My daughter loves coming to this park because it's well kept, you can ride scooters and bicycles that have been donated to the park and you just leave it there once you're done using it. The also have a track around the park for runners and people who want to walk with a view. Besides the playgrounds, there are also baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts and everything is in immaculate condition. I don't see any cons at all for this park and like I said it's the best one I've see so far in New Hampshire. If you and your kids are looking for a new park, be sure to give this one a try. It has it all, trust me!

Other favorites: swings, tall structure with multiple slides(and slide types) and a large climbing structure. A favorite among many families in the area - I was shocked to not see it on a yelp page. They are working on the field part so unable to kite fly like before but would imagine it would be opening soon. There's a small loop around the field as well for a quick stroll. Plenty of parking to be found and couple of picnic tables throughout including a few under a covered structure. There's also a small business that looks like it has snacks(fairly new but prior to the new owners it was a coffee shop). I only wish they had restrooms but they do have port a potties.

This park is great for children. It's a mere mile north of downtown Nashua. Follow Main Street…read morenorth and it turns into Concord Street. The park is on both sides of the street. On the left side of the street, there's a wading pool that's clean and well maintained. Just yards/meters away from that is a good playground - slides, swings and a climbing structure. It's fairly shaded, too (the pool area isn't). Just yards away in the other direction is a bathroom building. This is a real bathroom with real running water,not portapotties, has a male and a female section. The rest is a huge open area surrounded on its edges by lots of picnic tables and bbq pits. On the right side of the street, there is an open-air stage. They do Shakespeare in the park and many other events that are all free. They show movies on Friday nights at sundown during the summer. Just prior to the movie, they have some or other kids' entertainer. Beyond that, there are tennis courts and a baseball diamond. This is a place to take the kids.

There are fields for baseball, soccer, and a mini football field, as well as a nice long walking track around them. I really like that everything is open for visibility's sake, so I don't have to work hard to keep an eye on my kids, even from all the way across the park. It makes it somewhat hot without any shade, but it's not too bad since everyone is getting soaked on the splash pad anyhow. My only complaint is that it's pretty crowded here for much of the summer, so you have to keep a close eye on the little ones so they don't get run over by the bigger kids.

Barbells, band saws, cymbals, farm implements -- all welded together in artistic ways that guide you along the path. Meanwhile, flora and fauna of unique varieties abound. Benches and chairs here and there. We strolled along and spent about 90 minutes doing the loop on the grounds. So much to see, so many deep breaths to take, plenty of picnic spots. Good bathrooms, interesting gifts, something for all ages. Hidden gem.
