Needs a little kitchen updates as far as cooking supplies if you are planning on cooking in your unit. They used to have everything you needed but not anymore. We couldn't get a large frying pan or a baking pan for the oven. Needed a cutting board too. Otherwise it has three pools and the beach, but could use more umbrellas around the pools.

Have a time share here and love enjoying all the amenities available from the hot tub to the laundry room , cooking fish chicken ribs on the grills by the pool , Diane at the front guess was super information and friendly . This place earns its 5 stars without a doubt ! Clean rooms with cable and wifi . Complete kitchen ready to prepare whatever you decide to cook .

Great location, great price, great amenities, quiet, 3 pools (one heated), 2 hot tubs, lots of rooms remodeled and elegant, overall clean, ample outlets, walls not too thin, plush towels, decent hot water showers, beach towels provided, nice restaurant next door, lighthouse in walking distance, free parking, some clerks friendly/helpful, maintenance works quickly/onsite, great balcony, tall loungers, great bed, beautiful gardens. Had an excellent stay. Highly recommend. CONS. advertised activities didn't occur (if you care it matters, if you don't care, no biggie), elevator floor always filthy, one pool designated "owners only", never told about fitness area, no food onsite, no daily cleaning service (ok by me), water had sulfur odor some days, wifi only worked on balconies, noisy a/c, toilet seat was mismatched to toilet and not comfortable, construction next door (noises). All these are typical condo stuff. The worst "con" was the reservation specialist did not get my reservation to the condo/owners so I arrived with "no reservation". Thankfully I had confirmation on my phone. They wanted to up price $70 but negotiated within $4 of my original quote (but shame on Ms. Gibbs who messed up). NOTE: Grounds are wheelchair/scooter accessible. Balcony and shower are step-up or step down, bathroom door not wide enuf for chair, shower bars not placed right for all, hot tub steps too deep for leg disabled but they do have an auto-chair if needed. So try at your own risk. Those with milder issues will be fine.

Great place to stay with your family. Very quite, staff is really nice, specially the lady at the front desk. Everything is very well organized and oriented for guests. Units are fully renovated, clean and very well supplied with everything.

Spent lots of time this summer at La Costa Beach Resort. Renovations are in full swing but hotel staff tries their best to please and accommodate you. The newly renovated units are absolutely beautiful. I love spending time here it's my home away from home.

How much to rent chairs Cabana?

LaCosta does not rent chairs, you will have to go two buildings south there is a hut that sells chairs and cabanas, they will bring them where ever you want, I think it's about 20 dollars or close to it, they have a price chart there so you can see…

Baseboards were filthy every visit, and the bathroom cleaning felt questionable (never quite confidence-inspiring). Parking is a consistent headache. The lot is a block over, and exiting with the plate reader is nearly impossible. The QR code only worked once across four stays, so plan on frustration. There are several destination EV chargers in the lot actual hotel round shaped lot , but they're useless--any car is allowed to park in those spots, so they've been blocked every single time I've been here. Don't count on charging. Front-desk service is the same person every visit and remains the same: zero smile, no hello, no please or thank you. Just the transactional "ID... use your card over here." It's impersonal and chilly. Breakfast is geared toward little kids and is mediocre for everyone else--always cold. Skip it and walk across the street for something better. The saving graces are the price (genuinely solid value) and the location. You're right near cool local spots and restaurants, which makes the stay workable if you're mainly using the hotel as a convenient, affordable base.Would I return? Only if the rate is low and I don't need reliable parking or charging. The location and cost keep it from being a complete write-off, but the cleanliness lapses, parking mess, blocked EV spots, and robotic desk service drag the experience down.aa

I just left the hotel after spending two nights there for a staycation. I was very pleased with my…read morestay. The hotel is made of two towers. I was in the southern tower room 5509. It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

Housekeeping staff are super kind, and anything we needed arrived quickly! The negative: Don't waste your money! We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.

The main pool had plenty of seating, a water slide, and a little kids areas. The rooms were spacious, especially for our large family. We had a two-bedroom unit with a full kitchen, separate living area, and generous bathrooms. The extra square footage made a big difference. There were a couple of minor downsides. Some of the common areas and resort amenities felt a bit dated. There was also an elicit or in the main building that was out of service. Our room did not have a washer and dryer but there was a nearby laundry room. All in all, a solid 4-star resort that delivered on space and pool variety. Great value for a relaxing Florida vacation!

Nice, big spacious room & we took full advantage of the kitchen since we got groceries, u have a shopping center across the street from the back part of the resort. nice small balcony over looking the mini golf, nice hot tub & good toiletries to use. As for the property it's cute, a bit outdated the place can probably use a facelift but overall not bad specially for the time frame we were there. 2 good size pools, both have hot tubs, there's a bar area outside but that was not open during the day seemed to be more later on. Across the way in the front of the resort u have the gym, spa & a nice lake area to check out. Overall this was a nice stay for us.

Unbeknownst to them, I was sitting in the lobby listening to 3 staff members complain about who should have to bring them to our room. Low standard of service all around. My biggest complaint (and many others I talked with) is the pool and hot tub close at a rediculous hour, 8 pm. If you're spending thousands to go somewhere warm, you'd kinda like to be outside at night. Not at this place. They will kick you out at 8 pm promptly. Our 14 year old had nothing to do after 8 pm. nor did we. Their bar area is more like a cafe' environment. This place is suited for families with very young children who want to be in their room before the sun goes down. Housekeeping did not leave any towels or garbage bags one day. Never refilled coffee. Don't even get me started on grabbing a beat up, ripped pool lounger. They are all claimed with towels by 9 am and many sit empty all day. Food and drinks are way overpriced. One burger, a quesadilla and a cocktail for lunch came to $68. We didn't bring a car as we learned last time about the astronomical parking fees. The beds are old and saggy. Bathroom lighting is lacking. Water pressure is on the low side and no foot bar for the ladies to groom. Balconies are nice and roomy. Kitchen area and washer/dryer are bonuses. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub hours are a deal breaker for me. Won't be back.
