Our a/c system stopped blowing cool air. We called White Heating and they sent Shawn out that afternoon to dignose the problem. He found a bad blower motor. The new blower motor was ordered and Shawn returned the next day and completed the repair. Shawn was polite and professional. The entire process was very positive. Called for emergency service on a Sunday. An hour later the tech arrived, even though he had to finish another job first. White Heating kept me informed of his arrival time, and gave me his name. He was polite, and quickly found the problem. He didn't have the part on-hand, and had to special order it. Explained everything to me as he went. BTW, the bad review from Belinda U. makes her sound like a nightmare client, and a fool. The way a temperature sensor works means that setting the house temperature only 1 degree lower will take a long time to adjust. She doesn't actually describe anything being wrong with her furnace/AC. White handled their response to this nutjob very professionally. read more

I purchased a Lennox furnace/air condition unit September 4, 2019, because I thought it was top of the line. However, improper installation has resulted in a plethora of issues. Christmas Eve of 2022, I had no heat because water ran back into my furnace. Gary's solution was to use a rubber strap to pull up the pipe in my garage; it worked. My air conditioner runs constantly but the temperature does not drop. It was 79 outside, I put my air-conditioning thermostat on 78. It took three hours to go down 1°. Yesterday, White's best technician came out and said the unit is running as it should. If you think this is normal, buy from Whites. My neighbors bought an off brand heater/air unit for $3,000 less from another business, they have not had any problems. I've given Gary many opportunities to rectify the situation only to have it continue and receive another bill. At this point, I am cutting my losses and reaching out to another business to correct their mistakes. White Heating Inc. is five stars for sales and zero stars for installation and service. read more

Having some AC problems with it struggling to keep the house cool. The crew was able to get us scheduled pretty quickly, were punctual, and got to work quickly. They were very polite, respectful of the house, and very personable. They were quick to diagnose our system and take readings, as well as taking the time to explain the readings and what the concern limits were, so we were fully informed of the health of our system. They went over and beyond in doing some rewiring for us that the google pro had left problematic after we upgraded the thermostat. It was an easy sell to convince us to sign up for a service plan to maintain our system. The two guys did an excellent job and look forward to seeing them again in the fall. Called over a weekend with a non-emergent Problem. A central AC unit Wasn't keeping up with the heat. Monday morning early got a call from Don. They can come out that afternoon. Perfect. They called at 1:30, Terry came at 2:00. 13 year old unit down two pounds of R-22. Held my breath. No leaks, no upsell to new unit, R-22 in, checked second unit, it was good. Priced scarce R-22 fairly, fair labor, under $400. No BS, no hassle. Guess who's coming to quote me on the inevitable replacement units that I can now PLAN to do rather than be strong armed. White. Can't say enough about how Justin, Austin and the rest of the team at White Heating helped us out of a jam when our furnace went out last week. With the first cold temperatures of the season coming in, I noticed our furnace was blowing cold air. After trying a few quick fixes myself I knew I needed to call a professional to come take a look. We've previously used the folks at White and been very happy with their service, so naturally they were our first call. Given the weather and the time of year they were booked solid with other appointments and were unable to come take a look at our furnace until a few days later at the earliest. So I called several other local companies and finally found one that was available to come take a look that day. The tech from that company showed up and told us that it was likely we needed a new furnace. We were obviously very disappointed but didn't feel like we had much choice. They quoted us over $7,500 to replace the furnace. With our family freezing and other companies booked solid, we didn't feel like we had much choice but to move forward, but something still didn't quite feel right. I called White again (at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon) and told them about our experience and my general uneasiness and Justin moved heaven and earth to get someone over that afternoon to take a look and confirm what was happening with our furnace. Sure enough, Austin came to take a look and confirmed that it looked like our heat exchanger had indeed developed a crack. Justin called me back that evening to go over options for measurements and installation of a new furnace, and came out himself the next business day to get everything squared away - the total cost to have the furnace replaced by White was less than half of what the prior company had quoted us. The installation team arrived first thing the next morning and had us up and running again by lunchtime. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the process, and I can't say enough about how they went out of their way to make sure we weren't taken advantage of by a larger company. I called White Heating at 8 am because my AC stopped working the day before. Blowing fine but no cool air. I set up an appointment within an hour. The technician arrived about 45 mins later. He diagnosed the problem, replaced a bad contact, added some R-22 and did a pressure test. AC is now cooling as it should. Maybe we'll get another few years out of this 17-year-old unit. I contacted White Heating and another local company to give me a quote for a new AC Unit. The owner Gary came out from White Heating and was very nice and professional. His quote was much lower than the other company for almost the exact same unit. It was going to be a couple weeks until the new unit came in so they even sent out a technician the day I ordered the unit to see if there was anything they could do to get my old unit up and running until the new one could be installed. I was so impressed with how nice everyone was there and how they went out of there way to help me! read more

Honest, knowledgeable, and affordable service. Helped me in an emergency when my furnace stopped working overnight and the outside temperature was 0F and my inside temperature fell into the 40s. Sent a technician first thing on Saturday morning. Even though it was the weekend and I was in a jam, I was not overcharged, nor was I lied to about needing unnecessary repairs. Yesterday I called White Heating, Inc. because my furnace was acting up. I was at home standing by the tech the entire time he had his hands in the furnace. The Tech that came to look at my furnace diagnosed the problem with the blinking indicator light. The light was telling him "Ignition failure (check ground)". The Tech check the ground to the furnace and ground to the board. He did not check ground to the igniter or the flame rod that was sending the signal back to the board. He automatically jumped to the conclusion that is was a bad board. He gave me a price of $280 for the new board plus another $98 to install the part, on top of the $98 for 1/2 hour I paid for the service call. I called the same supply house that White uses since we have an account and got the part for almost $100 cheaper and replaced myself. I have been a service tech for over 10 years on car washes, so replacing a plug and play board was not an issue. Low and behold this was not the issue! Since the Tech did not check any other parts I am now out $182.81 for the board. The dirty flame rod that sent a signal to the board was the issue, it needed cleaned. This was a $10 part I picked up this morning to have a spare. Just to make sure that the board was not the issue I placed my old board back in and it works just fine. The sad thing is that if the board was the issue there is a 5 year manufacture warranty on it since it was installed in June 2011. John at White called back this morning stating he was going to refund me the money for the service charge but could not do anything for me on the board. I give them credit on trying to make the situation right. read more
