Avoid them if you can. I had a Pella insured glass break. Not only did it take several months to get an appointment, but when they arrived, they had the wrong part. This was their fault as they determined it was covered under warranty and inspected the damage. Now they wish to schedule the fix over 3 months out. This is now the second time this has happened. So if you can wait 6 months and pay the highest prices in the industry, you can consider them. Their techs were very polite and explained everything and even evaluated my other windows. They were 5 stars-but the company is very poorly run-as they don't really care about their customers. After the repair-will never, ever use them again. read more

Carson & Robert just finished the installation on our second phase of 5 Pella Windows. Fantastic job! They used drop cloths, plastic, and painter's tape to protect our home, and vacuumed up every little bit of dust! They carefully extracted and disposed of our old windows, and insured the windows were well seated, and weather proofed with Pella tape and caulk. See all the above detail? Lowes, who installed the first phase, did nothing of the sort- no tape, no caulk, no home protection, NADA. If you think Lowe's might save you a buck or two, they won't. Pricing is similar and you get a random installer. Carson & Robert get a second call out for installing in winter after 16 inches of snow fell, freezing temps, (18 windchill) and still presenting on time and with super professional service! read more

So I'm sure Pella will say, uh your purchase was made from another office, I'm not sure which office I used, but my experience was HORRIBLE! Started with waiting for their "contractors" to have time, two weeks later I finally received my request. Front door and French doors. My salesman convinced me to paint my own doors, without knowing what that entailed I agreed, poor education in the salesman's part. The contractor that care to install cane with his younger boy as he was in training and could do just as good a job as father? Well it took almost three days to install! Doors were great but DO NOT try and paint them yourself. I had door frames and the doors that I had to paint. Two years later the paint on the French doors is peeling? Another contractor said it was because of the heat and they are on the west side. The blinds are built into the window. And after a year one is already malfunctioned! I called Pella as the door was still under warranty the new blinds would be covered but it would cost almost $300.00 in labor?? Give me a !?/$&@:, break!!! Lesson learned do not go with Pella!!! Renewal by Anderson will be my go to!!! I would rate a half a star, but had to go with a star, half not offered! read more

The installer returned and fixed some of the issues, which resulted in a better looking install. A piece of trim is supposed to be on order now to replace the dented piece. There's still work to do on my end to make it look neater since there's a mess of caulk in a few spots. read more

Amazing customer service, above expectations. Our patio door looks great and functions well. It's the quality product we expected. The story here was how well we were treated. We love our doors & windows but our threshold pieces were not given to us at time of installation/delivery even though they were supposed to be included. We didn't realize this until a couple a couple years later. We called to inquire and they said it was too late even though they show we never received. I think this is bad service. We bought the doors so we should get those pieces regardless of time passed (we were still remodeling the patio steps and didn't know we hadn't received those at the time). They now want $200 a piece for 3 sliders, plus $200 more for labor. That's $800 for something we should have already received! We will be purchasing the rest of our windows elsewhere. read more

Pella Windows and Doors of Salt Lake City have been great to work with on our newly built home. The quality of the windows and doors are outstanding. We had quite a few windows and doors installed as well as extremely large picture windows. The installation was impeccable. When the grids on one of the windows started to pull away, we called Customer Service and the representative immediately ordered a new window. Rudy, the Service Techician, was extremely knowledgeable about replacing the window. In no time, the new window was installed. Rudy made sure the window was working perfectly. Rudy was also very respectful of our safety during this pandemic by wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing. He was a pleasure to work with on replacing the window. read more

We ordered three new doors. A new front door, back door and sliding patio door. We are delighted how the new front door looks. It is truly a work of art. Randy our installer was great. He kept the area very clean and was respectful of our house. He used drop clothes and vacuumed several times to keep dust contained. He painted all the trim pieces to match. Anytime we asked a question he answered it. They said it would take three days but they were finished in two. All of the doors are great and the sliding glass door has a retractable screen. Tyson is very knowledgable of not only windows, but so many other great tid bits about homes. His background in real estate was such an added bonus. I loved the kit he has that showed how much heat comes through windows. He was so great with my kids and dog. We decided to wait a bit on moving forward with anything and he was so patient and nice about it. He never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured. Pella has been great from start to finish. I had a problem with a door lock on a door installed 7 years ago. The service department promptly contacted me, and the next day Mike came to fix it. Mike was prompt and quickly fixed the door. It was a fantastic experience. read more
