I tore out the rear window of my LEER Legend truck-bed shell. The local dealership for LEER said they couldn't sell just the frame--I'd have to purchase a whole new window! Enter Murray Glass on 4800 South in Murray, Utah. they were able to straighten out the frame, but couldn't get a freakin' hinge from LEER to finish the job. They searched high and low for a substitute and finally settled on a stainless steel piano hinge. Putting this on was a "Hail Mary" pass! Long story short, the job ain't as pretty as I would have liked, but it works! These guys are not following the state guide lines of wearing masks and social distancing. Ryan was rude when I asked him to wear a mask. He said he didn't have a mask saying, its my body and started walking toward me. He showed up late for the appointment also saying he didn't have my phone number. I gave them my phone number when I made the appointment. I told him to come back when he had a mask. After he left he called me (I thought he was going to apologize) but he told me he would not be coming back out and was very rude again. It turned out the person that came out was one of the owners!!!!!!!!! His costumer relations suck!!!! I am 78 year old and subject to complications for C-19 so why take chances??? The office personnel were very nice and did a good job on their end. I will never use them again. I am updating this review. It turns out the person that came to my house was not the owner as I was told. The owner Kyle called me as soon as he found out this had happen. Kyle offered to replace my glass free to makeup for the anguish I went through dealing with Rxxn. He sent out two other guys to measure the window (wearing Masks). Today they installed the new glass in a very professional manner.(wearing masks) My opinion of Murray Glass has change 180 deg. From the worst to the best. A lot of businesses would not have taken the time to make this right but Kyle did. He is a first class guy and Murray Glass is the best!!! read more

Incredibly disappointing experience with Murray Glass. I re-tiled a shower, and wanted to reuse the existing glass. One section was a unique shape, so I had to have it replaced with a better fitting piece. I took it in to Murray Glass on February 24th, and was finally able to pick it up on April 24th! I went there 3 times to pick it up, the first was after 3 weeks (they said it would take 5 to 7 days) and it was apparent that they hadn't ordered it at all. The second was after a call for them telling me it was in, when I arrived they informed me that the bevel was on the wrong side, and they would have to order it again (again a rush order and only a few days). I finally received a call saying that it was done, two weeks later, so I went down on a Wednesday, only to find a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day because they didn't have computers or phones! I finally picked it up today (4/24), and expressed my discontent with my experience thus far. The lady at the front told me that the girl who took my order is gone for a week, so there is nothing they could do to try and make the situation right, ie; a discount or apology! I paid the full price for the glass and left! read more

Murray Glass provided a great product. I remodeled my bathroom and had three quotes, and Murray was competitively prices. After reading the yelp reviews, I chose them based on review and price. I had euro frameless shower doors installed, a mirror from vanity to ceiling, and a mirror for the medicine cabinet door. I was a little nervous how it would all turn out. The product is excellent. Perfect cuts, high quality flat polish, high end hardware for the euro door hinges, and I'll say perfect cuts again. I actually provided my own hardware for the shower door handle and the cabinet door handle, to match my bathroom hardware set. They accepted the request with ease. They took their time measuring (might ask them to leave their shoes at the door next time) which helped deliver a great product. My only gripe, a big one (but not enough to discount a star) is scheduling. I know custom glass takes a long time, but I was the one who was proactively reminding their staff to schedule installations (when the glass had already been cut and sitting there). The project duration lasted 3 months, and could have been shorter if their scheduling was more proactive. Their staff did not always pay attention to detail and made multiple schedule mistakes which impacted my schedule a few times. If this is a gripe for you, you might want to look at a competitor. Overall, great product, great price. Speed? Well you can't always have all three. But for something that will last a long time, I was ok with great quality and price. read more

We recently moved into a home that needed some window spring & glass work, and we had a beyond-awful experience with Jones Paint & Glass who initially said we'd need to completely replace lots of windows (instead of easily repairing the springs or replacing the glass but not the existing expensive Milgard frames), and then after sending the initial quote that was all jumbled together wouldn't even respond to emails from us or our realtor (who was paying for some of the pre-existing work and needed a separate quote for that part). Enter Murray Glass, who has been beyond-awesome to work with. Their rep showed up during the scheduled time window and proceeded to honestly tell us all the details about he various issues. He fixed several of the springs right before our eyes, and quickly took measurements and shared relevant info about what it would take to repair the rest and replace some glass (not frames!). As he was leaving he told us when the quote would be ready, and wouldn't accept any payment for his services or even a tip when we insisted! These guys know what they're doing and they do it with class, and I'm so thrilled to have found them (via a referral from Alpine Exteriors who told me upfront that they don't do repairs) after the horrible experience with Jones P&G in PG. read more

This place has to be the worst... We took two medium sized pieces of glass that belonged to our counter top that were broken in two due to the moving company...we gave them the original pieces so they could match it exactly as to how it is, also the dimensions just in case. They told us two weeks for our counter top glass to arrive and that we would be getting a call to remind us. NO one called us, so WE called and they told us it was there. We get there to pick it up, we ask to please allow us to match it with the original pieces. She was a bit hesitant to let us do that and after firmly stating that we wanted our money back she agreed to letting us match it. She let us know multiple times that it was the right size, that it was fine and that they don't make a mistake especially with the original pieces being there... GUESS WHAT...it was wrong. She apologized and said she should've made sure beforehand. Meaning she never checked, so her being hesitant and keep saying it was right and nothing to worry about was unnecessary and a lie. She felt bad and told us they would send it back again to make sure it was RIGHT this time, we agreed...people make mistakes and we decided to give them another chance. BAD IDEA!! She said it would take another two weeks and that they would give us a call once it got there, a week and a half passed, I called and they told me it was here and that they were sorry they didn't call beforehand...we get there. WRONG ORDER...we come back two days later. It's there and NO ONE called us again. I finally get to see our counter top glass, and it looked worse than the first. it was WRONG again...at this point she and he (don't know names) looked at me and had no idea what to say. So I demanded my money back and they still gave me an attitude...the heck? It's been four weeks people, you get it wrong TWICE and you're rude? Nope, not today. But they gave me my money back...reason why I'm giving them one star... Moral of the story, don't break your counter top glass and DON'T GO THERE. WASTE OF TIME and gas! read more

I had a simple job to be done--cut an existing mirror down to specific size. They quoted $5 per cut. I go to pick it up and they charge me for 2 cuts, which didn't make sense, since it should've been a single length-wise cut. I question them, they check in the back and confirm it was two, so I pay. They bring it out and I take it to my car. I inspect it and it was very clearly a single cut job. Yes, it was only 5 bucks extra, but it's more the principle of being over-charged. They also threw out the other half of the mirror they cut off. "Well, did you ask for it to be saved?", they said. They do this every day, I don't--they should ask those questions as a matter of course. read more

Awful!!! My problems with Murray Glass started when my sliding glass shower door they installed shattered on my son while showering. When I called telling them what happened, they told me it wasn't their fault and I would have to pay for a new glass door. When I explained I just wanted the entire frame and door removed all together as well as the shattered glass cleaned up, they said I would still have to pay for labor. That wasn't happening and if anything I should get a refund. I've been waiting almost a week to hear back from a manager and still no response. Frustrated and worried about the other door shattering, I ended up calling another Glass Company to come help me. They were fantastic! First of all, they asked if my son was okay and then came the very next clean up. When taking the frame apart noticed multiple scratch marks on the metal frame suggesting the door was not properly aligned on the frame causing the glass to come in contact with the metal which weakens the glass. Murray Glass lacks integrity, professionalism and accountability. Never will use again and hope this review helps in preventing this from happening to anyone else. read more

I would like to share my experience with the Murray Glass here and I recommended to stay away from this business. Don't trust the salesman, Ryan which is the owner of the business. Don't trust whatever he says about how good the job they can do to the windows, especially for repairing the seals. The two men came in spend 30 minutes total, did 10 of my windows; So you can imagine one men used an average of 6 minutes to repair each window seal. Imagine what kind of the good work your would going to get. The result, doing it fast without care they cracked one of the bigger windows and did a lousy window seal repair job on all the windows. The craftsmanship is so poor, the silicone used around the frame didn't even fill and left a gap. The worst part, they will crack your window, then you will have to pay for a new window for a whole new price. Ryan the owner with the good manner and speech in the beginning, turned in to a skillful manipulating asshole saying this is how he been doing the business for a long time; That he knows all the tricks to take care of these kinds situation. I don't care if you want to file any complaints to anyone. So, I want to give warning to everybody. read more
