On a hot summer day this place is a delight. I have passed this place so many times on my way to my family member's home and just never stopped to check it out. I finally hit them up because this particular night was blazing hot. They have all kind of flavors. They actually shaved ice that they add flavors to. It was good for the time it lasted. Pelican's is a super cute neighborhood snowball spot. It's a converted garage that offers an open air concept. There is plenty of benches for seating in front and in the kiddie area The kid play area is covered and has doors that can be pulled up or let down. They flavor list is extensive and they offer signature combinations. The parking lot is free and has about 30 spaces. The line moved fast and the staff was very efficient. The flavors we had were guava and tigers blood-DELICIOUS, vanilla cola and cherry-Great, shark attack- he loved it and rainbow. All were hits. We will definitely be back. Sooooo I'm gonna start by saying this. I did not care for snow cones. My wife saw the location and thought it looked cute and would be an opportunity for us to get out the house for a little. I only purchased a snowball just to say I tried it. These things completely changed my outlook on snow cones. I'm so used to the flavorless crushed ice concoction you get in a flimsy cone at block parties or carnivals. This is not that!!! The Food: There was a ton of flavor options for every pallet. The ice is not super thick which makes for a better bite in my opinion. It also allows the flavor to soak into the ice. There are 3-4 sizes and they are all affordable. The service: There was a long line when we pulled up but the workers expedited each sale and kept the lines moving. The ambience: It a huge pink building that you can't miss. The breeze is amazing at night and it's a great spot to bring your family and friends. There is no indoor seating but I like it. They could have some music but that doesn't take away from the experience. Go check this spot out ASAP!! Ps. I couldn't wait to eat my cone so the pick doesn't do the cone any justice. No ice cream stuffing but they do have sweetened condensed milk. Lots of good suggestions for kids and some cool toppings. My girls and I visit Pelican's snowballs for the first time yesterday 9-05. We had three snowballs regular to butterfly kisses and gon fishing both flavors was good. I absolutely love this place. It's the most fantastic hangout spot. The prices are amazing and don't get me started on the staff. They couldn't get better. Every person that works there has the very best customer service. Few days ago I visited this place and was greeted by this young lady, very professional-- she could tell my husband and I couldn't decide between flavors before even asking she offered to give us samples. That's what I'm talking about seeing how she could help. We ended up getting both flavors. Then we sat on the beautiful and clean sitting area and enjoyed the weather and while we were there we saw how she was working and interacting with the guests. I have passed this place hundreds of times. Tonight my daughter wanted a sno ball so we loaded up and took the dog with us. When we got there we left Halo (the dog) in the car (windows cracked of course) went to order. While looking at all of the many flavors I noticed a pup cup...... AWESOME IDEA! The kids got Halo out and he enjoyed his chicken broth flavored snowball. The staff was super friendly and the play area is also pretty freaking cool. It was a great place to cool down with snowcones and a family friendly atmosphere, there was games for the kiddos to do while we waited in line. I did have a problem with my order but they fixed it right away and apologized.
