Overall my experience at Peltz and Associates PT was outstanding. The only drawback was their schedule was full and it took weeks to initiate care, but like when I hire a contractor to work on my house I'm suspicious of the outfit that is available immediately. They told me if something opened sooner they would call me, and I was so impressed they came through on that and got me in 9 days before my appointment because someone else cancelled. The service at reception was top notch, I could tell the people in that department were happy at work, and I was so grateful for the AC on a hundred degree day. Will Kessler provided my care and was excellent . He showed genuine concern, carefully described all exam and treatment steps before proceeding and double checked my comfort level at each step. I was in for benign positional vertigo and the symptoms can be terrifying and miserable so I was rather nervous and his approach was so comforting. At the end he took considerable time answering my questions and giving me all the relevant info to go forward. Incidentally my symptoms subsided before I went in so the appointment confirmed the vertigo had resolved, but if it recurs, I will definitely seek care here. read more

My brother is receiving care, and the improvement is remarkable, thanks to Kate. She is so patient, kind, humorous that any resistance (which we kind of expected from my brother) never surfaced. Every visit is a little different, the exercises suited to the current physical limitations, yet every week the progress is remarkable. Kate makes suggestions for supportive attire, sends us home with illustrations of exercises to do between visits, and always begins and ends the sessions on a encouraging note. I saw Dr. Peltz, PhD, for a persistent vestibular problem identified by an otolaryngologist. His credentials are impeccable, and he is one of the area's most knowledgeable authorities on the subject. He used computer visualization, history, physical exam and research-based information to complete the diagnosis and to pinpoint the affected area. My treatment was successful, and a follow-up visit showed no evidence of the disorder. It can be a recurrent condition. If it does come back, this time I know who to call. read more

I started going to Carrie for oncology rehabilitation PT last year, but then I had to have another cancer surgery, so did not see her for several months. When I returned, she was extremely positive and made me feel so welcome to be back. She was able to break up scar tissue from my 3 abdominal surgeries and release some tight muscles which enabled me to breathe and move more easily. She evaluated my strength and gave me exercises to do at home which were just right for my low level of fitness. What I especially appreciate is Carrie's positive attitude, support and understanding. I saw Aaron Peltz from March to October 2017 for a old hip problem from falling off a treadmill several years earlier. Aaron is an incredibly gifted, knowledgeable and caring physical therapist. The combination of weekly therapy sessions with Aaron and the stretches he gave me to do at home daily were really effective and I made excellent progress. I was almost recovered by early October. After the N. CA firestorm, I moved out of the area and got a real appreciation of Aaron's approach to physical therapy. Aaron works directly with his patients for their full appointment time and knows what manipulations will help you to heal, literally measures your progress regularly, makes sure you're doing your home stretches/exercises correctly and answers your questions thoughtfully and honestly. Highly recommended! ALL of the office staff along with the therapists are wonderful. You get to see your therapist for your full visit in a private room, unlike some therapy offices where you are seen in a large open area and maybe see your therapist for 5 minutes and are turned over to different assistants or interns to finish your visit. My experience at Peltz has been exceptional where I truly felt I was being well taken care of. I did NOT feel like part of an assembly line as I had experienced at other physical therapy offices. I'm a fan of going to physical therapists when there is anything wrong with the human body. But not all physical therapists are created equal. You have to find a good one and you need to have positive results, When my former PT moved out of state, I had to find a replacement. I specifically went to this practice to see Dr. Joonmyung Hwang, (PT, DPT). He has an excellent education and despite his youth, has a wealth of experience. I had two issues to deal with--vertigo and a loss of balance. Dr. Hwang did the Epley maneuver on my first visit and that was it for the vertigo. Gone. The balance issues were more complicated and I was wondering how much of it was in my head rather than a physical issue. Dr. Hwang did an extensive evaluation that took 45 minutes. In the next five visits, he created a program of balance exercises based on each difficulty I was experiencing. Each visit was one on one and almost equally as long as the first one. To be honest, I really did not expect to see a whole lot of improvement, since aging, in most people anyway, causes balance problems. I did the program he wrote for me and lo and behold, I am not only better but markedly improved in every area of concern. Dr. Hwang's specialty is assisting in balance issues. He is extremely personable and caring as well, always good qualities to have in any form of medicine. The office personnel are cheerful, efficient and helpful. If you are in need of any physical therapy, this is will be a great place for you! read more

According to my therapist it is Peltz policy to assign a single therapist to work with one patient at a time. This means that I enjoy the undivided attention of my therapist there as opposed to other establishments that have multiple patients working with a single therapist simultaneously. There is the fringe benefit during the pandemic of reduced exposure to other therapists and patients. Apart from the waiting room, I have only been in the same room with one other therapist and her patient on one occasion so far after half a dozen sessions. My particular therapist is Ali Samii, who is especially patient with me as an old man well over twice his age. He spends his time analyzing my issues and discussing them with me. He has even followed me out to my car as I left to watch me go down steps and walk across the parking lot. This is the highest level of attention I have had out of three different services I have used here and on the east coast. read more

Since I live in Sonoma, I was hesitant to drive all the way to Wikiup; however, treatment proved to be the best I found anywhere. During acute flare-ups when I couldn't drive, Will was available by phone to lead me through the treatment. The front desk was kind and supportive. I became a patient of Peltz and Assoc .after several years of suffering form severe Vertigo after being seen by UCSF, ENT'S and a few Neurologists, MDs and PTs . My case was very severe and getting worse and I was at wits end ,So I figured Id try Vestibular Therapy for my Vertigo . I was terrified and extremely sick when I finally called,as I was afraid it would make things worse . I felt totally confidant as soon as I talked to Deb and Will . I'm a meat cutter and always have problems with my elbow from the repetitive motion of my job. Dr. Peltz spent a full hour with me every time I come in for a visit and he really took the time to understand what my issues are. He measured strength, flexibility and range of motion. He explained exactly what was happening in the joint and gave me a clear plan for getting me out of pain. He used the info to track my progress, and got me back to work. I was so relieved and happy with the care that I received I even brought my then 15 year old son to see Dr. Peltz. He was in pain from what we thought was a sports injury. After a couple visits Dr. Peltz diagnosed an issue with his mechanics, had he not gotten the proper diagnosis then, he would have gone on to have a long term and potentially life long issue.
