receptionist to Veterinarian are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. How they are able to calm my pets amazes me. Also, the Vets are so gentle and calm handling my critters. Probably why my critters are so calm too. My cats show no signs of stress, whatsoever, during the exam. I have an appointment to bring in one of my cats in for a rabies shot soon. So, my only complaint I have with this facility is that they won't come to my home and help me put my critters in their carrying bags. They were trying to place blame on our family instead of taking accountability. This is not the FIRST time they bungled my pets surgery. The first time I gave grace for what happened. Not this time. I called them and they said they could not mail the prescription and that I would need to come back in and pick it up when I signed their heartworm waiver (they did not mention this at our appointment). I went back 2 days later, signed the waiver, and again requested my prescription. They stated there would be a $10 charge to write the prescription since I was not ordering it through THEIR website and that I could pick it up tomorrow because they did not have time to write it up. So, the next day I had to go back to them for the prescription! 3 trips for my 1 dog! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!

After digging out of the yard, the dog was caught by a neighbor and taken to East Side Veterinary Clinic. The clinic contacted the owner and reported she was in critical condition, unable to walk, with a temperature of 104°F. (A dog's temperature can reach 104°F or higher from overheating due to exercise, especially during hot weather or in situations where they are unable to cool themselves effectively. Both of these were factors that day.) They recommended $1,500 in testing or relinquishment of the dog. When the owner's family arrived, The dog walked to them and appeared alert. They paid $220 and took her to their regular veterinarian, who examined her and confirmed she was healthy and able to go home. Contrary to what East Side claims...no police or authorities were ever involved. Based on what I observed, the clinic's assessment did not match the dog's actual condition, and the communication left the owners feeling pressured. Pet owners rely on veterinary clinics for accurate, transparent care, and in this instance, that standard was not met. 8/16/25 UPDATED REVIEW: I was not there at the vet and I am not the daughter of the owner. I was at the same class the two of them were. I overheard the conversation between the owner and East Side. I heard the $1500 quote. No number under $1500 was discussed. It was $1500 for diagnostics that was quoted. My classmate said she "appreciated what was done so far. I need to get eyes on my dog to see how she is for myself". She was very worried for her dog and only spoke with concern, no hostility. The police, IF they were called, never showed up. More empty threats and lies. And they well know they did not offer a refund. They said, "We WERE going to offer a refund but now we are not". So it was rescinded before it was even offered. I have no desire to call and discuss this with anyone there since accurate statements are a foreign concept to their company. However, I will keep responding to the lies that are continuing to be told. And I will be sharing my testimony with anyone who will hear since I live in this community. You might say my husband and I were anti-boarding. We'd never read about a boarding service that…read moreseemed like it would be as good for our dog as it was convenient for us. Play All Day, though, is a totally different kind of boarding. The dogs are active throughout the day, both with other animals and with the people who work here. April is great with dogs of all sorts of personalities, matching them up with other dogs they'll like, and gradually helping them warm up to the new environment. Our dog was very nervous about the daycare/boarding, but she worked with him over several visits, and by the time we picked up him after a 10+ night stay, he... well, he was happy to see us, but I don't think he really wanted to go home! The services here are more expensive than at many other boarding facilities, but we found that it's ultimately an awesome value for the great care that they provide, and the knowledge that our dog isn't just getting fed and let out to potty, but is actually having a great time. We will definitely be using Play All Day again and would recommend to absolutely any dog owner to try them out for daycare or boarding.

My dog has been going to PAD for a year and a half now and I'm writing this review as I'm on…read morevacation and she's at daycare. I would not hesitate for one second to call and ask if she can come to daycare for any reason. We're wanting to take a vacation, call PAD. We wanted to go to the fair for a day and had no one to let her out at home, called PAD. They really are like a second home to our dog and I'm so glad I called and got on the waiting list when she was only 10 weeks old. We used to use the vet's boarding in town for my older dog and it was awful because he was in a typical concrete kennel with dog barking echoing in his ears for 24 hours a day, only being let out to potty a few times a day. I did not want this for my young dog so I looked for alternatives and this is the complete opposite at PAD. My dog is only crated at nap time and bed time, just like it would be at my house and I know she's so tired from running crazy all day that she probably gets in her crate at daycare and goes right to sleep. Daycare is a 50 minute drive for us one-way and as soon as we turn onto Carver Ln, she's pacing back and forth because she knows we're almost there. We walk in, they say hi to Ruby and she's already racing towards the play door. This is a heart-felt review and I feel like when I drop her off, sounds silly, but it's like dropping a toddler off at grandma's house. You know she'll be taken care of and you don't worry that she's getting into things.
