In order to sell their 78 year old house, the Township, and separately, the Water Authority, required a plumbing dye test, inspection, and verification of a Backflow device. I called several plumbers and Tudi was the only company that responded quickly and explained to me how the process would work. I scheduled the inspection with the Township, but because of a misunderstanding on my part I had to reschedule, and Tudi's office staff, and their plumber, Drew, walked me through that process. Everyone at Tudi was very helpful in getting this resolved. The day of the inspection was bitterly cold and the ground was snow covered. Drew arrived early, walked me through the process and showed me what would be inspected, including the Backflow Device, the gutters, and the drains. When the Township inspectors arrived, Drew worked with them to run the tests. What should have taken at most an hour took 3 hours given the age and condition of the house and its plumbing. Drew worked extremely hard to ensure the inspection was handled appropriately. Thanks to Drew, the inspectors were able to complete the inspection and the house passed. Drew submitted a thorough report and I was very pleased by his work. Unfortunately, the Water Authority refused to pass the house. Despite Drew's report, that included the presence of the Backflow Device, that Drew personally showed to me, the Water Authority insisted the Backflow device did not exist and they would not pass the house. In response to my call for help, Drew called me at 7:30 am, told me how to send the right pictures and description to the Water Authority and gave me his direct telephone number for them to call so that he could personally explain to them that the Backflow device did indeed exist, as he had explained in his report that the Water Authority had already been given. Thanks to Drew and his professionalism, the Water Authority quickly corrected their decision and passed the house. We were able to complete the sale of the house on time. My family and I are deeply grateful to Tudi and to Drew. They worked hard to make a difficult situation work for us. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

So we bought auxullary ones. Then we find that the filters that we used for years are being sucked into the furnace. We now have to adapt and wedge the filters in place, and had to buy plastic framed ones to feep them in place.The new furnace was fit into the existing base, with some metal manipulation, and now there is a "wind tunnel" sound coming from the gaps. Also, when the heat turns off we have the banging of ductwork. Never had this before. If this is a result of Johns new installation, I would hate to have them come for a repair.

I called the owner and explained to him I hear a noise while running my AC. He refused to listen and troubleshoot. I had to call someone to do a diagnostic check on my AC and it was identified that the line set needed to adjusted back to its position. Once adjusted the noise was gone. Superior Air Duct Cleaning caused me unnecessary cost to get something fixed that they caused. Bad business model. Don't hire these people. The company that showed up first won the bid $595.00 because I did not have enough information to dispute the bill that was given to me. H & A was the first company and the invoice did not break down the parts and labor. After H & A left the other 3 companies showed up. I was apologetic for not canceling the appointments. They were all local and felt so bad that I was taken advantage of that they were not upset. They all stated that their prices would have been $225 to $315 and they were taking into consideration travel time and related expenses. I then did what I should have done in the first place and researched the parts that they replaced, which I asked them to leave (an old habit that my grandfather taught me) The part they used to replace mine retailed online anywhere between $82.49 and $125.96. That means that the blower motor that H & A had in stock in the back of their truck for just such an occasion cost me $256.26 an hour in labor to have replaced. I know Doctors that charge less. I called Harry to see if there was something that I was missing and he said that I was lucky that he didn't charge me the traveling fee??? another $89.95... He stated that he had costs that had to be accounted for such as uniforms, gas and advertising... I told him about the other prices and told him that the other contractors did not show up naked (much to my disappointment) and that they were not hauling the blower motor down the street in a shopping cart up Penn Avenue, further I said that I would help him with his advertising by posting this to my 3,000 facebook friends, Google +, Linkedin, twitter followers and Angies list of which I am a member.
