I've been ordering from them for years through a few owners. The food is generally always good. This week I tried something different than my usual selection. The double sautéed pork was so delicious I ordered it two days in a row. They are known for great portions and good food. Definitely recommend them. read more

They have great service. This is the go to sit down Chinese restaurant for me and the wife. It has nice dim ambiance perfect for a romantic date night. It's great and well lit with natural light at lunch. As they have great lunch specials. But back to the meal at hand, supper. My usual start is Egg drop soup, crispy noodles, and egg rolls. Good stuff. I have had other apps and they're good, but these are the go toos. As for the entree, Mongolian beef is my top choice. Sure, the Mu Shoo pork is good. The Beef broccoli is worth a try. Sesame chicken, Peking Chicken, General Tso, and Sweet and Sour chicken, are all righteous hits. House Lo Mein is fire, and House Fried rice is the bomb. Best in Columbus, in my opinion. Also, the wait is not that long. But at the end of the day, there's just something special about the Mongolian Beef here. It's so hard not to get it. And doggonit, there's none left for a pic! I have ate at Peking for years, during Covid I continued to try and support them and encourage other to as well. Went there today, passed several other places to go there. Went in set down. Their lunch menu stops at 3:00, he got to our table it was 3:04 and he would not let us order off the lunch menu. Really not that big of a deal but he just pissed me off with a no caring attitude. The service was really quick and the people were so nice, but my Szechuan beef was closer to a brown gravy than any Chinese food I've had before. It was missing some sour or sweet or salt or anything really. I'm really sad because I've been wanting some good spicy, sweet, salty Szechuan, but it was spicy brown gravy at best. read more

This is the best chinese restaurant, literally. The restaurant was cozy, the staff was so welcoming, and the dishes we got were perfect comfort food! I'm in Los Angeles, CA now which has a lot of amazing asian restaurants, but I still crave the dishes from THIS place. I wouldn't trust the other negative reviews because everything was delicious, and I've had pretty authentic chinese food. Some people just don't know quality when they try it and you can only blame their bad taste and uncultured taste buds! I understand that COVID is hindering a lot of restaurants and businesses, but this is possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered the "spicy" szechuan chicken and egg rolls. The food tasted bland and had no flavor. The egg rolls were over done and soggy in the middle. The food came in a common takeout container and it consisted of watery vegetables and chicken. When I say that there were no spices, I am staying that it tasted like someone boiled some chicken and random vegetables they found outside and threw it is a container and sold it. The only reason that I gave it two stars was because they were super nice and gave me extra chopsticks. I will not patronize this establishment again and I recommend that you shouldn't either. read more

My wife and I have eaten here twice, and we can't get enough. Don't let the exterior fool you! Not much too see from the entrance, but once inside it is cozy and comfortable. Everything is clean and service is exceptional. We usually start off with the wonton soup. Just a cup individually, or a bowl if you want to share. Probably the best we've ever tried. We've also tried the steamed dumplings and egg rolls, both divine. The also have your typical selection of domestic beers, although they do have a Japanese and Chinese beer that isn't common in the Golden Triangle. Their sushi is what keeps us coming back though. The YumYum roll, Peking roll, and volcano roll are to die for. Portions are large enough for two so be careful when ordering. read more

I grew up in Columbus, MS but currently reside in TX and hadn't been to this restaurant in more than 15 years before today. I have traveled all over the United States and a few countries but have never found better Chinese food than this place. Peking is the king of Chinese food and the sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. I could eat it for days. Everything they do is good but beef skewers, fried rice, Mongolian beef and s&s chicken are exceptional. I hope this place creates a chain that spreads across many states because what they do should go farther than Columbus. I'm just glad to see it still in business after 20+ years and grateful for having visited the finest establishment for Chinese food in the world. read more

The usual Chinese food fare. Great prices for lunch. $5.95 gets you a choice of soup, an eggroll, your main dish and fried rice. The food is good and the service is great. Great for a quick lunch during the work week. Dinner is quite a bit pricier with the same amount of food so I would stick to lunch. Unless of course a giant pupu platter is worth the extra cash to you. This is easily our favorite Chinese Food in the area. read more

The sesame chicken is good, thick pieces of chicken, unlike some Chinese places where they give you the "spare parts" type of chicken. Their sushi was mediocre. I got the Philadelphia roll and the salmon was good in it and I really enjoyed that they didn't load it down with rice like some places do. The fried rice was a little subpar and I really didn't like that they don't let you substitute lo mein for the rice, even for a couple dollars up charge. We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and the meat was cold throughout. I stopped the waiter to tell her about it and she said "sorry". Then came back to the table and asked if we wanted only one chicken wing to replace it. I told her all of them were probably cold and we didn't want it anymore.
