Sweet outdoor but covered terrace on second floor, that was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet is on site but expensive, so be prepared. There is a coffee place on the first floor (in the same building as the hotel, but separate from it) if that's your style. Only real complaint: zero housekeeping for a 4 day stay, even though I requested every 2 days. Good thing I re-used the towels and was staying alone.

The reception staff was very friendly and efficient. Check in was smooth and simple. The property is very well maintained. I shared a 2 bed room with my son and while the double beds are a little short for us (we're both 6'3") they were very comfortable. One touch I really enjoy - 4 standard sized pillows, per bed! I'm so annoyed with the little throw type pillows, that so many places seem to be using now. There was a full kitchen, with sink, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and stove. Cabinets filled with dishes, glasses, cups and silverware. Granite countertop. Dining table with seating for 4. The bathrooms are really small and we both hit our heads on the wall towel rack, but they are very functional and I appreciate the extra space allotted to the living area. Great shops and restaurants are literally located just outside your door, as is a wonderful park with paddle ball courts, splash pad and an incredible outdoor gym. Your stay won't be complete until you go to Florio's for breakfast and a gorgeous Hollywood sunrise!

No coffee available in the hotel at all. You have to walk to the broadwalk and pay $5 for a lousy bitter cup of coffee. I expectEd better for $350 a night. I will not be back.

You can find gelato or icecream. The broadwalk is also near two public parks that have picnick tables and bbq grill. They have restrooms. One of the parks have a water foundation thing for the little ones. And a pattle board court. There is always something to do here. Finding parking here is crazy. Sometimes they have shuttles that can take you here so you can avoid the stress of finding parking. I would look into it.

It's walking distance to many shops and restaruants (Primanti Bros and Parrot Lounge were our choices). Two minor issues: it took a very long time for hot water to arrive in the shower and the cable worked Saturday night, but not Sunday morning. Be careful when booking with this hotel and especially on Booking.com. They will immediately charge your credit card and will not remove it! I have asked several times for the charges to be removed. Below is the email I received from Booking.com. "Your reservation at Soleado Hotel is now canceled. You don't need to do anything else, but if you have questions for the property, feel free to contact them at +1954-565-5559 ." I have contacted Soleado Hotel on several occasions and I received the message below: You just got a new message from Soleado Hotel Property's message: "you have to cancel your reservation in Booking . com" So if Booking.com stated "you don't need to do anything, your reservation is now canceled." And Soleado Hotel stated, "you have to cancel your reservation in Booking.com." So which is it? How do I get my refund? Be careful, unless you want to be billed immediately and your money not refunded after 30 days! I will never use Booking.com again as this is the second time this has happened to me with two different hotels!
